  • Objectives : The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of acupuncture stimulation on the relationship of change in magnetocardiography (MCG). Methods : For this purpose, 30 heart deficiency volunteers were acupunctured at Shinmun (HA7) and Naegwan (PC6) acupoint. Then, we measured and observed the change of frequency parameters in MCG. Results : In the mean frequency, during and after acupuncture treated groups of PC6 were decreased the activity of $f\;_{mean-max}$ compared to the control group. In the median frequency, during the acupuncture treated group of PC6 was decreased the activity of $f\;_{median-max}$ compared to the control group. Conclusion : These results suggested that acupuncture stimulation plays an important role to the activities of MCG.

Stages of Anxiety disorder are discussed in various aspects. 2. Diagnostic criteria and evaluation criteria were the same, especially, in the CCMD and HAMA was used most frequently. Adverse effects were reported using TESS. 3. There are various ways, such as Herbal medicine, acupuncture, electroacupuncture stimulation, acupoints injection, and abdominal massage therapy to treat Anxiety disorders in TCM. 4. Zizyphus jujuba, Poligala tenuifolia, Poria cocos are mainly used in herbal medicine. Sinmun(HT7), Sameumgyo(SP6), Naegwan(PC6) are mainly used in acupuncture points. 5. The treatment group, cured by herbal medicine or acupuncture, was similar in its therapeutic efficiency to that of the control group, which was cured by western medicine. • Objectives : This study was executed in order to evaluate the effects of electroacupuncture on upper-extremity spasticity control in stroke patients. Methods : Eighteen patients with stroke were enrolled and classified into two groups, the study and control group. The control group did not receive any oriental medical treatment. In the study group, the electroacupuncture points were applied to Kokt'aek (PC3) and $Ch'{\u{o}}ch'{\u{o}}n$ (PC2), Naegwan (PC6) and $Ch'{\u{o}}kt'aek$(LU5) of the affected limb. H-reflexl M-response ratio (HIM ratio), modified Ashworth scale (MAS) and Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment (FMA) were used for evaluation of spasticity control before electroacupuncture, within two hours after electroacupuncture, and at two weeks. Results : In MAS, the study group declined more than the control group. but there was no statisticallysignificant consideration. In H/M ratio. the study group was more efficient than the control group. and spasticity decreased successively during the series in the study group. In FMA, motor function in the study group improved more than in the control group and motor function in the study group increased successively during the series. Conclusions : These results showed that electro acupuncture was a useful method to decrease upper-extremity spasticity in patients with stroke. Further studies are needed to explore more cases and the long-lasting carryover effects on upper-extremity spasticity in electroacupuncture.

  • Objective : Gastic cancer has become major cancers which cause nausea, vomiting. Especially patients with terminal stage of gastric cancer may suffer from nausea, vomiting and other symptoms that can keep patients from taking medicine or food. In those cases, there may be no use of taking herbal medicine to treat or palliate symptoms. So we wanted to know the potential efficiency of Acupuncture and Moxibustion whether they could control the symptoms of terminal stage of Gastric cancer without herbal medicine. Methods : Under the assumption that Acupuncture and Moxibustion may be effective for palliating nausea, vomiting on terminal stage of Gastric cancer, the following points were administrated SaGwan(Hapkok($LI_4$), Taechung($LR_3$)), Chok-Samli($ST_{36}$), Kongson($SP_4$), Naegwan($PC_6$) for Acupuncture, Chungwan($CV_{12}$) for Moxibustion. This observation was carried out on 11 patients with terminal stage of Gastric cancer. We reviewed medical records, specifically intake/output check with vomiting, nausea. Results : After therapy of Acupunture and Moxibustion, there were 22% of complete responses, 46% of major responses and 32% of failures. Therapy resulted in 2 cases of goodness, 4 cases of fairness, 5 cases of badness as satisfaction degree. Unfortunately 2 cases of badness expired. Conclusion : We have concluded that Acupunture and Moxibusiton therapy were effective to palliate the nasea, vomiting of terminal Gastric cancer. So if Gastric cancer develop difficulties of taking medicine with patients, to consider using the methods of Acupunture and Moxibution is worthy to palliate the nausea, vomiting and so on.

Result 1.In philological study paper, cerebrovascular dementia is most common type of dementia and age, sex, past history have influence on the attack of disease. Introduced medical treatment to dementia of Korean medicine are Removing wind(祛風), Be in the peace(安神), Refreshing lung and raising blood(淸肺養血) etc. 2.According to the research paper, a prognosis of dementia which Is mixed(Alzheimer type and cerebrovascular type) is bad. Sinmac(申脈)-BL.62), Jeohae(照海)-Kl.06), waegwan(外關)-TE.05), naegwan(內關)-PC.6) among the palmacgyohoeheol(八脈交會穴) have good effect in medical treatment. Medical treatment which is based on chaejil(體質)) shows up to be more effective. Also many medicines have good effect, especially chongmyung-tang(聰明湯)) and chongmyung-tang-gamibang(聰明湯加味方)) have good effect on decreasing memory caused by nerve cell degeneration.
