A Study on the Communication Styles and satisfaction between Adolescents and Mothers, Perceived by Adolescents (청소년기 자녀가 지각한 어머니와의 커뮤니케이션 유형 및 만족도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out significant factors which have effects on the communition styles and adolescents' satisfaction in communication through the investigation of the communication styles between adolescents and mothers and the degree of adolescents' satisfaction in communication. The subjects of this study were 44 high school students in Seoul Statistical methods emploid to analyze the data were percentage, frequency, mean, X2-test, F-test and multiple regression. The results were as follows; 1) The communication styles between adolescents and mothers were divided into 4 grpups, and the proportion of these 4 groups were mutual open style 40.3% mutual closed style 34.5%, adolescent closed-mother open style 13.1% and adolescent open-mother closed style 12.2%. 2) Factors influencing the communication styles were sex (p<.001), communication time (p<.001) and atomosphere of families(p<.001). 3) The degree of adolescents' satisfaction in communication were significantly different depending on the communication style (p<.001), sex (p<.001), communication time (p<.001) educational level of father (p<.05), employment status of mother (p<.05), atomosphere of famlies (p<.001) and economic condition of families (p<.001). 4) The most significant variables influencing the degree of adolescents' satisfaction were communication styles and the atomosphere of families. The groups using open communication styles were more satisfied with their communication that the groups using closed communication styles. The female adolescents were more sensitively influenced than male adolescents with these two variables.

Performance Optimization and Analysis on P2P Mobile Communication Systems Accelerated by MEC Servers

  • As a promising technique to support tremendous numbers of Internet of Things devices and a variety of applications efficiently, mobile edge computing (MEC) has attracted extensive studies recently. In this paper, we consider a MEC-assisted peer-to-peer (P2P) mobile communication system where MEC servers are deployed at access points to accelerate the communication process between mobile terminals. To capture the tradeoff between the time delay and the energy consumption of the system, a cost function is introduced to facilitate the optimization of the computation and communication resources. The formulated optimization problem is non-convex and is tackled by an iterative block coordinate descent algorithm that decouples the original optimization problem into two subproblems and alternately optimizes the computation and communication resources. Moreover, the MEC-assisted P2P communication system is compared with the conventional P2P communication system, then a condition is provided in closed-form expression when the MEC-assisted P2P communication system performs better. Simulation results show that the advantage of this system is enhanced when the computing capability of the receiver increases whereas it is reduced when the computing capability of the transmitter increases. In addition, the performance of this system is significantly improved when the signal-to-noise ratio of hop-1 exceeds that of hop-2.

  • P2P(Peer to Peer) 기술은 1990년대 후반기부터 산업계 및 학계에 주목을 받고 있는 기술 분야중의 하나로 이 기술의 장점은 인터넷 환경에 산재하여 있는 컴퓨팅 파워, 공간, 네트워크 대역을 인터넷 기반으로 효과적으로 활용하여 협력작업을 가능하게 한다는데 있다. 최근에는 모바일 환경 응용을 위한 P2P 디바이스 탐색 분야에 관심사가 증대되고 있으며, P2P 시스템은 중앙통제 장치가 결여 되어 있기 때문에 중앙통제 장치 개입을 최소로 하면서 P2P를 운영하기 위한 효율적인 기법 및 체계가 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 접근방법을 검토하여 FFNN(feed forward neural network)을 이용한 디바이스 탐색 기법을 제시한다. 제시한 FFNN은 BP(back propagation) 알고리즘을 통해 훈련하고 디바이스를 탐색한다. 제시한 시스템의 성능을 보이기 위해 일정한 계산량을 가지는 작업을 에이전트를 활용, 탐색된 디바이스간에 분배하여 처리한다. 본 논문에서는 제한된 자원을 가지는 디바이스 간에 P2P를 사용하는 기법에 대해 제시하였다.

  • In this paper we propose a fair and secure e-commerce model for P2P network, in which communication entities can buy and sell products by P2P contract. In particular, we focus on a fair transaction protocol that is based on a collaboration with distributed communication entities. This feature makes our model very attractive in P2P networking environment which does not depend on any central trusted authority for managing communication entities.

  • As the performance of the next-generation broadband wireless networks is dramatically enhanced, various services (i.e., education, Live video streaming, Live video conferencing, online games, etc.) have been provided to users through a smart mobile platform. Those services are usually provided by using the centralized communication server. However, since all multimedia traffic is exchanged through a communication server, it often has the scalability problem with regard to traffic management. Our main purpose is for group smart users to provide scalable live multimedia streaming service based on P2P network. To do this, we have designed an architecture of P2P-based service management for mobile group communication management and service management protocol. In order to verify the performance of the proposed scheme, we have mathematically analyzed the performance in terms of the average transmission delay and bandwid th utilization.

  • 최근 스마트 모바일 기기의 보급이 확산되면서 기존 유선 P2P기반의 서비스를 확장하여 무선 환경에서 이동 단말기를 대상으로 하는 모바일 P2P에 대한 서비스에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이동 P2P 환경에서 스카이라인 질의 처리를 효율적으로 수행하기 위해 로컬 스카이라인 병합을 이용한 효율적인 질의 처리 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 동적인 속성을 고려한 스카이라인 질의 처리를 위해 질의 피어를 중심으로 로컬 스카이라인을 생성한 후 배포함으로써 불필요한 피어에 대한 가지치기를 수행한다. 모든 피어들에 대한 스카이라인 집합을 병합하여 전체 영역에 대한 글로벌 스카이라인을 형성할 수 있다. 이와 같은 특성을 통해 제안하는 기법은 스카이라인 질의 처리 성능을 크게 향상시킨다.

  • 본 논문은 P2P 네트워크 환경에서 VOD 시스템의 새로운 프록시 캐싱 기법을 제안한다. P2P 환경에서 비디오 스트림을 그룹에 포함된 다수의 클라이언트에 저장하고, 이러한 클라이언트의 그룹을 Proxy로 활용하는 P2Proxy 기법을 제안한다. 우선 P2Proxy의 그룹에 포함된 클라이언트들과 서버간의 스트림이 전송되는 과정을 보였으며, 둘째 각 그룹의 생성과정과 서멸 과정에 대해 설명한다. 또한 클라이언트의 캐싱 정보를 공유하기 위한 디렉토리 구조를 기술하고 각 클라이언트의 참여 과정과 이탈과정을 보였다. 또 디렉토리 정보를 이용해 그룹에 참여한 다른 클라이언트의 정보를 계산하는 과정을 보였으며 이를 활용하여 재생과 전송 중에 메시지의 교환을 최소로 하도록 하였다. 제안된 P2Proxy 기법은 기존의 P2VoD 기법에 비하여 서버에 대한 부하의 요구량이 훨씬 작은 결과를 보였다.

The Effects of Parent-Adolescent Communication on Self-Concept and Problem Behavior (부모-자녀 의사소통이 청소년의 자아개념, 문제행동에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of parent- adolescent communication on self-concept and problem behavior of adolescents. Method: The participants in this study were 480 students from middle schools in Daejeon City. Data were collected from May 19 to 30, 2008 and analyzed using SPSS WIN 14.0 version. Result: The mean scores for communication with fathers and mothers were 2.98 and 3.35 respectively and for self-concept, 2.80. The highest reported percentage for problem behavior over the past year were going to the noraebang (Karoki) or videobang (PC Cafe) (78.6%). Significant differences were found for the influence of parent-adolescent communication on self-concept and problem behavior. Communication with fathers and with mothers was positive correlated (r=.365, p<.001). The difference in self-concept for communication with fathers was F=60.40, p<.001, and with mothers, F=51.74, p<.001 and for problem behavior, for communication with fathers, F=3.33, p<.05, and with mothers, F=10.05, p<.001. For self-concept and communication with fathers the correlation was r=.512, p<.001, with mothers, r=.453, p<.001 There was a negative correlation between self-concept and problem behavior(r=-.248, p<.001). Conclusion: This results suggest that practical parent-adolescent communication programs should be developed and applied to bolster communication of adolescents with their parents.

  • In the connected environment by network, clients shared resources as that requested the file that a server had, but P2P system is alternative because of the overload of servers. To improve the performance of this P2P system, we are studying about that. In this study, we can improve a usability for users using P2P search system, and suggest a group search algorithm based on a preprocessing search.

  • A P2P technology in distributed environments is very useful in the respect that persons to have resources efficiently share the resources. A P2P system is caused as follows : resource search, resource transmission, resource transmission again and then excessively occurred network traffic. To improve performance about this a lot of studies is proceeding. One of this various study's directions to improve performance is recently come to a field to improve usability as such person. At this point this study is proposed P2P group search algorithm to improve usability.
