Relations Between the Types of Communication and, Job Satisfaction and Nursing Performance in Staff Nurses (일반간호사의 조직 내 의사소통 유형과 직무만족 및 간호업무성과의 관계)

  • This study attempts to investigate the relations between the types of communication, the job satisfaction. and the nursing performance of the staff nurses. The subjects of this study were the 114 nurses working in general wards, intensive care units, and the emergency rooms of the general hospital in Kyongbuk province. They were asked to answer the questionnaires as regards the types of communication and job satisfaction, and their performance of nursing, and these were evaluated by the head nurses, and their direct seniors. The data were collected for 10 days from the September 17 to 26, 2002. According to the purpose of the study, descriptive analysis, ANOVA. Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression were applied for the data analysis using SPSS 10.0. The results are as follows : 1. The types of communication of staff nurses showed that the upward communication was $3.12\pm0.56$. the downward communication was $3.56\pm0.42$. the horizontal communication was $2.98\pm0.44$. and the informal communication was $2.59\pm0.49$. It showed that the most frequent communication was the downward communication. 2. In terms of the job satisfaction, there was significant difference according to the length of the period working for one ward (F=5.95, p=0.003), 3. The performance of nursing was significantly different according to the age (F=23.52, p=0.000), the working duration as a nurses (F=21.9, p=0.000), the types of nursing unit (F=5.33, p=0.002), and the working duration in present nursing unit (F=15.87, p=0.000). 4. In terms of communication type, the job satisfaction was associated with quality of the upward communication (F=6.23, p=0.003), the downward communication (F=5.78, p=0.004), and the horizontal communication (F=11.73, p=0.000) There were no association between the types of communication and the performance of nursing. 5. There was a positive correlation between the communication and the job satisfaction. And the downward communication (r=0.398) showed the greatest correlation with the job satisfaction. There was no statistically significant correlation between the communication and the performance of nursing. And the upward communication (r=-0.058) showed a negative, though not significant correlation with performance of nursing. 5. Design of Social Network P2P System based on Agent (에이전트 기반 소셜 네트워크 P2P 시스템 설계)

  • In the past several years there has been increasing the studies using P2P technology in the distributed system areas. In these P2P systems, the server to support the contents-information have less overloads than the composed system as the server to have resources generally. In this paper, we propose the system to support a social network P2P service based on the social network P2P system. The object of this study was to widen the use of this menu system to determine the price based on visual information by a software agent. Therefore, this system is suitable for micro, small and medium industries in the use of P2P servers and is more usable system interface for owners than previous study.

In this paper, we propose the system to support a menu based on the social network P2P system. The object of this study was to widen the use of this menu system to determine the price based on visual information. This system is based on previous research, showing excellent success rate. Therefore, this system is suitable for micro, small and medium industries in the use of P2P servers. This system is more usable than previous study.

  • Generally, the current commercial cloud system is hosted by the centralization large datacenter. However, the other clouding forms existed and one of them is the P2P cloud. The P2P Cloud is a distributed systems, is freedom to join and leave and is possible to provide the IaaS. Commonly, P2P Cloud System is based on Pure-P2P System. Since a number of connection paths exist, it has a high reliability and easily scalability of the network. However, there are disadvantages of the slow rate of route because of looking up the all peers in order to search for the peer. In this paper, it proposes the P2P cloud system based on super-peer P2P. Super-peer P2P system has fast routing time, because of searching for cluster unit and it also can has high reliability and high scalability. We designs the super Peer cloud service and proposes the system model and Resource Allocation Algorithm for IaaS in Super peer P2P environment.

The Relationship among Smartphone addiction, Communication ability, Loneliness and Interpersonal relationship for university students (대학생의 스마트폰 중독, 의사소통 능력, 외로움, 대인관계 건강 간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among smartphone addiction, communication ability, loneliness, and interpersonal relationships in university students in Korea. Between 15 and 31 May 2016, 263 subjects completed a questionnaire consisting of questions on smartphone addiction, communication ability, loneliness, and health of interpersonal relationships. Among smartphone addiction questions there were significant differences between genders (t = 2.350, p = 0.019) and educational grade (F = 3.313, p = 0.021). With regard to human relationship health, the scores for males were significantly higher than those for females (t = 2.337, p = 0.020). The smartphone addiction and human relationship health results were negatively correlated (r = -0.157, p = 0.011). In contrast, communication ability and human relationship health results were positively correlated (r = 0.581, p < 0.001). However, loneliness and human relationship health were not significantly correlated. The final multiple regression model explaining human relationship health included smartphone addiction (t = 2.753, p = 0.006), communication ability (t = 11.714, p < 0.001), and motivation for smartphone purchase (t = 2.125, p = 0.035) as independent factors. The final model explained 36.6% of the total variance. In order to improve university students' human relationship health, solutions for smartphone addiction and low communication skills are required. This results of this study can be used as a basis on which to develop a human relationship health intervention program.

  • The P2P technology is becoming a technology for receiving a service, such as the latest YouTube and Facebook. P2P technology can be easily downloaded to a large amount of multimedia content over a distributed environment. However, pictures, music, a large amount of multimedia content such as videos each user is unable to manage the content management operating smoothly because, Song communication processing overhead caused when the reception is likely to remain the problem. In this paper, we propose a convergence content management technique that provides a low communication overhead of the frequency of use of the convergence content when trying to provide a large amount of convergence content to users in a distributed environment. Our method can be used to select the appropriate frequency is high among the shared content on the P2P multimedia environments that are distributed across a frequency of use of the convergence content and provides the service. Experimental evaluation proposed method, the convergence content browsing speed than conventional techniques improved communication about 13.3% and reduced overhead to about 9.5%.

  • LINK16 is a system which is designed to maximize performance in a particular tactical environment with high levels of jamming. In this paper, transmission performance of synchronization pattern for cipher communication in aerial tactical communication link is presented. Transmission architecture of operating mode (standard DP, P2SP, P2DP, P4mode) in LINK16 network is discussed, and an effect of synchronization pattern, a quality of degraded effect of transmission communication for collision probability between hopping frequencies and fading channel in crypto communication is analyzed.

  • 최근 인터넷의 급속한 성장과 초고속 통신망의 구축으로 인하여 다양한 멀티미디언 서비스들이 제공되고 있다. 그러나 현재 대부분의 멀티미디어 서비스들은 클라이언트/서버 모델을 기반으로 구축되어 있기 때문에, 중앙 서버로의 과도한 부하가 집중되는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 수수 P2P 환경으로 구축된 멀티미디어 서비스 환경에서의 자원 검색 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 고정 에이전트를 기반으로 자원 검색을 수행하여 기존의 순수 P2P 환경에서의 검색 기법으로 인한 문제점을 해결한다. 또한, 시나리오를 통하여 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리즘의 구체적인 동작과정을 제시한다.

  • 개인 컴퓨터의 보급과 중앙집중식 처리의 한계로 인해 P2P 기술에 대한 관심이 부각됨에 따라 피어들에 대한 평판을 관리하는 방법들이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 피어들의 평가와 더불어 피어가 포함하는 아이템들에 대한 평가를 위한 모델을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 P2P 환경에서 아이템 공유를 위한 평판 관리 기법 과 악의 피어 검출 방법으로 구성된다. 제안하는 기법은 아이템을 공유하는 피어들 간에 악의 피어에 대한 정보를 상호 교환하여 악의 피어 검출의 정확성을 향상시킨다.

Efficient Peer-to-Peer File Sharing Using Network Coding in MANET

  • Mobile peer-to-peer (P2P) systems have recently got in the limelight of the research community that is striving to build efficient and effective mobile content addressable networks. Along this line of research, we propose a new peer-to-peer file sharing protocol suited to mobile ad hoc networks (MANET). The main ingredients of our protocol are network coding and mobility assisted data propagation, i.e., single-hop communication. We argue that network coding in combination with single-hop communication allows P2P file sharing systems in MANET to operate in a more efficient manner and helps the systems to deal with typical MANET issues such as dynamic topology and intermittent connectivity as well as various other issues that have been disregarded in previous MANET P2P researches such as addressing, node/user density, non-cooperativeness, and unreliable channel. Via simulation, we show that our P2P protocol based on network coding and single-hop communication allows shorter file downloading delays compared to an existing MANET P2P protocol.
