Purpose: The main theme of this study is to derive a specific quality loss function with multiple characteristics according to the same analytical structure as the single characteristic quality loss function of Taguchi. In other words, it presents an analytical framework for measuring quality costs that can be controlled in practice. Methods: This study followed the analytical methodology through geometric, linear algebraic, and statistical approaches Results: The function suggested by this study is as follows; $$L(x_1,x_2,{\cdots},x_t)={\sum\limits_{i=1}^{t}}k_i\{x_i+{\sum\limits_{j=1}^{t}}\({\rho}_{ij}{\frac{d_i}{d_j}}\)x_j\}x_i$$ Conclusion: This paper derived the quality loss function with multiple quality characteristics to expand the usefulness of the Taguchi quality loss function. The function derived in this paper would be more meaningful to estimate quality costs under the practical situation and general structure with multiple quality characteristics than the function by linear algebraic approach in response surface analysis.

작약의 지방수집종 1,510계통 중에서 선발된 97계통의 주요 특성을 조사 분석한 다음 Q 상관에 의해서 계통분류한 결과 97계통에서 주당엽수, 엽폭, 엽병장, 화사수, 주두수, 화판수. 화장, 개화기 등의 8개 형질에서 계통들 간에 변이계수가 21.3 - 127.1%로 상당히 큰 것으로 나타났다. 97계통 중 외부 형질이 유망한 22계통의 염색체수는 2n=10으로 계통간에 염색체수의 이상을 발견할 수 없었다. 97계통의 16개 양적형질에 대한 Q 상관관계를 분석한 결과 14개 계통군으로 분류되었고, 제III군과 제VI군은 다시 각각 2개의 아군으로 분류되었다. 제 I 군은 홑꽃계통으로 화폭과 화장이 큰 대륜종이며, 제 $III_a$군은 화판수가 많은 겹꽃계통이었다. 제VII군은 가장 늦게 개화하는 만생종 계통군이며, 제IX군은 개화일이 5월 17일로 가장 빠른 조생종 계통군이었다. 제VIII군은 경장과 엽장이 제일 짧은 왜성게통으로 분식용으로 적합하며, 제 XIII 군은 주당엽수가 많으며 엽장과 엽폭이 큰 대엽계통이었다. 제X 군은 전형적인 피침형의 엽형태를 갖고 있으나 제XII군은 엽폭이 가장 넓은 란형의 엽형태를 갖고 있었다.

Sung et al. [13] obtained a WLLN (weak law of large numbers) for the array $\{X_{{ni},\;u_n{\leq}i{\leq}v_n,\;n{\leq}1\}$ of random variables under a Cesaro type condition, where $\{u_n{\geq}-{\infty},\;n{\geq}1\}$ and $\{v_n{\leq}+{\infty},\;n{\geq}1\}$ large two sequences of integers. In this paper, we extend the result of Sung et al. [13] to a martingale type p Banach space.

In discriminant analysis, we consider an intraclass correlation pattern by principal component analysis. We assume that the two populations are equally likely and the costs of misclassification are equal. In this situation, we consider two procedures, i.e., the test and proportion procedures, for selecting the principal components in classifica-tion. We compare the regular classification method and the proposed two procedures. We consider two methods for estimating error rate, i.e., the leave-one-out method and the bootstrap method.

영상을 텍스처와 같은 성질의 영역으로 세그멘트 함으로써 새로운 very low bit rate 세그멘테이션 영상코딩 기술을 제안한다. 영역은 Human Visual System(HVS) 과 프락탈 특성을 이용하여 3 가지의 다른 텍스처 크래스(인간이 인지한 상 인텐셔티 (크라스 I), 부드러운 텍스처 (크라스 II) 및 거칠은 텍스처 (크리스 III) 중 1 가지로 구분한다. Very low bit rate 영상코더를 설계하기 위해 각각의 텍스처 크라스에 대해 nonoverlap과 overlap 세그멘테이션 방법을 결정하는 것이 중요하다. 좋은 화질을 갖는 재생영상은 여러 종류의 영상에 대해서 약 0.10에서 0.21비트/피셀에서 얻는다.

This study was conducted from September 1, 1994 to December 12, 1994 to investigate the leaf color characteristics, flowering period and fruit period of Wild plants in Suwon and Taejon area. The results were as follows; 1. By using the chlorophyll meter, the chlorophyll content of Liriope platyphylla, Trifolium repens, Dystaenia takeshimana was 30.0, 22, 2 and 19.0, respectively on December 9, 1994. 2. By leaf color based on KBS standard color number, Liriope piatyphylla, Trifolium repens, Dvstoenia takeshirnana were green till December 9, 1994. 3. The flowers of Aster sea ber, Atractylodes japonica, Allium thunbergii, Liriope platyphylla, Scilla scilloides, Digitaria sanguinalis, Sanguisorba officinalis were persisting till September, and the flowers of Crysanthemum boreale were persisted till November and Allium thunbergii, till October.

본 연구는 비만과 노화가 동시에 유발된 흰쥐에서 12주간의 트레드밀 운동과 L-arginine의 투여가 복부지방량, GH, IGF-I, somatostatin, fibrinogen, PAI-1에 미치는 영향을 관찰하고 이를 개선하는데 더욱 효과적인 방법을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 단독 처치 군과 복합 처치 군으로 나누어 실험하여 그 효과를 비교, 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 복부지방량은 통제집단에 비해 모든 집단에서 유의하게 감소하였다($p$<0.01). 2. AG+EX, AG+LA+EX집단에서 통제집단에 비해 GH의 혈중 농도가 유의하게 높게 나타났다($p$<0.1). 3. AG+EX, AG+LA+EX집단에서 통제집단에 비해 IGF-I의 혈중 농도가 유의하게 증가하였다($p$<0.01).

참취, Doellingeria scabra Thunb. (이전의 학명: Aster scaber Thunb.)는 국화과의 다년생 초본으로 한국의 야생산지에서 흔히 찾을 수 있다. 본 연구는 강원도 태백시 매봉산에 분포하는 참취의 국지적 집단에 대해 패치 특성을 측정하고자 하였다. 이 종의 공간적 분포를 평가하기 위해 분산의 지수, Lloyd 평균 군집도, Morisita 지수 등을 통해 자료를 분석했다. 참취 집단의 평균 밀도는 2.94이었다. 참취는 작은 규모의 플롯에서는 일정한 분포 또는 임의 분포를 하였고, 두 개의 큰 규모 플롯($16{\times}32m^2$와 $32{\times}32m^2$)에서는 응집 형태로 분포했다. 평균 밀집도($M^*$)는 0.916이었다. 평균 patchiness index (PAI)는 0.796이었다. Morisita의 계수는 플롯 크기가 커짐에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 이 집단에서 Eberhardt 지수(IE)의 예상 값은 2.623이었다. 참취의 Moran's I 값에서 처음 5개 구간은 양의 값이었다. 그 중 4개는 유의성을 나타내어 개체간 유사성은 8 m 이내에서 발생한다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 매봉의 참취군락뿐만 아니라 다른 산의 산림 생태계 내 참취 군락의 지속 가능한 유지 및 복원에 대한 이론적 근거를 제공할 수 있다.

Objectives : This study was designed to evaluate on the effects of the Carthami semen Cervi pomtotrichum cornu Hominis placenta aquacupuncture on the osteoporosis in the rats Materials and Methods : In order to induce estrogen deficient osteoporosis, ovariectomy was done on rats. Then aquacupunctures were injected into the pai shu points corresponding to urinary bladder meridian of human body in experimental groups. And such indexes were measured as the change of body weight, bone mineral density, histological change of tibia, and levels of osteocalcin, bone alkaline phosphatase, calcium, phosphorus in serum. Results : 1. Significant changes of trabecular area % in epiphysis of tibia were shown between control group and experimental group II and between experimental group I and group II. 2. Significant changes of trabecular area % in diaphysis of tibia were shown between control and experimental groups. 3. Significant changes of serum osteocalcin were shown between control group and experimenta group I . 4. Significant changes of levels of serum bone alkaline phosphatase were shown between control group and experimental group I and II. Conclusions : The Carthami semen Cervi pomototrichum cornu Hominis placenta aquacupuncture is effective to estrogen deficient osteoporosis, ovariectomy was done on rats.

Neisseria lactamica 2118 의 $\beta$-galactosidase 유전자를 Southern Hybridization 과 colony hybridization을 통하여 Escherichia coli MC 1061에 클로닝 시켰다. $\beta$-Galactosidase 유전자를 함유하는 6.5 Kb EcoR I 단편과 7.2 Kb BamH I 단편들을 pMC 1871의 lac Z 유전자를 probe로 한 Southern hybridization으로 얻고 이들을 pBR 322에 삽입한후 Escherichia coli MC 1061에 형질전환 시키고 이들 형질전환체들을 동일 probe로 colony hybridization 시켜 최종적으로 3주의 $\beta$-galactosidase positive clone들을 얻었다. 이들의 재조합 plasmid에는 Neisseria lactomica 2118 염색체 DNA의 약 7.2Kb BamH I 단편이 삽입되어 있음을 확인 하였고 probe와 상동성이 가장 강한것으로 추정되는 pNL 24에 대한 제한효소지도를 작성 하였다.
