The grating projection method with phase-shifting technique is very useful in measuring the 3-dimensional (3D) shape with high accuracy and speed. In this work, we have developed an ultra high-speed digital laser grating projection system using a high-power laser diode and a highsensitivity CMOS camera. With our system, the optical measurement required to find out the profile of a 3D object could be carried out within 2.6 ms, which is a significant ($\sim$10 times) improvement compared with those of the previous studies.

K-GMT Science Group (KGSG) is actively promoting community-wide science operations for the GMT era in 2020's. These include K-GMT Science Program, K-GMT Science White Paper Initiative, K-GMT Summer School, and science operation of IGRINS. We will introduce the current status and the plan for 2014 of the various KGSG activities and invite the participation of the community members.

Network uncertainties such as data loss and time delay can vary the stability property of networked control system. Therefore, these uncertainties must be considered first in designing networked control system. In this paper, we present a new stability analysis method of networked control system with data loss and time delay. The proposed method can determine maximum allowable time delay and minimum allowable transmission rate that preserves stability performance of networked control system. The results of the simulation validate effectiveness of our stability analysis method.

This study aims to examine what factors park users value in urban parks and to find ways to elevate user satisfaction for the creation and usage of an urban park. To achieve this, the study relied on two methods: the descriptive method of researching publications and related scholastic writings, and the empirical study method including a survey of present condition and interviews with users. The result shows that the 'sense of nature' is more important than 'functional facilities' in urban natural parks and 'management part like safety and cleanliness of park' is more important than 'utilizing facilities' in urban neighborhood parts. Generally, the importance rating of urban parks visitors felt in them were higher than the satisfaction rating, in terms of living surroundings. Factor analysis resulted in six factors in a natural park and in eight factors in a neighborhood park. Regression analysis in a natural and a neighborhood park showed a positively correlated factor: benefits sought, suggesting that people recognize the importance of urban parks through the benefits they gain in them and the satisfaction they find in urban parks depends on utilizing facilities. Therefore, in urban natural parks, people will find greater satisfaction through pursuit of the benefits they are seeking; improvements to park facilities should address the benefits that park users are seeking.

This study aims at proposing a sound and sustainable development direction of an residential environment by analyzing testimonies of residents who lived in Park Hill flats or their surround at Sheffield City in the United Kingdom. The results are obtained through the analysis on a residential environment of Park Hill flats, opinions of the residents on its refurbishment, and effects of the building on the residential environment. The block of Park Hill flats was a community with a strong unity and solidarity, but that became increasingly a slum by the decline of the physical and social environment since the 1980s. In particular, it was identified that the deterioration of the social environment than that of the physical environment was a major cause of the decline. Nevertheless, it was found that "streets in the sky", the concept applied in Park Hill, played a key role in activating the community in the apartment complex. However, that street system in the complex has caused noise, poor security, and invasion of privacy. If such problems are solved, the streets in the sky will be a meaningful alternative for community activation and then ensuring sustainability in Korean residential environments that lost the function of the community.

RFID 기술이 발전하면서 다양한 분야에서 이를 활용하기 위한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. EPC 네트워크 시스템은 EPC로 구동되는 모든 이벤트를 캡쳐하는 EPCIS를 가지고 있으며, 제품 정보를 포함한다. EPC 태그가 다른 곳으로 이동될 때마다, 리더는 태그를 읽으며 태그 데이터가 EPCIS에 저장된다. EPCIS는 데이터 저장 시스템으로써 클라이언트가 서비스를 요구할 때 원하는 데이터를 제공한다. 모든 서비스가 웹 서비스를 통하여 EPCIS로 접근되며 EPCIS는 클라이언트로 하여금 제품의 실시간 상태를 얻을 수 있게 한다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크에서 실시간으로 제품 상태를 파악하고, 재고 관리를 위해 EPCIS를 이용한 서비스 정보 시스템을 제안하였다.

Bickerstaff's brainstem encephalitis (BBE) is a rare disorder with acute ophthalmoparesis, ataxia, consciousness disturbance, and pyramidal signs of suspected autoimmune origin. A-62-year-old woman developed acute diplopia, dysarthria, gaze-paretic nystagmus and gait ataxia. Her mental status fell subsequently into stupor. Brain MRI and nerve conduction study showed no significantly abnormal findings. Electroencephalography revealed diffuse low voltage slowings. After treating with intravenous immunoglobulin, she demonstrated rapid clinical recovery. This case suggests that immunoglobulin can be an alternative option in BBE treatment, especially when plasmapheresis and corticosteroids are difficult or contraindicated.

Pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis is a disease involving the proliferation of atypical smooth muscle cells from the perilymphatics, peribronchial and perivascular region of the lung and the retroperitneum. The disease usually affects women of child-bearing age. We recently experienced a case of pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis in a 31-year-old women who had suffered from a chylous pleural effusion. Histologic confirmation of lymphangioleiomyomatosis Was made upon a video-associated thoracoscopic lung biopsy. Here we report this case with a brief review of the literature.

데이타 중심 센서 네트워크에서는 측정된 데이타의 값에 따라 데이타를 저장하는 센서 노드가 결정되기 때문에 같은 값을 갖는 데이타가 빈번하게 발생하면 이를 저장하는 센서 노드에 부하가 집중되어 에너지가 빠르게 고갈되는 문제가 있다. 또한 센서 네트워크가 확장되면 데이타 저장 및 질의 처리시 목적 센서 노드로의 라우팅 거리가 멀어져 통신 비용이 증가되는 문제가 있다. 그러나 기존 연구들은 데이타 저장의 효율적인 관리에만 치우쳐 이와 같은 문제를 효율적으로 해결하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 비균등 네트워크 분할(Non-Uniform Network Spilt: NUNS) 기법을 제안한다. NUNS는 센서 네트워크를 센서 노드 개수와 분할된 영역 크기 차이가 최소가 되도록 비균등 크기의 Partition으로 분할하고 각 Partition에서 발생한 데이타를 그 Partition 내의 센서 노드가 저장 관리함으로써 센서 노드의 데이타 저장 부하를 분산시키고, 센서 네트워크의 확장에 따른 통신 비용을 줄인다. 그리고 NUNS는 각 Partition을 분할된 영역 크기 차이가 최소가 되도록 센서 노드 개수만큼 비균등하게 Zone으로 분할함으로써 센서 노드가 없는 Zone으로 인해 센서 노드에 부하가 집중되는 것을 막고 불필요한 라우팅 비용을 줄인다.

광대역통합망 환경에서 에지 라우터에 요구되는 여러 가지 기능 및 성능항목들 중에서 차세대 개방형 시스템 플랫폼을 적용하면서도 10Gbps 라인속도를 제공할 수 있는 방안을 연구하고 그에 따른 상위수준의 시스템 구조를 제안한다. 10Gbps 인터페이스에 대해서 라인속도를 제공하기 위해서는 스위치 카드와 라인카드간의 물리적 연결에 최소한 10Gbps의 두배에 해당하는 20Gbps 대역폭 할당이 필요하며 이를 위해서 개방형 플랫폼의 패브릭 인터페이스에서는 라인카드당 8개의 연결 링크를 사용하는 듀얼-듀얼 성형 토폴로지를 사용하여야 한다.
