In this paper, we implemented the monitoring and control of geothermal heating and cooling system using mobile devices. The main idea of this system is to provide the convenience if the system can be controled in remote place with monitoring using the mobile devices like PDA. Basically, the system consists of the Server-Client structure divided into two parts, one is PDA and PC, the other is PC and PLC(Programmable Logic Controller). The PDA, which is equipped with Windows CE as as, monitors the status of the devices (motors and sensors, etc) attached to PLC and controls them. This does the system to be controled by the commands, which we assume to control, with wireless transmission between PC and PLC. The PDA parts are responsible for monitoring and control the devices connected to the PLC, and the PC part which equipped with the application is to provide the relation between PDA and PLC. Kalman Filter is an efficient recursive filter that estimates the state of a dynamic system from a series of incomplete and noisy measurement. The filter is very powerful in the field of autonomous and assisted navigation. In this paper, we carry out comparative stduy to validate the performance of the application of Kalman Filter. We will build personal localization system based on Cricket mote, our system can present the real-time position of person when the man with PDA moves around. The proposed system is composed of cricket sensor networks, PDA and host computer. There is one listener attached to the PDA. The PDA will get the distance data from the listener synchronously. It will calculate the position of the person in the coordinate of the Cricket system with the trilateration method. Furthermore, it sends the real-time position information to the host computer by Bluetooth. The host computer will use Kalman Filter to process data and get the final estimated track of the person.

새로운 패러다임의 유비쿼터스 환경과 물류의 응용에 있어서 RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification)는 핵심기술로 등장하고 있다. 그러나 RFID 칩의 가격이 비싸고 짧은 대역폭, 저 전력과 전파 간섭 등이 기술적인 문제가 될 수 있다는 점이 상용화의 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 또한, 규격화를 이루고 있는 리더기와 태그, 임베디드 소프트웨어 등은 대부분 비싼 로열티를 지급하고 수입되고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 논문은 물류 시스템 적용을 위한 유비쿼터스 환경에서 PDA를 이용한 RFID 인식 시스템으로 생산품에 태그를 부착하여 기본적인 정보의 입출력을 처리한다. 그리고 데이터베이스의 구축을 통한 신속, 정확, 안전한 통합 물류관리 시스템을 지원하여 물류비용을 최소화하고 고객 서비스를 향상 시킬 수 있다. 기존의 고정식 인식 시스템보다 휴대 및 이동이 가능하여 응용의 범위를 넓힐 수 있는 장점과 고가인 기존 장비에 비하여 저비용의 응용 시스템을 구축할 수 있다.

Handset 을 통한 m-Commerce 시장의 확장과 더불어 커머스를 기반으로 한 물류서비스, 무선 인트라넷, 모바일 증권거래 등에 PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)를 정보단말로 이용하는 서비스가 늘어나면서 PDA 무선 보안솔루션 개발에 관련된 관심이 잇따르고 있다. 특히 PDA 무선 보안솔루션은 무선 PKI를 비롯해 암호화 솔루션, 백신, 파이어월 등 다양한 분야에서 독특한 기술이 개발되고 있으며 보안분야의 새로운 시장을 형성할 것으로 기대된다. PDA 무선 보안 솔루션은 증권, 뱅킹 등에서 시도되어지고 있는 Application layer 에서 암호/복호화 하는 방식, 유선과 동일하게 브라우저/ 웹서버에서 제공하는 SSL 암호화 방식, SSL v3 및 TLS v1 과 호환되는 자체 암호화 모듈 방식등의 3 가지로 크게 나누어 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 WinCE OS 의 iPaq PDA 에 SSL v3 및 TLS v1 과 호환되는 자체 암호화 모듈 방식의 시스템을 설계한다. PDA 와 서버 간의 인증, 메시지 기밀성 및 무결성을 충족시킬 수 있는 보안 서비스를 제공하고 유선과 동일한 수준의 보안 수준을 유지하면서도 지금까지 무선 암호인증의 문제점이었던 소용량 무선단말기의 한계를 극복하는 PDA 용 무선 보안 솔루션을 설계하는데 목적을 두고 있다.

Product data analytics (PDA) is a data-driven analysis method that uses product data management (PDM) databases as its operational data. It aims to understand and evaluate product development processes indirectly through the analysis of product data from the PDM databases. To educate and train PDA efficiently, this study proposed an approach that employs courses for both product development and PDA in a class. The participant group for product development provides a PDM database as a result of their product development activities, and the other group for PDA analyses the PDM database and provides analysis result to the product development group who can explain causes of the result. The collaboration between the two groups can enhance the efficiency of the education and training course on PDA. This study also includes an application example of the approach to a graduate class on PDA and discussion of its result.

Nowadays, owing to the development of analysis techniques for PDA test, we can evaluate the serious damage of pile during driving in site. In this study, we checked the damage of pile by pulling it out after evaluation of the pile damage during driving by PDA testing. After that, almost damaged pile was checked and the outline depth of damage could be verified. To increase the quality of driven pile, we have to increase the number of PDA testing for drivability analysis with checking the damage especially for preliminary pile driving and dynamic load test for checking the bearing capacity and consider the application of driving by energy monitoring.

본 개발 시스템은 적외선 센서 네트워크 시스템을 통해 RS-232 통신 수신 데이터(각 인큐베이터의 온도, 습도)를 얻고, 각 채널 당 각각의 사람에 대한 감시 시스템이 작동된다. 이 감시 시스템은 TCP/IP 통신을 통한 PDA 뿐만이 아니라 개인용 컴퓨터에도 작동된다. 이 시스템은 LabVIEW와 PDA 모듈의 통신 함수에서 활성화되어 작동되며, 다른 도구를 이용하는 것보다 처리시간이 상당히 절약된다.

건설 프로젝트에서 단위작업별로 발생하는 노무자의 작업정보와 실적물량 정보는 다양한 건설정보로서 가공될 수 있고 해당 프로젝트의 성과측정 및 경영분석을 위한 근거자료로 활용될 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 PDA 및 바코드 기술을 활용하여 단위작업 중심의 노무자 작업정보 및 실적물량 정보를 수집하는 방법론을 제시하고 이를 가공하여 노무, 생산성, 공정관리에 활용할 수 있는 건설 프로젝트 정보관리 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 시스템은 건설 프로젝트의 정보관리에 있어 중요한 실적자료로서 해당 프로젝트의 성과 측정 및 향후 유사 프로젝트의 공사계획에 유용한 정보로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

본 연구는 산림에서 개인휴대 단말기(PDA)를 기반으로 수치지형도와 GPS를 활용하여 산림지리정보를 활용할 수 있는 소프트웨어를 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 산림지리정보 소프트웨어의 주요 내용과 그 특징은 다음과 같다. 산림지리정보검색 소프트웨어는 PocketPC 2002/2003 운영체계에서 작동하도록 하였다. PDA의 표시 화면은 DXF형식의 1:25,000 수치지형도를 PC에서 변환하여 활용하며, PDA에 표시하는 지도데이터는 1:2,500에서 1:30,000까지 5단계로 확대, 축소 표시가 가능하도록 제작하였다. GPS에서 수신한 위치정보 및 이동 경로정보를 화면에 나타내고 저장할 수 있도록 하였다. DXF형식의 수치지형도의 레이어 중 선택한 정보를 본 시스템에서 활용이 가능한 이진파일 형식으로 변환하는 소프트웨어를 제작하였다. 이를 활용하여 DXF 파일 크기 대비 90%이상 압축이 가능하였고, PDA의 처리 속도를 크게 향상시켰다. 산림지리정보검색 소프트웨어는 sub menu 기능과 grid index를 활용하여 GPS에서 수신된 위치정보와 함께 산림조사 자료입력 소프트웨어와 연동하여 표본점의 관리에 활용이 가능하도록 하였다. 산림작업자가 현장에서 필요한 임상, 소유, 위치, 임도, 사방댐, 시설물 설계도 등 산림지리정보를 현장에서 즉시 검색이 가능하도록 하였다. 산림지리정보검색 소프트웨어는 지리정보 표시기능과 정보검색기능을 이용하여, 일반인들의 등산, 관광, 유적지 답사 등에 현재 위치 및 이동 경로에 관한 정보를 제공할 수 있도록 제작하였다.
