  • This paper reports the developement of the protection circuit of electronic starter for fluorescent lamps of end-of-life. The key point of this paper is to protect for lamp of end-of-life by four operational amplifiers (OP AMP) and one solid state relay (SSR). In this paper we simulated the circuit by PSpice and compared with experimental results.

  • In this paper, the simulation of solar system was used to facilitate PSPICE. Solar cells, Controller, MPPT system, DC-DC system modeling, and easy to use, made to the library. To prove the validity of the library for the temperature and space radiation were simulated and behavioral characteristics were identified. To prove the validity of the simulation, the hardware was constructed to the same conditions. Implemented using the hardware and the DSP controller for a real system, the results were confirmed by experiments.

  • A design guide to type-3 PLLs for FMCW radars is provided. To do that, the cross-over frequencies of the open-loop transfer functions were normalized to 1 Hz and closed-loop properties were compared through simulations using Pspice. As a result, several guides to design type-3 PLLs were provided: 1) secure 45 degrees of phase margin, 2) locate two zeroes at an identical frequency, and 3) poles may be added to raise order of the PLL at higher frequencies than the cross-over frequency of the open-loop transfer function about ten times.

  • The continuous time signal system by development of CMOS technology have been receiving consideration attention. In this paper, Low pass filter using new CMOS floating resistor have been designed with cut off frequency for speech signal Processing. Especially a new floating resistor consisting entirely of CMOS devices in saturation has been developed. Linearity within $\pm$0.04% is achieved through nonlinearity via current mirrors over an applied range of $\pm$1V The frequency response exceeds 10MHz, and the resistors are expected to be useful in implementing integrated circuit active RC filters. The low pass filter designed using this method has simpler structure than switched capacitofilter. So reduce the chip area. The characteristics of the designed low pass filter using this method are simulated by pspice program.

  • In this paper, GaN-SBD devices with excellent breakdown voltage and frequency characteristics for use in high-power microwave wireless power transmission has been modeled for PSpice circuit simulation. The RF-DC conversion circuits were simulated and compared with a commercial Si-SBD device. Although the modeled GaN-SBD devices had lower RF-DC conversion efficiency compared to Si-SBD at 2.4 and 5.8 GHz, it was confirmed through PSpice circuit simulations that they can be used sufficiently according to the required application circuit in a high power situation.

  • In this paper, we have constructed a self-diagnostic circuit which could detect erroneous signals in most cases that a eight-beam piezoresistive accelerometer were destroyed more than its one beam. To confirm the function of the circuit, PSPICE simulation was carried out. An IC chip was fabricated with a layout of KA 324 amplifier using a bipolar standard processing. After a package of the chip was sealed using a plastic package with 24 pins, the self-diagnostic characteristics were investigated. Then, the measured self-diagnostic characteristics of the circuit were compared with the PSPICE simulated result.

The Modeling Analysis of the AT Forward Multi-Resonant Converter (AT 포워드 다중공진형 컨버터의 모델링 해석)

  • The high efficiency multi-resonant converter(MRC) is capable of operating at a high frequency because the losses are decreased due to the resonant tank circuit. Such a few MHz high frequency applications provide high power density[W/inch3] of the converter. However, the resonant voltage stress across the switch of the resonant tank circuit is 4∼5 times input voltage. This high voltage stress increases the conduction losses because of on-resistance of a MOSFET with higher rating. In this paper, the modeling analysis for the AT Forward MRC suggested to solve the these problems is discusses. The operational modes of the AT Forward MRC are divided to 8 equivalent modes according to the two switching sequences. Each mode analysis is covered using the equivalent circuits modeled over all of the paper. The operational principle of the resonant converter was verified through the experimental converter with 48[V] input voltage, 5[V]/50[W] output voltage/power and PSpice simulation. The measured maximum voltage, 5[V]/50[W] output voltage/power and PSpice simulation. The measure maximum voltage stress is 170[V] of 2.9 times the input voltage and the maximum efficiency is measured to 81.66%.

  • In this paper, Power LED(Light Emitting Diodes) is studied to driver as a new lighting system in the spotlight, replacing a large existing lighting system with fluorescent and incandescent lighting. To take advantage a variety of DC power as the boost DC-DC converter design specifications through the inductor L and capacitor C through PSPICE to calculate the best estimate of the value. Converter's switching frequency is 50[kHz], the first Duty Rate was made to increase gradually depending on the value of the detection were, 10[%] in the output voltage. As a result, the simulated Boost Power LED driver characteristics is in comparison with the design specifications, 5[%] or less as the error was approximated. So, when input 15[V] were offered, a stable output 24[V] were obtained, and Dimming Control through the adjustment of brightness and current consumption were obtained to possible result.

  • McT는 MOS-게이트형 사이리스터로써 MOS-게이트형 턴-온 및 턴-오프 특성과 낮은 도통 전압을 나타내는 소자이다. 그러나 SOA(Safe Operation Area)가 상대적으로 작기 때문에 스너버 회로를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 간단한 MCT PSPICE 모델을 사용하여 스위칭 특성과 RCD 스너버의 특성을 분석하였고 스너버 회로 설계방식을 제안하였다.
