온도분포 역해석 프로그램을 이용한 PSC 박스거더 교량 단면의 온도 분포 해석 (Temperature Analysis of PSC Box-girder Bridges Using Inverse Thermal Analysis Program)

  • It is well known that the thermal load in PSC(prestressed concrete) box-girder bridge is the principal cause of detrimental crack. The longitudinal stress caused by the lateral stress from the temperature gradient in slab of PSC box-girder bridge has a considerable influence on the durability and economy of bridge structures. As the basic study for the rational consideration of thermal load and the derivation of design guide, the inverse thermal analysis program for PSC box-girder bridges using field measurement data is developed. In this paper, thermal analyses are performed using field monitoring data for the sample PSC box-girder bridge. It is proposed that the link between monitoring program and the inverse analysis program is available.

  • FRP 스트럿을 가진 PSC 박스거더 교량 구조는 기존의 PSC 박스거더를 효율적으로 변형시켜 넓어진 상부 슬래브의 캔틸레버 부분을 스트럿으로 지지하는 구조형식으로, 상부구조의 자중을 줄여 하부구조의 크기를 경감시키므로 경제적이고 미관이 뛰어난 교량 건설을 가능하게 한다. 본 연구에서는 국내에서 처음 시도되는 FRP 스트럿을 가진 PSC 박스거더의 실물모형 재하실험과 유한요소해석을 수행하여 상호 결과를 비교함으로써 FRP 스트럿을 가진 PSC 박스거더 교량 구조에서 FRP 스트럿과 스트럿 적용에 따른 상부 슬래브의 구조적 안전성에 대하여 평가하였다.

  • PSC box girder is widely used in a domestic bridge and overpass, etc., therefore, the design and construction technique for the PSC box girder is developing day by day. Even if it were so, however, the design for anchorage zone in PSC box girder has depended on common sense and empirical results. And it is the current situation that the designer has difficulty due to inadequacy of provisions in the domestic design code and lack of understanding for behavior of anchorage zone. Besides, the design based on Leonhardt's method is being done in general, but the design may be various even for the same structure because of the difference in a way of applying. In this paper, therefore, anchorage zone in PSC box girder bridge is analyzed and designed by using strut-tie model. Adequacy for the application of strut-tie model is verified by comparison with the way used in current design practice, and this study presents that strut-tie model can be a rational and an economical design than current design methods.

  • 본 연구는 사례연구를 통해서 강박스교와 PSC박스교의 생애주기비용(LCC)을 분석하여 경제성을 평가하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 유지관리비를 산출하기 위해 보수 및 교체주기에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 교량 형식별 LCC 분석 및 비교에는 현재가치 법을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 수행 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. (1) 사례 연구를 통해 강박스교와 PSC박스교의 LCC 분석모델을 제시하였다. (2) 설문조사를 실시하여 강박스교와 PSC박스교 부속물의 보수 및 교체주기를 산정하였다. (3) LCC 사례 연구 결과, PSC박스교가 강박스교보다 경제적인 것으로 분석 되었다.

  • The objective of this study is to develop the practical program which can check the constructible possibility of prestressed concrete box girder bridges for design. Checking constructible possibility is defined as checking the interference of each elements in a PSC box girder bridge and computing the distances of each elements. To check the constructible possibility of a PSC box girder bride, bridge must be modelled using solid in three dimension. By using a 3 dimensional solid modeling system, engineers can get the photo realistic 3D viewing images of the bridge and produce FEM analytic model of it. Users can manipulate their drawings easier and take off quantity of the whole structure and its elements as well as check the constructible possibility of their PSC box girder bridges.

부등 경간 비율, 하중계수 및 변단면의 영향을 고려한 PSC 박스 거더교의 최적설계 (Optimum Design of PSC Box Girder Bridge considering the Influence of Unequal Span Length Division, Load Factor, and Variable Girder Depth)

  • 본 연구는 최적설계 프로그램에 의해 PSC 박스 거더교를 최소경비로 자동 설계하고, 이를 다양한 Type의 교량 형식에 적용하여 강교나 콘크리트교량에 사용되는 일반적인 사항들이 PSC 교량에 어느 정도 부합이 되는지 검토하였다. 즉 연속교에서 부등 경간 분할교량과 등경간 분할교량을 비교하여 적정한 부등 경간 분할 비율을 산정하였고, 시대별ㆍ시방서별로 달리하는 하중계수가 PSC 박스 교량의 최적설계에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 또한 철근 콘크리트 교량 및 강교에 미관적으로 수려하고 재료 절감에 효과를 보이는 변단면을 PSC-박스형 거더교에 적용하여 보았다. 사용된 최적설계 프로그램은 축차 무제약 최소화 기법을 이용하였고, 설계과정에서 설계점들이 설계가능 영역밖에 있더라도 허용할 수 있도록 Kavlie가 제안한 확장 벌칙함수를 도입하였다. 또한 설계점들의 탐사 방법은 Powell's direct search method를 사용하며, 설계시간을 단축시키기 위해 설계점 변화에 따른 단면력 변화를 gradient를 이용하여 근사화 시키는 방법을 사용하였다.

  • The recent development of PSC girder bridges are mostly dedicated for optimization of self-weight, simplification of girder section for easy construction and minimization of maintenance efforts. Moreover some of those bridges are required as a landmark facility which raises the image of locality and harmony with surroundings. An extradosed bridge is one of the best alternates which not only covers the longer span than PSC box girder and also performs the role of landmark facility with much cheaper cost than cable stayed bridge. Hyundai is carrying out the construction of unique style extradosed bridge which have central suspension system and uniform girder depth named Keong-An grand bridge on the Sungnam-Janghowon Express highway. In this paper, major process of design and construction features of Keong-An bridge is presented.

PSC철도교량 격벽부의 3차원 거동 및 스트럿-타이 모델 해석 (3-D Behavior and Strut-and-Tie Model Analysis of Diaphragm in PSC Train Bridge)

  • The function of diaphragms at abutments and piers of prestressed concrete (PSC) box girder train bridge is to transfer forces from the superstructure onto bearings or column and to stiffen the superstructure cross-section against in-plane deformation. Due to large stress disturbance at diaphragm, the design for the diaphragm using conventional design method is relatively irrational than designs for other structual members. And, due to contribution to boundary condition of deck slab by the diaphragm, the behavior of deck slab near the diaphragm is different from behavior of the deck slab obtained from two dimensional analysis of the bridge, which is basis far the design of deck slab. In this paper, three dimensional behavior of deck slab near diaphragm of PSC box girder train bridge constructed by the precast span method are analyzed by using three dimensional finite element modeling. Then, strut-and-tie model is applied to design the diaphragm of PSC box girder train bridge. The modeling techniques in this paper can be applied effectively to examine the causes of cracks at deck slab near diaphragm and to design diaphragm rationally.

  • Transverse stress and longitudinal crack which are induced by temperature difference in box-girder sections and slab of which box-girder is composed have an important effect on endurance and economical efficiency of bridges. The study on longitudinal behavior of bridges which are subject to thermal load is reflected on the design of bridges. But, the study on transverse behavior of bridges has been performed just recently in foreign countries of finding the cause of longitudinal crack and in Korea, has not been tried in spite of large temperature variance due to geographical condition. This study examines temperature distribution feature in box-girder sections and bridge behavior due to thermal load, with measuring temperature distribution and stress of PSC box-girder bridge which is being constructed actually, and investigates appropriateness of design thermal load of highway bridge design code.
