노인의 인식된 짐스러움과 죽음불안간의 관계에서 영성의 매개효과 검증 (Mediating Effects of Spirituality on the Relationship between Perceived Burdensomeness and Death Anxiety among the Elderly)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인들의 인식된 짐스러움이 죽음불안에 미치는 영향력과 이 두 변수와의 관계에서 영성이 매개효과로 작용하는지 탐색하는 것이다. 본 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 인식된 짐스러움은 불안에 이르는 경로와 영성이 죽음불안에 이르는 경로, 인식된 짐스러움이 죽음불안에 이르는 경로 모두에서 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 노인의 인식된 짐스러움이 높을수록 죽음불안이 높아졌고, 영성이 높을수록 죽음불안을 낮추는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 인식된 짐스러움이 죽음불안에 직접 영향을 미치는 경로와 인식된 짐스러움이 영성을 통해 죽음불안에 영향을 미치는 간접경로를 가정한 부분매개모형과 간접 경로만을 가정한 완전매개모형에서 영성의 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 인식된 짐스러움과 죽음불안과의 관계에서 인식된 짐스러움이 죽음불안에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 영성을 매개로 하여 간접적으로 미치는 영향력이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 죽음불안을 낮추기 위해서는 영성의 사회복지 실천적 개입이 중요하다는 점을 밝혔고 이 결과에 근거하여 실천적 제언을 하였다.

사내기업가정신이 조직성과에 미치는 영향: 시장지향성과 급진적 혁신의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Corporate Entrepreneurship on the Organizational Performance: Focused on the Mediating Effects of Market Orientation and Radical Innovation)

  • The purpose of this study includes: Firstly, to examine the effects of corporate entrepreneurship on market orientation, radical innovation, and organizational performance. Secondly, to examine the mediating effect of the market orientation, radical innovation on the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and organizational performance. In order to verify the relationships and mediating effect, data were collected from convenient sample of 269 employees at small and medium enterprises in Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongju city to test theoretical model and its hypotheses. All data collected from the survey were analyzed using with SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. This study reports findings as followed: first, the relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship and the market orientation is positively related. Second, there was also a positive correlation between the corporate entrepreneurship and the radical innovation. Third, there was also a positive correlation between the market orientation and the radical innovation. Fourth, the relationship between the market orientation and the organizational performance is positively related. Fifth, there was also a positive correlation between the corporate entrepreneurship and the organizational performance. Sixth, there was also a positive correlation between the radical innovation and the organizational performance. Finally, the market orientation played as a partial mediator on the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and radical innovation. The market orientation and radical innovation played as a partial mediator on the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and organizational performance. Also, the radical innovation played as a partial mediator on the relationship between market orientation and organizational performance. Based on these findings, the limitations of the study and some directions for future studies were presented.

아웃소싱 기업간 통제와 관계 몰입에 있어서 신뢰 매개 역할에 관한 연구 (The Relationship between Control Mechanism and Commitment in Information Systems Outsourcing : The Mediating effects of Trust)

  • Recently, with increasing interest in the subject of interfirm relationship mechanism, some information systems researchers point out that existing outsourcing theories are limited in explaining the choice of governance mechanisms in interfirm relational exchanges. Recognizing the importance of trust-commitment, this study focuses on the relationship of between control mechanism and commitment. Especially the role of trust as mediator is mainly researched. A mediation model was suggested on the basis of theoretical linkages from prior relevant studies. The research model was empirically tested with 73 IS outsourcing projects. The findings have significant impactions for further research and practice. Findings are as follows: First, outcome control, process control, social control had positive effects on trust and commitment. Second, inter-organizational trust played as a partial mediator on the relationship between control mechanisms and commitment. Based on these findings, the implication and the limitation of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

학업스트레스가 청소년의 자살충동에 미치는 영향 : 부모와 친구에 대한 애착의 매개효과 (The Effect of Academic Stress on Suicidal Impulse in Adolescence : Mediating Roles of Parent and Peer Attachment)

  • This study examined the mediating roles of parent and peer attachment in the relationship between academic stress and suicidal impulse among Korean adolescents. The 2959 ninth grade students in this study were selected from among 3211 students(excluding missing cases) who participated in the Korean Youth Panel Study. Following Baron & Kenny's(1986) suggestion, the mediator model was employed to analyze parent and peer attachment. Results showed that academic stress had a significant relationship with adolescent's suicidal impulse. Parent attachment acted as a partial mediator between academic stress and suicidal impulse; that is parent attachment provided a protective mechanism minimizing the direct effects of academic stress. However, peer attachment had no significant relationship with academic stress.

통원치료 중인 뇌병변 장애노인의 생활스트레스, 가족지원, 우울간의 관계성 검증 (Examining the Relationship between Depression, Daily Hassles, and Family Support among Elderly Cerebral Vascular Accident Outpatients)

  • Depression has a direct relationship with lower quality of life for elderly with cerebral vascular accidents(CVA). Daily hassles worsen depression for elderly with CVA disability and thus an effective intervention is necessary. This research examined the direct influence of daily hassles on depression and the mediation effect of family support among 161 elderly with CVA disability living in Seoul using Structural Equation Modeling. The direct effect of daily hassles on depression was statistically significant (p < .001) while family support was shown to be a mediator between daily hassles and depression. The mediation model of family support was examined using $x^2$ difference and Soble test. As a result, family support was proven to be a partial mediator. Implications are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study includes: the relationships between corporate entrepreneurship(innovation, proactiveness, risk-taking) and firm performance(non-financial performance, financial performance) and the mediating effect of the self-efficacy on the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and firm performance. In order to verify the relationships and mediating effect, data were collected from 368 individuals in employees working in small and medium-sized firms at Gyeongnam region to test theoretical model and its hypotheses. All data collected from the survey were analyzed using with SPSS 18.0. This study reports findings as follows: first, the relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship(except innovation) and the employee's self-efficacy is positively related. Second, there was also a positive correlation between the employee's self-efficacy and firm performance. Third, the relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship and the non-financial performance is positively related. The relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship(except innovation) and the financial performance is positively related. Finally, the employee's self-efficacy played as a partial mediator on the relationship between risk-taking and firm performance. The employee's self-efficacy played as a fully mediator on the relationship between proactiveness and non-financial performance. The employee's self-efficacy played as a partial mediator on the relationship between proactiveness and financial performance. However, there was no empirical evidence for the mediating effect of employee's self-efficacy on the relationship innovation and firm performance. Based on these findings, the implications and the limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

Entrepreneurship and Training Programs for Young Entrepreneurs in the New Era: An Empirical Study from Indonesia

  • This study aims to determine the factors that influence training programs in increasing entrepreneurial success as a new model for developing entrepreneurship training in a new era. It intended to provide a suggestion for building an entrepreneurship training model for Beginner Young Entrepreneurs (BYE) organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Indonesia. The study used a quantitative method by collecting data through a Google form questionnaire distributed via the WhatsApp group. This study employs samples from 358 BYE training participants for 2017-2020, and data was processed using Amos SEM software to analyze factors that influence the success of entrepreneurship. The results showed that entrepreneurial motivation is a partial mediator in increasing the effect of training on its success by BYE participants. Furthermore, the key factor for increasing entrepreneurial motivation is challenging young people to start businesses. This study recommends that BYE program policymakers build a training model by considering many practical case studies to increase motivation as an important mediator in influencing entrepreneurial success. Meanwhile, to boost the morale of training participants, it is necessary to add significant real challenges for participants to start entrepreneurship. Moreover, future studies should add other independent variables, such as personality.

주 양육자의 삶의 만족도와 학령기 아동의 자아존중감과 우울 간의 종단연구 (A Longitudinal Study between Main Caregivers' Life Satisfaction and Self-esteem and Depression of School-aged Children)

  • The purpose of the present study was to investigate the longitudinal relationship between main caregivers' life satisfaction and depression and self-esteem of school-aged children, and to provide plans for improving the lives of the school-aged children. For this purpose, we analyzed the three years'longitudinal panel data (2011-2013) of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) including 2,342 first grade elementary school children employing the latent growth model using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 22.0. Analysis results were as follows. First, main caregivers'life satisfaction and school-aged children's depression increased as time passes and linear change model was selected. Second, the initial status of main caregivers'life satisfaction had effects on the initial status of their children's depression, but initial status and rates of change of life satisfaction did not have an influence on the rates of change of the depression. However, it was found that the main caregivers' life satisfaction had effects on the school-aged children's self-esteem and it worked as a mediator on the longitudinal relationship between the main caregivers'life satisfaction and the children's depression. School-aged children's self-esteem was a partial mediator on the initial status of their depression and full mediator on these rates of change. These findings suggests that programs improving school-aged children's self-esteem should be developed.

A Moral-Belief Model for Deterring Non-Work-Related Computing in Organizations

  • Negative consequences incurred from employees' non-work-related computing (NWRC) have been one of the security-related issues in information intensive organizations. While most studies have focused on the factors that motivate employees to engage in NWRC, this study examines the mediating effect of moral beliefs on the relationship between sanctions and NWRC using a moral beliefs-based model. The research model posits that the formal (i.e., punishment severity and detection certainty) and informal sanctions (subjective norms and descriptive norms) enhance employees' moral beliefs against NWRC intention. From a cross-sectional scenario-based survey involving 176 employees working at banks in Mongolia, our results indicate that moral beliefs fully mediate the relationship between detection certainty/subjective norms and NWRC intention and act as a partial mediator in the relationship between descriptive norms and NWRC. The findings from this study present empirical evidence that both informal and formal sanctions could be an effective deterrent for NWRC intention through employees' moral beliefs.

The Effect of Service Quality and Value of Five-Star Hotel Services on Behavioral Intentions with the Role of Consumer Satisfaction as Mediator

  • This study aims to improve knowledge of consumers' decision-making by testing a conceptual model that considers the hotel's service quality and service value toward customers' behavioral intentions using a mediator, which is the role of consumers' satisfaction. The object of this research is five-star hotels, which has become a significant segment of the general hotel industry and is undergoing rapid expansion. This research is a quantitative research using questionnaire as the sampling method answered by people who have stayed at five-star hotels before. The total of 150 valid respondents were used in this study. The collected data was processed by a statistical tool software, Partial Least Square (PLS). The major findings of this research showed that the relations between service quality and service value of five-star hotels do not have significant positive impact on consumers' behavioral intention, nonetheless the mediation analysis shows that customers' satisfaction partially mediates service quality and service value with consumers' behavioral intentions to stay. It means that in this case, consumers' satisfaction has an important role to mediate service value quality and service value. As a result, the study shows that four out of six hypotheses are supported. A couple of recommendations are suggested for further research.
