해외 사례를 통한 지상조업 품질 개선방안 연구 (Improvement of Ground Handling Service Quality through Overseas Cases)

  • There is concern about the increased risk of accidents from manual investments due to ground handling service operators, aging equipment and manpower shortages. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of ground treatment services and safety management at the airport. Therefore, this study analyzed the domestic and overseas ground operation status and the license handling procedure of aircraft handling business. In addition, a case study on the evaluation system of international organizations examined the applicability of the certification body to the Korean situation. It is practical in that it provides policy implications for improving the quality of groundwork not covered in previous studies. This is expected to improve the constitution, improve quality, improve airport operations, and operate safely.

Sources of Infection Among Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Jeju Province, Korea

  • Objectives: Jeju Province in Korea reported 627 coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases between January 20, 2020, and March 31, 2021. This study analyzed the sources of infection among confirmed cases in Jeju Province, a self-governed island. Methods: The sources of infection were broadly categorized as follows: (1) infections from overseas (confirmed patients who reported travel overseas or contact with overseas travelers); (2) infections from outside Jeju Province (confirmed patients who had visited other provinces or had contact with individuals who had traveled to other provinces in Korea); and (3) unknown sources of infection (confirmed patients who were infected following contact with an infected person whose source of infection was unknown). The chi-square test was used to analyze the differences in the distributions of related variables for each source of infection. Results: Of the 627 confirmed cases, 38 (6.1%) were infections from overseas sources, 199 (31.7%) were from outside of Jeju Province, and 390 (62.2%) were from unknown sources. Jeju Province had no cases with an unknown source of infection during the first and second waves of the nationwide outbreak. Conclusions: Infections from overseas sources could be blocked from spreading to local communities in Jeju Province by conducting screening at the airport, along with the preemptive suspension of visa-free entry. In addition, considering the scale of the nationwide outbreak, measures must be established to delay outbreaks from unknown sources of infection caused by sources outside Jeju Province.

고무 퇴적물에 의한 공항 활주로 표면 마찰계수 변화 (Variation of Friction Coefficient of Airport Runway Surface by Rubber Deposits)

  • 본 논문에서는 국내 공항 활주로에 적합한 마찰계수 측정 및 고무 퇴적물 제거에 대한 합리적 기준 개발을 위해 관련 해외 기준 및 연구결과에 관한 문헌을 조사하였다. 그리고 2007년 8월부터 2009년 7월까지ASFT(Airport Surface Friction Tester)장비를 이용하여 인천국제공항 활주로의 마찰계수를 측정하고 항공기 집중 착륙 지점에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 타이어 고무의 퇴적 및 제거에 따른 마찰계수의 변화를 분석하였고 이에 미치는 계절적 영향을 포장 형식별로 조사하였다. 고무 퇴적물 제거 작업을 주기적으로 수행해도 활주로 표면의 마찰계수는 장기적으로 시간에 따라 점차 감소되는 것으로 확인되었다. 여름철 마찰계수의 변화가 다른 계절에 비해 컸으며 아스팔트 포장이 콘크리트 포장보다 계절적 영향에 민감했다. 매크로한 표면조직을 갖는 아스팔트 포장의 마찰계수가 마이크로한 표면조직을 갖는 재령 초기 콘크리트 포장의 마찰계수보다 큰 것으로 나타났다. 타이어 고무의 퇴적 및 제거에 따른 마찰계수의 변화도 아스팔트 포장에서 더 큰 것으로 확인되었다.

도심권 공항 터미널 환경 개선을 위한 빅 데이터 기반의 항공수요예측 (Big Data-Based Air Demand Prediction for the Improvement of Airport Terminal Environment in Urban Area)

  • 2018년 국토교통부의 통계에 따르면, 연평균 항공교통이용자만 국내선 5.07%, 국제선 8.84%가 증가하였다. 한류의 열풍으로 인해 지속적인 외국인 관광객의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 동시에 개인의 삶의 질을 중요시하는 새로운 생활 문화가 자리잡아가고 있으며 이와 더불어 저가 항공사의 출현으로 인해 내국인의 해외 관광 또한 증가하고 있다. 따라서 효율적이고 정확한 항공 수요예측을 진행하여 체계적인 공항 인프라를 조성하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 빅 데이터(big data)를 기반으로 하여 도심권 공항의 국내선 및 국제선 장기 수요예측을 진행하였다. 국내선의 경우 2028년 이후 인구 감소에 따라 공항이용객이 다소 감소할 것이며, 국제선은 GDP증가에 따라 지속적으로 증가할 전망이다. 따라서 미래의 항공수요에 대처하기 위해서는 국내 공항의 여객터미널 개선 및 확충이 절실하다.

인천국제공항 이용 중국여객의 권역별 서비스 인식 및 행동특성에 관한 연구 (Study of Regional Differences Between Attitudes Toward Service and Behavior of Chinese Passengers Using Incheon International Airport)

  • Ever since the permission of overseas travel by the Chinese government in 1983, the Chinese outbound travel market has been growing at an expanding rate. The Republic of Korea has been able to reap great benefits from this growth, and this has been noticeable especially in the aviation market. Chinese passengers count for 23.9% of the total passengers at Incheon International Airport (IIA), and it is no doubt Chinese passengers will remain important customers for IIA. Given the fact that China has such a huge territory and possesses a population of more than 1.3 billion, there rises the need to divide China into smaller regions. By doing so, the different thoughts Chinese passengers have, and the actions they show in terms of travel and airport service consumption according to differing regions can be figured out. With knowledge of the differences, IIA can provide different services to fit Chinese passengers from differing regions, hence increasing the total consumer value and satisfaction rate of IIA. This study has divided China into 5 different regions according to official regional recognition of China, and difference of economical, social factors, etc... With the results obtained from this study, different strategies can be implemented for the 5 regions.

공항운영기업의 전사적 위험관리체계 분석 연구 (A study on the development of Enterprise Risk Management System in Airport Corporation)

  • Enterprise Risk Management(ERM) is aiming at the establishment of the risk management process to prevent and cope with risks in advance and is composed of Risk Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Response and Monitoring. It is feedback through the Risk Re-identification. This study has analysed a sample of the risk management system of an airport operating corporation, for this purpose, relevant documents and examples of overseas airports have been reviewed. It has found that corporations establishing ERM have been performing identical procedures such as the process of Identification, Assessment, Effective Reporting, Communication and monitoring and so on. The A corporation has established the process for risk management and crisis management and organized for its organization and system. The risk management has the same process such as above. In this process, when the symptoms of critical crisis have been recognized, it has been transformed into crisis management system, through which, corporate-wide response has been conducted in the process of crisis status analysis, response and follow-up management. This study expects to contribute to systematic foundation for future business continuity on the basis of risks and response procedures acknowledged by this study.

환경 인지적 접근에 의한 인천국제 공항철도 역사시설 환경설계에 관한 연구 (Study on Interior Environment Design of Incheon International Airport Railroad Station in a Way of Environment Recognition Approach)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the relationship between the results of the analysis of the overseas railroad station buildings, which was conducted using the factors of environmental cognition for the purpose of designing an interior environment for the Incheon International Airport Railroad station that will be newly constructed, and the plan that could be applied to the design of interior environment for the airport railroad station. The station with a complex interior space layout and relatively larger space tends to be difficult to predict or forecast passenger's needs or recognition element in approaching stage of intoner environment design since the human's biological memory system is greatly affected by such factors. Cognitive approach at empirical standpoint would possibly create the design, of which elements will Implement the functions of their own as such approach enables necessary information to be structured in a systematical way and manner In implementing interior environment design for such stations to be built for the first time in Korea, behavioral approach based on systematic theory proved to be very crucial. Under such a background, the study was aimed at extracting the assessment elements for interior environment design, then setting the frame of cognitive approach to eventually propose the guideline in approaching to interior environment design.

통관거점을 이용한 국제물류의 지역구조 (Regional Structure of International Physical Distribution through Clearance Depot)

  • 본 연구는 내륙지방에 입지한 청주세관을 사례로 통관거점을 이용한 국제물류의 지역간 결합과 지역구조를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 청주내륙통관거점의 무역은 관할 배후지에 입지한 공업의 특색을 반영한다. 화물의 발착지는 수출입지로서, 특히 일본, 중국, 미국과의 거래가 탁월하다. 청주세관 관할지역의 화물 발착지는 인천공항과 부산항의 배후지와 지향지가 되며, 수출의 경우 부산항의 지향지가 넓고, 수입의 경우는 인천공항과 부산항의 배후지가 거의 비슷하다. 청주 내륙통관거점은 신속하고 저렴한 비용의 수출입 체제를 구축하고 있는데, 개개 기업의 화물의 종류나 기업의 물류체계가 다른 특성을 나타내고 있다. 국제물류의 지역구조는 하주기업이 각각 수출입화물에 대하여 독자적인 물류체제를 구축하는데, 보세공장과 보세창고에서 수출하는 형태로 크게 나누어진다. 보세창고에 의한 형태는 다시 해외생산거점과 분업을 하는 본선인도가격제, 해외생산거점과 분업을 하는 균일배달가격제의 형태가 있다. 이러한 현상은 본사와 해외법인간의 거래, 수출기업의 화물취급 주도, 저렴한 비용의 선택, 국제적 관행 때문에 일어난다.

GBAS 국내 운용을 위한 승인 절차 및 기준 연구 (A Study on the Approval Process and Criteria for Operation of Ground-Based Augmentation System (GBAS) in Korea)

  • Ground-Based Augmentation System (GBAS) is providing precision approach and landing service with aircraft around airport. FAA granted System Design Approval (SDA) of SLS-4000 to Honeywell as the first GBAS category I system on September 2009. Since then, according to their own kind of approval process including System Design Approval, Facility Approval and Operational Approval, USA, Germany, Spain and Australia have approved GBAS category I system which are installed in some airports in order to provide commercial GBAS service. Recently, KARI has also installed GBAS category I system into Gimpo international airport to establish operational technology of GBAS domestically and to validate effectiveness of GBAS system in Korea. This paper introduces overseas trends and activities regarding approval process of GBAS system and presents approval process and criteria appropriate for future commercial operation of GBAS in Korea.
