The genus Eurycletodes Sars, 1909 is reported for the first time in Korea. A new species of the genus Eurycletodes was collected from Hansando Island, South Sea of Korea. So far, Eurycletodes comprises 27 species, with no previously recorded species reported in East Asia, including Korea. Eurycletodes (Oligocletodes) vadumus sp. nov. is morphologically most closely related to E. (O.) denticulatus Por, 1967, E. (O.) aculeatus Sars, 1920, and E. (O.) diva Menzel, 2011, but clearly distinguishable from the others based on the following morphological characteristics: absence of A2 exopodal seta, A1 last segment with two inner setae, P4 exp-3 proximal inner seta modified, the ratio of length and of caudal rami (1.6 times), and mandibular palp with three setae. Together with the new species, the number of valid species in this genus has risen to 28. A key to species of the genus Eurycletodes is provided.

Plants are able to recognize even small changes in surrounding temperatures to optimize their growth and development. At warm temperatures, plants exhibit diverse architectural adjustments, including hypocotyl and petiole elongation, leaf hyponasty, and reduced stomatal density. However, it was previously unknown how such warm temperatures affected the early stages of seedling development. In our recent study, we demonstrated that the RNA-binding protein, FCA, is critical for sustaining chlorophyll biosynthesis during early seedling development, which is a prerequisite for autotrophic transition at warm temperatures. FCA plays a dual role in this thermal response. It inhibits the rapid degradation of protochlorophyllide oxidoreductases (PORs) that mediate chlorophyll biosynthesis. In addition, it induces the expression of POR genes at the chromatin level, which contributes to maintaining functional enzyme levels. Our findings provide molecular basis for the thermal adaptation of chlorophyll biosynthesis during the early stages of seedling development in nature.

Here, some classes of regular order semigroups are discussed. We shall consider that the problems of the existences of (multiplicative) inverse $^{\delta}po$-transversals for such classes of po-semigroups and obtain the following main results: (1) Giving the equivalent conditions of the existence of inverse $^{\delta}po$-transversals for regular order semigroups (2) showing the order orthodox semigroups with biggest inverses have necessarily a weakly multiplicative inverse $^{\delta}po$-transversal. (3) If the Green's relation $\cal{R}$ and $\cal{L}$ are strongly regular (see. sec.1), then any principally ordered regular semigroup (resp. ordered regular semigroup with biggest inverses) has necessarily a multiplicative inverse $^{\delta}po$-transversal. (4) Giving the structure theorem of principally ordered semigroups (resp. ordered regular semigroups with biggest inverses) on which $\cal{R}$ and $\cal{L}$ are strongly regular.

O presente trabalho pretende explorar a relação entre a língua nacional e a construção da idenidade nacional no Brasil, materializando os enunciados da "Casa-grande & Senzala" de Gilberto Freyre e os discursos cruzados entre Freyre e romancistas. Atualmente, o português brasileiro é uma manifestação mais extensa e mais profunda da alma multiforme da nacionalidade brasileira como a língua é um tópico essencial no processo de constituição da nacionalidade, ao lado da geografia, da história e da étnia. Junto com o português brasileiro, como o idioma oficial do Brasil, tradições, ideias nacionais se difundiam por todos os habitantes dessa comunidade imaginária. Ao invés dos temas clássicos(como a mestiçagem e a história da vida privada) de Gilberto Freyre, neste trabalho, discutimos as interpretações que Gilberto Freyre fez pelo prisma do luso-tropicalismo sobre a língua e a identidade nacional no Brasil, considerando o cruzamento da Casa-grande e da Senzala representadas na estrutura das obras dos romancistas brasileiros.

As a preliminary step for production of large quantities of porcine leucocyte interferon(Por IFN-${\alha}$), various factors such as the sources of leucocytes, inducers and culture conditions were investigated. In addition, an assay system for the potency of porcine interferon was developed in a micro-system by using porcine kidney cell line, PK-15, and vesicular stomatitis virus. By the experiments, it was found that the porcine leucocyte interferon was synthesized more effectively in the leucocyte suspension with the higher viability and the lesser erythrocyte contamination. Regarding cell sources, the peripheral leucocytes produced a consistently higher unit of interferon than the spleen cells. When the efficiency of inducers was compared, the Sendai virus at the concentration of 125 HA unit/ml was found to be more effective for porcine leucocyte interferon production than the Newcastle disease virus. Average potency of 9 batches of the crude interferon measured by the established assay system was 1,200 unit/ml.

Protoplasts were isolated enzymatically from thalli of Porphyra tenera in relation to its utilization in breeding. As the concentration of the enzymes and incubation period increased, so did the yield of protoplasts. When a 250 mg fresh weight of the thalli was incubated in the $12\%$ abalone digestive enzyme mixture at $22^{\circ}C$ for 3 hours, about $2.5\times10^6$ protoplasts were released. The size of protoplasts ranged between 9$\mu$m and 25$\mu$m, with an average of 14.5$\mu$m.

The metal-ferroelectric-metal (MFM) capacitor in the ferroelectric random access memory (FeRAM) embedded RFID chip is used in both the memory cell region and the peripheral analog and digital circuit area for capacitance parameter control. The capacitance value of the MFM capacitor is about 30 times larger than that of conventional capacitors, such as the poly-insulator-poly (PIP) capacitor and the metal-insulator-metal (MIM) capacitor. An MFM capacitor directly stacked over the analog and memory circuit region can share the layout area with the circuit region; thus, the chip size can be reduced by about 60%. The energy transformation efficiency using the MFM scheme is higher than that of the PIP scheme in RFID chips. The radio frequency operational signal properties using circuits with MFM capacitors are almost the same as or better than with PIP, MIM, and MOS capacitors. For the default value specification requirement, the default set cell is designed with an additional dummy cell.

The objective of this study is screening the shear stress related proteins in chondrocytes using twodimensional electrophresis and MALDI-TOF. C-28/I2 cell line were grown. The fluid-induced shear stress(FISS) was applied using a cone viscometer at a rotational velocity of 80rpm for periods of 12 hours. Control cultures were tested under identical conditions without mechanical load application. Collected samples were used for the two-dimensional electrophoresis and MALDI-TOF. The identified proteins were calcyclin, RPE-spondin, interleukin-2, extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK), lamin B2, porA protein, and RET-ELE1 protein. All of them showed a decreased expression. In conclusion, seven proteins were identified as a shear stress related proteins in chondrocytes. As the destruction of articular cartilage is one of main pathogenesis of TMJ internal derangement, this study will give useful information for the understanding of the molecular aspect of TMJ disease.

Aim: The significance of the mucinous adenocarcinoma in TNM staging and prognosis for colorectal tumor patients is still controversial. The aim was to provide a meta-analysis for TNM staging and prognostic features of colorectal tumors. Methods: 30 individual case-control studies were finally included into this meta-analysis, involving a total of 444,489 cancer cases and 45,050 mucinous adenocarcinomas, of relations with TNM staging and prognostic features. Results: Compared to non-mucinous adenocarcinoma patients, the TNM IV stage accounted for a larger percentage of mucinous adenocarcinomas (OR=1.48, 95%CI 1.28-1.71, POR<0.001) and the prognosis was significantly poor (HR=1.06, 95%CI 1.04-1.08, P<0.001). After heterogeneity testing, the results was similar to the holistic approach outcome (HR=1.48, 95%CI 1.35-1.62, P<0.001). Conclusion: Compared to patients with non-mucinous adenocarcinomas, mucinous adenocarcinoma patients with later TNM staging make up a big percentage, and mucinous adenocarcinoma is an independent risk factor for poor prognosis.

Around 2nd century B. C. two varieties of apple, i. e. 'Nay' and 'Imgum' were already grown in China. It can be suspected that 'Nay' came from the West because of its popular word 'Pyn Por' and 'Imgum' was originated from North East Asia because of its word 'Lii Kiem'. After this time 'Imgum' was called as its popular name 'Sha Guoo' in about 15 th century. In 17th century a new variety of 'Nay' was named as 'Pyng Guoo' and this name was replaced with 'Nay' when the variety was widely supplied. In 19th century a better variety of 'Nay' was developed in the West and it was introduced into China in 20th century which was called 'Western Pyng Guoo'. As a result there were two kinds of 'Pyng Guoo', i. e. 'Chinese Pyng Guoo' and 'Western Pyng Guoo'. However, the 'Western Pyng Guoo' was more supplied and it was said 'Pyng Guoo' which was written as 'Pyng Guoo(?果)' or 'Pyng Guoo (平果)'. At present time apples were classified into 'Sha Guoo' and 'Pyng Guoo'. The old 'Nay' is now called 'Bin Tzyy' which is hardly found. From this study it is suspected that the history of Chinese apples were affected much on our introduction history and its naming.
