  • In recent years, the Photovoltaic(PV) industries have been Increasing steadily by an average of 30$\%$ per year. However, it is necessary to reduce PV module cost and to improve conversion efficiency to be promoted distribution of PV Japan, USA and Europe have been researching cost and efficiency of that. In this paper, we try to review diffusion status and policy of PV in these countries. From the results, we will intend to suggest a suitable future course for domestic PV distribution.

  • Maximum power point tracking(MPPT) techniques are used in photovoltaic systems to maximize the PV array output power by tracking continuously the maximum power point which depends on panels temperature and on irradiance conditions. In this paper, the controller of the stand-alone PV system applicable to various fields are designed. The improved P&O MPPT and traditional P&O MPPT method was applied. This improved algorithm consists of a constant perturbation with an step control which will make easier the controller PV power data acquisition process. This strategy of control has, in first time, been validated by PSIM simulations. After, been field test. The experimental results show that the improved P&O method increased the PV output power compare to traditional P&O method.

  • This paper introduces the modeling of grid-connected photovoltaic(PV) generation using Matiab/Simulink. The model is based on the equivalent circuit of the PV solar cell including the effects of solar irradiation and temperature changes. The PV arrays are modeled to be built up with the series/parallel combination of PV solar cell and are connected to the distribution system via an inverter. The simulation results show that the typical characteristics and outputs of the PV arrays are accurate.

  • The photovoltaic(PV) industry has been growing worldwide. Recently, the PV industries not also in the traditional PV advanced countries but also in other countries are rapidly growing. Especially, China has become the largest supplier in the world PV supply side since 2007. Both the world PV supply and demand rose steadily in 2008 like recent bumper years. In 2008, the world solar cell production reached 6.85GW~7.91GW presenting growth of 85% over the previous year. On the demand side, 81 countries contributed to the 5.95GW presenting growth of 110% over the previous year.

  • It is important to find the maximum efficient conditions for the output of the photovoltaic(PV) system to determine the optimal installation location of the PV system. The output of PV system depends on the irradiance. Therefore, this paper introduces the pilot experiment set to track the output of PV system according to the variance of irradiance and analyzes the result of experiment using this set. The pilot experiment set consists of the PV modules and the inverter to convert DC power to AC power. For this experiment, the fixed and tracked modules are used.

  • This paper describe the power quality measuring result of the inter-connected residental PV system. The power quality measuring for inter-connected residental PV system are important to verify their performance and effect of power distribution system with inter-connected residental PV system. Also, these power quality measuring and analysis are essential to improve electrical safety. In order to evaluate influence of power distribution system with inter-connected residental PV system, we measure and analyze power quality index such as power, voltage, current, harmonic, THD, flicker index, power factor and frequency using DEWE5000.

  • PV(Photovoltaic) system is environmentally friendly power system using solar energy in renewable energy. PV system compared to other renewable energy power generation systems is relatively easy to install, so the dissemination is increasing worldwide. Especially, BIPV(Building Integrated Photovoltaic) is a system that PV modules are installed on the building and use renewable energy. But this system is difficult to apply due to the shadow of adjacent buildings and limited installation. In this study, payback period is calculated by Retscreen 2010, that is an economic assessment software of renewable energy, on applied to the bridge of PV system. As results, this study aims at actively considering the application.

  • Consider the optimal design for PV system, it is apply to 3kW interconnected electric power PV system, that is a point of reference for 3kW PV the spread residential section system. Through the driving various practical system, we look into that for efficiency of generation and stability of interconnected system. Using obtained data acquisition, It can be suggest that installation and management for system parameter to optimal design maximum generation electric power. PV system have some losses that are variation radiation, shadow, change temperature, unbalanced grid connection, serial circuit loss, MPP deference loss, PCS loss and so forth. Using obtained various performance characteristic result, we can make database in the future, through the this study, we can get the reliance and have regard to spread PV system.

  • In this paper, based on MATLAB which has characteristic that is simply applied to control algorithm and source modeling, photovoltaic modeling is implemented. Photovoltaic modeling is similarly performed PV array and simulated. Also, in order to output maximum power of PV, MPPT control is simulated. Moreover, simulation of converter is performed by means of PLECS (Piece wise Linear Electrical Simulation) which is easily made schematic of power electronics. Also, we compare simulation results and Sharp PV module and Suntech PV module. Finally, informative simulation of PV generation system is provided.

  • As well known, the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is an important role in photovoltaic (PV) power systems. MPPT finds and maintains the operation of PV at the maximum power point when the irradiation and cell-temperature change. In this paper, the studied system includes a PV array, a Buck-Boost DC/DC converter, a DC/AC inverter and it is connected to the three phase power system. The solar array operates as a non-linear voltage source. The P&O algorithm with power feed-back is used to control the operating point of PV array at the maximum power point. The effects of irradiation and cell-temperature on the dynamic responses are also considered.
