With significant development of power electronics technology, the proliferation of nonlinear loads such as static power converters has deteriorated power quality in power transmission and distribution systems. Notably, voltage harmonics resulting from current harmonics produced by the nonlinear loads have become a serious problem in many countries. Many photovoltaic power generation systems installed in building systems have harmonics that are the worst object for distribution systems as a utility interactive system, and it tends to spread out continuously. Proposed and implemented in this paper is a multi-function inverter control strategy that allows a shunt active filter function to the power inverter of the photovoltaic power generation system established on a building system. The effectiveness of the proposed system is demonstrated through the simulation of a hypothetical power system using PSCAD/EMTDC.

항공전자 시스템 및 소프트웨어 기술의 복잡성이 증가함에 따라 소프트웨어의 신뢰성을 보장하는 방법으로 모델 기반 소프트웨어 개발의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모델기반 소프트웨어 설계를 이용하여 항공기 콕핏 내 주요 계기를 통합한 MFD(Multi-function Display)를 설계하고, 실시간 비행 데이터를 생성하여 시뮬레이션한 결과를 보인다.

A variety of target configurations in sputtering process have been proposed to deposit various structures of thin film alloys and compound films. In this study, we presented the comparative experimental results regarding to the characterization of properties of Cu-Ni thin films deposited by using a magnetron co-sputtering method, as a function of target configurations; one is using a single target with varying the area of Ni chips attached on the Cu target and another is using a dual-type target with two targets of Ni and Cu separated each other. Structural(d-spacing, crystal orientation, crystallite size, cross-sectional morphology) and electrical(resistivity) properties of deposited films are characterized and compared as a function of target configurations as well as deposition conditions.

최근 생체정보, 위치정보 등이 다양한 디바이스 인증에 활용되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 인증정보 템플릿들은 평문형태로 안전한 저장공간(Trust Zone)에 저장 되거나 또는 인증서버에 암호문으로 저장된 인증정보를 인증요청시 복호화하여 평문형태에서 인증에 사용된다. 따라서 해킹에 의한 인증정보의 유출시 치명적인 프라이버시 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 함수암호를 이용하여 암호화된 상태에서 인증정보의 노출 없이 안전하게 인증할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.

This paper suggests a position estimating algorithm using mono vision system with projective geometry method. Generally, 3-D information can not be easily extracted from mono vision system which is taken by a camera at a specific point. But this defect is overcome by adopting model-based image analysis and selecting lines and points on the ground as natural landmarks. And this paper suggests a method that estimates position from many natural landmarks by distance error weight function.

This paper presents a new method for removing reaching phase in variable structure control systems using Bell type switching function. By proposed method, during the entire control process reaching phase is removed. For effective speed control of trapezoidal type brushless DC motor, a time varying switching function based speed controller is developed as illustration.

In this paper, novel concept of a photovoltaic(PV) power generation system adding the function of active filter(AF) is proposed. Even PV power generation system can be treated to a harmonics source for the power distribution system, it is necessary that the function of AF system in grid connected PV power generation system. Active Filters intended for harmonic solutions are expending their functions from harmonic compensation of nonlinear loads into harmonic isolation between utilities and consumer, and harmonic damping throughout power distribution system. So, the PV system combined the function of AF system can be usefully applied in power distribution system. Here, the control strategy of PV-AF system is introduced.

We propose a sound source localization method using the Head-Related-Transfer-Function (HRTF) to be implemented in a given platform. HRTFs contain not only the information regarding proper time delays but also phase and magnitude distortions due to diffraction and scattering by the shading object. Therefore, a set of HRTFs for any given platform provides a substantial amount of information as to the whereabouts of the source. In this study, we introduce new phase criterion in order to find the sound source location in accordance with the HRTF database empirically obtained in an anechoic chamber with the given platform. Using this criterion, we analyze the estimation performance of the proposed method in a household environment.
