과변조 영역에서의 제3고조파 주입형 PWM 인버터 제어 모델 분석 (Analysis of the Control Model of Third Harmonics Injected PWM Inverter in Over Modulation Mode)

  • 본 논문에셔는 3고초파를 주입한 정현파 PWM 인버터의 과변조 영역에서 인버터를 전형적으로 제어하기 위한 새로운 방법을 제시한다. 정현파 PWM에 3고조파를 삽입하면 단순한 정현파 PWM에 비해 선형영역을 확장할 수 있다. 그러나 이 경우에도 선형영역은 six-step 인버터메 비해 90% 정도가 된다. 따라서 과변조 영역에서 변조지수와 인버터 출력의 기본파 전압의 크기에 대한 관계를 분석함으로써, 과변조 영역에서 기준전압올 보정해 줄 수 있다. 보정된 기준 전압을 명령값으로 사용하게 되므로 반복 계산 없이 3고조파 주입형 정현파 PWM에서 출력전압을 SIX-step에샤의 전압에 이로는 과변조 영역까지 선형적으로 제어가 가능하다. 인버터-유도전동기시스템에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여 이를 확인하였다.

  • Based on the idea that nonlinear PWM controller design can be directly applied to the attitude tracking problem of thruster-controlled spacecraft because it constitutes a sub-class of nonlinear PWM controlled system, nonlinear and output error feedback PWM controlled system is considered to describe the behavior of thruster-controlled spacecraft, and to determine actual thruster on-time which guarantees system stability. A differential geometric approach is utilized to show an asymptotical stability of average PWM system, which finally guarantees the stability of closed loop PWM controlled system. Simulation results show that the motions of PWM controlled system occurs very closely around those of the average model of PWM controlled system.

New PWM Technique for Two-Phase Brushless DC Motor Drives

  • A new PWM technique for a two-phase BLDC motor fed by a two-phase eight-switch inverter is proposed in this paper. It is well known that a two-phase eight-switch inverter can significantly improve power output compared with a two-phase six-switch inverter in a two-phase motor drive. To drive the two-phase BLDC motor simply and effectively, two normal PWM strategies are investigated to manage speed regulation. However, under the conditions of low speed and light load, especially during the braking process, the current in a short time of one period is near zero, which is a discontinuous waveform every half period. To solve it, a novel PWM technique is investigated to improve the operational performance of normal technique. Using the new PWM scheme, the current continues every half period and the braking performance is improved. The effectiveness of the proposed PWM method is verified through the experiments.

  • In case while M(modulation index) is more than 0.7, the spectrum of motor voltage and current of a conventional two-phase SRP-PWM scheme are not reduced considerably. To solve the problems of a conventional two-phase SRP-PWM, this paper proposes a two-phase SRP-PWM(DZSRP-PWM) with double zero vector mode which zero vector is selected as V(111) in case of M >0.7, and zero vector is selected as V(000) if M < 0.7. For the validity of the proposed method, the PSIM simulations and experiments were achieved. And the simulation and experiment results show that the voltage and current harmonics all over the modulation index are spread to a wide band area.

  • This paper discusses the control of generator field using dual IGBT PWM regeneration method to target brushless synchronous generator. If one of PWM bridges happens to fault, it transfers automatically and can be in charge of full load. Also it has an advantage of the operation which UPS connected in parallel with PWM bridge can supply power to excitation system in condition of main power loss. This PWM system supplies field current to generator in one quadrature operation, regenerates field coil energy to main power supplier in four quadrature operation. We designed, manufactured and applied the first trial product at J-power plant.

  • 본 논문에서는 2상 유도전동기의 가변속장치인 3-레그 2상 인버터의 PWM 방식을 공간벡터제어 방식으로 제안하였다. 기존의 3-레그 인버터의 PWM방식은 전형적인 SVPWM 방식을 적용하여 PWM 방식이 복잡하다. 본 논문에서는 3상 PWM 옵셋전압방식을 응용하여 2상 인버터에 적용하여 기존의 공간 벡터(space vector) PWM(SVPWM) 방식방식을 단순화 시킨 것이다. 제안된 3-레그 인버터의 PWM방식에 대한 타당성을 확인하기 위해 모의 실험과 실험이 실행되었다.

  • HEV를 구동시키는 인버터 시스템은 고정 주파수로 스위칭하는 PWM(Pulse Width Modulation)방식으로 구동이 된다. 고정주파수를 이용한 PWM은 전류제어의 주기가 일정하기 때문에 디지털 화가 쉬운 장점을 가지고 있다. 하지만 그로인한 특정 주파수 부분에 고조파가 생성이 되게 되는데 이 고조파로 인해 소음이 유발된다. 하지만 이 소음을 억제하기 위해서 랜덤PWM을 사용하게 되면 전류 제어가 고정주파수로 스위칭하는 PWM에 비해서 완벽하게 되기가 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 HEV의 소음을 저감시키면서 동시에 전류제어도 가능한 랜덤PWM기반의 전류제어 방법을 연구하였다.

DPWM 방식을 적용한 3상 계통 연계 인버터의 LCL-필터 설계 (Design of LCL-filter for Grid-Connected Three-Phase Inverters Using a Discontinuous PWM Method)

  • This paper proposes a design method of LCL-filter for a grid-connected three-phase inverter using a discontinuous PWM (DPWM) method. When using a DPWM method, many harmonic voltages are generated in the inverter output compared to a continuous PWM (CPWM) method. Therefore, an optimized grid-connected filter design is required for a DPWM method. The proposed design method provides generalized formula to design accurate LCL-filter without trial and error procedures. An inverter side inductance is designed by analyzing the current ripple injected to the grid. The Optimized parameters of LCL-filter can be designed by analyzing the total harmonic distortion (THD) and the ripple attenuation factor of the output current. The proposed LCL filter design method is demonstrated by simulation and experimental results.

  • In this paper, we suggest a new space vector PWM modulation method with very short processing time which does not need identification of nearest three vectors(NTV) and duty ratio for each vector. The suggested PWM method makes mean value of phase voltage to be same as reference during every modulation period by use of a triangle in small hexagon on multi-level vector space. This paper described the suggested modulation method can be successfully applied to the space vector modulation use of multi-level inverter by computer simulations and experiments.

고속전자밸브를 이용한 유압실린더의 PWM 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on PWM Control of Hydraulic Cylinder Using High Speed Solenoid Valve)

  • The conventional PWM method, which was used in controlling the on-off valve, such as high-speed solenoid valve, was modulating the width of the pulse applied to the valve, by selecting arbitrary sampling time and modulating the duty-ratio in proportion to the error. However, in this method, a selection of long sampling time was inevitable and it was unable to get a high accuracy and a quick response. This study is for designing an appropriate controller for high-speed solenoid valve by proposing an improved duty-ratio modulation method using the Saw-toothed Carrier Wave which enables a short sampling time selection, high accuracy of control, and a quick response. Test which was carried out in the laboratory shows that transient and steady state response could be improved by PID controller.
