5급 와동에서 수종의 상아질 접착제에 따른 미세누출의 비교 (THE COMPARISON OF MICROLEAKAGE OF CLASS V COMPOSITE RESIN RESTORATIONS WITH VARIOUS DENTIN BONDING SYSTEMS)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate microleakage of six current dentin bonding systems. In this in vitro study, class V cavities were prepared on buccal and lingual surfaces of thirty extracted human molars. Each margin was on enamel and dentin/cementum. Experimental teeth were randomly divided into six groups of 5 each. Group 1 : Scotchbond Multi-Purpose; Group 2 : Single Bond; Group 3 : Prime&Bond NT ; Group 4 : Clearfil Liner Bond 2 ; Group 5 : MAC Bond II ; Group 6 : One-up Bond F. The bonding agent and composite resin were applied to class V cavities according to manufacturer's directions. After thermocycling, the specimens were immersed in 0.5% basic fuchsin dye solution for 6 hours and sectioned longitudinally through the center of the restoration with a low speed diamond saw. The degree of microleakage was measured as the extent of dye penetration under the stereomicroscope at $\times$20. The data were analyzed using one way ANOVA. When significant differences found. multiple comparisons were made using Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. In all groups, leakage value seen at the enamel margin was significantly lower than that seen at the dentin margin(P<0.001). 2. At the enamel margin, none of the dentin bonding systems used in this study showed statistically significant difference in leakage values(P<0.05). 3. At the cementum margin, group 3 showed the highest leakage value, and others were decreased as group 5, 6, 4 in that order, and group 1, 2 showed the lowest leakage value. There was statistically significant difference between group 3 and the other groups except for group 5(P<0.05).

Purification and Charactedrization of Cysteine Desulfhydrase from Streptomyces albidoflavus SMF301

  • Cysteine desulfhydrase (EC 4.4.1.1.) was purified from the culture supernatant of Streptomyces albidoflavus SMF301 by hydroxyapatite, gel filtration and Resource Q ion-exchange chromatography with a purification fold of six identical subunits. The enzyme was stabilized by dithiothreitol and pyridoxal 5'-phosphate during the purification procedures. The optimum pH and temperature were pH 8.6 and 35$^{\circ}C$, respectively. The N-terminal amino acid sequence was identified as A-P-L-P-T-A-D-V-R-S-D-P-G-Y-R-E-W-L-G-E-A-V. The purified cystein desulfhydrase had a high substrate specificity toward cysteine, and exhibited no cystahionine $\gamma$-lyase activity. The $K_m$ value for cysteine was determined to be 0.37 mM.

SERKOWSKI'S EMPIRICAL RELATION FOR INTERSTELLAR LINEAR POLARIZATION VIEWED FROM DAVIS-GREENSTEIN ALIGNMENT MECHANISM

  • Although Serkowski used a single value K=1.15 in representing all the observed interstellar linear polarization curves by his empirical relation $p({\lambda})/P_{max}$=exp (-K $1n^2({\lambda}_{max}/{\lambda})$), where $p_{max}$ is the maximum polarization at wavelength ${\lambda}_{max}$, we have noticed a meaningful variation in K from observations of 72 stars. By comparing K's with $P_{max}/E_{B-V}\;and\;with\;{\lambda}_{max}$, we have examined how the shape of the polarization curve is related with the degree of grain alignment on one hand, and with grain sizes on the other. We have shown that correlations between K, $P_{max}/E_{B-V}\;and\;with\;{\lambda}_{max}$, are consistent with the idea of Davis-Greenstein mechanism for grain alignment.

  • In this paper, we study the following nonlinear problem: $$\{-\Delta_{p}^{3}(x)u\;=\;{\lambda}V_{1}(x){\mid}u{\mid}^{q(x)-2}u\;in\;{\Omega},\\u\;=\;{\Delta}u\;{\Delta}^{2}u\;=\;0\;on\;{\partial}\Omega, $$ under adequate conditions on the exponent functions p, q and the weight function V1. We prove the existence and nonexistence of eigenvalues for p(x)-triharmonic problem with Navier boundary value conditions on a bounded domain in ℝN. Our technique is based on variational approaches and the theory of variable exponent Lebesgue spaces.

포화 및 부분 포화 사질토의 Vp와 Vs 속도 및 과잉간극수압 측정을 위한 비틂전단 시험기의 개발 (Development of Torsional Shear Testing System to Measure P-wave Velocity, S-wave Velocity and Pore Water Pressure Buildup on Fully and Partially Saturated Sands)

  • 사질토의 액상화에 대한 저항 강도는 포화도에 상당히 의존한다. 압축파 속도는 현장에서 쉽게 측정이 가능하고 포화도의 영향을 크게 받기 때문에 현장 지반의 포화도를 예측하고자 할 때 효율적으로 사용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 시료의 포화가 가능하고 전단파, 압축파 속도 측정 및 비배수 상태에서 비틂전단 시험을 수행시 유발되는 과잉간극수압을 측정할 수 있는 비틂전단 시험기를 개발하였다. 토요라 모래에 대해 전단파, 압축파 속도 측정이 수행되고, 비배수 비틂전단 시험을 실시하였다. 포화도(B값)에 따른 시료의 전단파 속도 및 압축파 속도를 이론식과 비교하여 개발된 시험기를 검증하였으며, 여러 B값에서 비배수 TS 시험동안 유발되는 과잉 간극수압의 변화를 측정 분석하였다.

양안시 기능 이상의 시훈련(Visual Training)의 효과 (The Effects of Visual Training on Binocular Anomalies)

  • 본 연구는 V.T.(vision training)를 통해 융합 버전스의 개선이 되는지를 알아보기 위하여 8세 이상 45세 이하의 남자 138명, 여자 162명 총 300명을 대상으로 폭주 근점검사 (N.P.C), Von Graefe법을 이용한 사위검사와 원거리, 근거리 상대폭주력 검사를 측정하였다. 1. 폭주근점 검사의 결과에 의하면 7cm 이하의 근점을 가진 사람이 57명(19%), 7cm 또는 그 이상의 근점을 가진 사람이 243명(81%) 으로 나타났다. V.T후 폭주근점 검사에서는 7cm 이하였던 피검자가 57명에서 111명(37%) 으로 증가 하였으며, 7cm 이상 피검자는 243명에서 189명(63%)으로 현저히 줄었다. 2. Von Graefe 법에 의해 측정된 원거리 수평사위 검사값의 분포를 살펴보면 정위 18명(6%), 외사 198명(66%), 내사위 84명(28%)로 나타났다. 사위 측정후 N.R.C, P.R.C 검사를 실시하였고 V.T. 방법으로 B.I., B.O 카드 훈련을 통하여 기대치가 향상됨을 나타내었다. 3. Von Graefe 법에 의해 측정된 근거리 수평사위 검사값의 분포를 살펴보면 정위 6명(2%), 외사위 222명 (74%), 내사위 72명 (24%)로 나타났다. 원거리에서와 마찬가지 방법으로 실시하여 V.T.후 기대치가 향상됨을 나타내었다.

식이지방의 종류와 L-arginine 보충이 당뇨쥐의 ENdothelium 기능 및 체내 지질대사에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Dietary Fat Sources and L-arginine Supplementation on Endothelial function and Lipid Metabolism in Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats)

  • Alteration in the syntesis or enhanced inactivation of nitric oxide(NO) can induce impairment of endothelial cell function. Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus(IDDM) is characterized by impaired endothelial function and vascular disease. NO is produced through L-arginine pathway To elucidate the hypothesis that the decreased production on NO in IDDM reflects vascular damage and the NO production can be manipulated by either dietary fat(7% of kg diet) or the oral supplementation with L-arginine(2g/kg bw), plasma markers for vascular endothelial damage and plasma lipid profiles were measured in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic rats. Diabetic or normal Sprague-Dawley rats were fed 6 different experimental diets for 4 weeks(SO : soybean oil, SOA: soybean oil + L-arginine supplementation, BT : beef tallow, BTA_ beef tallow + L-arginine supplementation, OV olive oil, OVA : olive oil + L-arginine supplementation). Plasma glucose, total cholesterel, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol and triglyceride were measured. Endothelial markers, plasma von Willebrand factor(vWf), thromboxane B$_2$, and 6-keto PGF1$\alpha$ of aorta were measured by ELISA. Plasma NO production was evaluated through the measurement of nitrite by EIA. Feeding saturated fatty acid(SFA, BT) increased relative liver size(RLS) in diabetic rats compared to either polyunsatunted fatty acid(PUFA, SO) or monounsaturated fatty acid(MUFA, OV) The supplementation of L-arginine inhibited the liver and kidney enlargement in olive oil find diabetic rats. Plasma glucose was lower in diabetic animal find the olive oil compared to fed beef tallow and the supplementation L-arginine decreased it in diabetic rats find beef tallow significantly(p < 0.05). Plasma TXB$_2$ levels were increased due to diabetes and the value of beef tallow group showed highest value. Plasma vWf concentration of beef tallow group was higher value in normal rats and was elevated more in diabetes. In diabetic groups, the vWf concentration of olive oil group was lower than beef tallow or soybean oil group. The supplementation of L-arginine in diabetic rats decreased plasma TXB$_2$ and vWf levels significantly(p < 0.05). NO production was higher in normal olive oil fed rats and was tend to be decreased in diabetic rats and the supplementation of L-arginine recovered to normal value(p < 0.05), Olive oil supplemented with L-arginine tended to lower plasma total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol after 4 week treatment. These results suggest that generalized vascular endothelial changes based on plasma TXB$_2$and vWf occurs in diabetic rats. and olive oil with L-arginine supplementation contributes to a better control of the hyperglycemia, endothelial changes and hypercholesterolemia accompanying diabetes as compared with beef tallow or soy bean oil in this rat model.

오미자약주 제조 및 품질특성 (Brewing and Quality Characteristics of Schisandra chinensis Yakju)

  • 약주의 소비증대와 품질증진을 위해 오미자(Schisandra chinensis) 과실을 0-20% 농도 별로 약주에 첨가하여 발효를 통한 품질증진에 미치는 효과를 연구하였다. 당농도와 알코올 생성량은 오미자 첨가구와 무첨가구에서 유사한 경향을 나타났다. pH는 무첨가구가 4.17로 가장 높았고, 오미자 첨가비율이 증가함에 따라 최종 3.57-3.90로 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 유기산은 citric acid가 무첨가구에서 9.22 mg/100 mL, 오미자 첨가구에서 161.38-634.96 mg/100 mL 검출되었다. 무첨가구에 비하여 오미자 첨가구에서 약 17.50-68.87배로 높은 비율로 함유되어 있으며, citric acid는 오미자 첨가구의 pH에 농도 의존적으로 영향을 주기 때문에 농도가 높은 오미자 첨가구의 pH가 가장 낮은 값을 가진 것과 연관이 있는 것을 확인하였다. 무첨가구의 색도는 명도 18.31, 적색도 -0.58 및 황색도 -0.38을 나타내었으며, 오미자 첨가구는 명도 13.55-15.14, 적색도 0.12-5.16 및 황색도 -0.78-0.02로 오미자 첨가로 인해 어두운 색조로 바뀌었으나 적색도가 증가하여 관능적인 요인을 향상시켰다.

혼합과채쥬스 특성에 미치는 여러 인자의 영향 (Effect of Several Factors on the Characteristics of Six-Vegetable and Fruit Juice)

  • Preparative conditions and characteristics of six-vegetable and fruit juice were studied for the effects of mixing ratio, heat treatment and addition of sugar, salt and organic acid. The vegetables and fruit used were carrot(Ct), cabbage(Cg), pear(Pr), cucumber(Cr), celery(Cy) and dongchimi(Di). From the sensory results of mixing ratio of three of binary mixtures of Cg-Pr(1:3):Ct-Di(1:4):Cr-Cy(3:1), two ratios of 5.0:2.5:2.5(V-6A) and 6.0:2.0:2.0(V-6B) were suggested optimal for six-vegetable and fruit juice. Addition of 2% sucrose and 0.3% NaCl improved the preference significantly. The pH 4.0 for V-6A and pH 3.5 for V-6B were more prefered when pH was adjusted by citric acid. Heating the juice at $100^{\circ}C$ for 100 minutes slightly decreased pH and increased the acidity. Total solids and viscosity were also decreased by heating. All of those changes were more significant in V-6B than V-6A, probably due to lower pH. Heating the juice resulted in a slight decrease in L value and an increase in a and b values. Heating at $100^{\circ}C$ caused an increase in moldy flavor and a decrease in fresh vegetable flavor while heating at $80^{\circ}C$ for 20 minutes changed them little.

전기분해수 침지처리 박피연근의 랩 및 진공포장 저장 중의 품질변화 (Quality Changes in Peeled Lotus Roots Immersed in Electrolyzed Water Prior to Wrap- and Vacuum-Packaging)

  • 수도수(TW)와 0.5% sodium metabisulfite(0.5% SMS)를 대조구로 하고 강산성 전기분해수(SAEW: strong acidic electrolyzed water, pH 2.58, ORP 1,128 mV, HClO 105.0 ppm)와 약알칼리 전기분해수(LAEW: law alkaline electrolyzed water, pH 8.56, ORP 660 mV, HClO 73.8 mV)를 연근의 박피 후 침지액으로 하여 랩포장과 진공포장하여 $5^{\circ}C$ 저장 중 품질 변화를 비교.검토하였다. 0.5% SMS와 전기분해수 침지로 TW 침지 박피 연근에 비해 1 log cyle의 초기 균수 감소 효과와 저장중 상대적으로 낮은 균수를 나타내었다. 침지 처리에 의한 초기 및 저장중 경도의 차이를 나타내었으며 뚜렷한 PPO 활성을 저해하는 효과는 확인할 수 없었다. 전기분해수 침지로 표면색도와 색차는 0.5% SMS 침지와 유사한 억제 효과를 나타내었고 관능적 특성의 변화에서도 TW 침지 박피 연근에 비해 0.5% SMS 침지 박피 연근과 전기분해수 박피 연근이 다소 높게 평가되었다. 포장 방식에 있어서는 랩포장에 비해 진공포장이 품질 유지에보다 효과적이었다.
