영역조건평균에 기초한 난류연소속도의 직접수치해법검증 (Validation of an asymptotic zone conditional expression for turbulent burning velocity against DNS database)

  • Zone conditional formulation for the Reynolds average reaction progress variable is used to derive an asymptotic expression for turbulent burning velocity. New DNS runs are performed for validation in a statistically one dimensional steady state configuration. Parametric study is performed with respect to turbulent intensity, integral length scale, density ratio and laminar flame speed. Results show good agreement between DNS results and the asymptotic expression in terms of measured maximum flame surface density and estimated turbulent diffusivity in unburned gas.

  • Numerical studies were performed to investigate the seismic performance of Flat Plate System. For the numerical studies, a computer program for Finite Element analysis was developed. Parametric studies were performed to investigate variations of strength and ductility of flat plate with major parameters: gravity load, reinforcement ratio, thickness, column sizes. The numerical results provide a valuable insights on the behavior of flat plates. The comparison with the current design method shows that the current design methods for strength and ductility need to be improved in some aspects.

  • This study is aimed at the experimental investigation of the influence of the structural parameters such as concrete cover, width of specimen and bar size on the dowel action of reinforcing bari in high strength concrete members. Based on the proper combination of these parameter, a total of 46 specimens has been cast for fc'= 500 ㎏/㎠ and another 46 specimens for fc'= 700 ㎏/㎠, and cured at the laboratory. Comparative analyses have been made for the parametric contribution to the dowel strength from the test results, and a regress equation has been suggested.

  • Steel effects on creep deformation of prestressed concrete structues are investigated by a parametric study. Prestressed steel ratio, Prestressed steel distribution, initial flexural stress gradient, and modular ratio are selected as parameters. Sectional analysis for the beam section of parameter combination is performed to find curvatrue change due to creep. Based on the investigation, long-term curvature formulas from regression analysis are proposed. Application of the furmulas to simply supported prostressed concrete beam shows the effect of steel on deflection.

  • Baxed on the results tested by various researchers, a complete stress-strain relation of plain and confined concrete is proposed. The peak strength and the corresponding strain are calculated by using the Mohr-Coulomb theory and elastic tri-axial constitutive relation. A parametric study was conducted to assess the influence of the plain concrete strength, the degree of confinement, the shape of the section, and the tie configuration for the square section. According to this model, the behavior of concrete section is predicted, and compared with experimental data and other proposed models on circular and square sections. A good agreement between theoretical and experimental results is observed.

  • In this article, we study skew ruled surfaces by using the geodesic Frenet trihedron of its generator. We obtained some conditions on this surface to ensure that this ruled surface is flat, II-flat, minimal, II-minimal and Weingarten surface. Moreover, the parametric equations of asymptotic and geodesic lines on this ruled surface are determined and illustrated through example using the program of mathematica.

  • The objectives of this study are to perform extensive analysis on internal mass motion for a wider parameter space and to provide suitable design criteria for a broader applicability for the class of spinning spacecraft. Shortest Path Problems:A Parametric Study

  • Two important sensitivity issues over shortest path problems have been discussed. One is the problem of updating shortest paths when nodes are added and when the lengths of some arcs are increased or decreased. The other is the problem of calculating arc tolerances, that is the maximum increase of decrease in the length of a single arc without changing a given optimal tree. In this paper, assuming that there exists a parameter of interest whose perturbation causes the simultaneous changes in arc lengths, we find the invariance condition on these simultaneous changes such that the shortest path between two specified nodes remains unchanged.

  • Reflected Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process is a process that returns continuously and immediately to the interior of the state space when it attains a certain boundary. In this work, we are concerned with the study of asymptotic behaviours of parametric estimation for ergodic reflected Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes with two-sided barriers. Moreover, we also focus on the relations between regulators and the local time process.

  • In this paper, we study the behavior and sensitivity analysis of the solution set for a new system of parametric generalized nonlinear mixed quasi-variational inclusions with (A, ${\eta$)-accretive mappings in quniformly smooth Banach spaces. The present results improve and extend many known results in the literature.
