In this study, it has been intended to present the ways to improve some problems such as the difficulty of using the program which had got from the existing study, the computation and application of a lot of parameter and the complicated processing which need to be more simplified. Also It has been tried to bring up the ways to make a flood inundation map and a detailed inundation analysis which could reduce the risk factors. We selected an Anseong-Cheon basin, and wrote a flood inundation scenario based on extreme flood to exceed the planned frequency to consider only overflow and levee break and executed inundation simulation. Researchers conducted an analysis of overflow and levee break using function of HEC-RAS Storage with a One-Dimensional model. It applied Elevation versus Volume Curve for more correct inundation simulation than a method of Area-Time-Depth which used in popular. This study will suggest a mathematical method of SURFER with a little difference of inundation area more simplified and precise flood inundation than complicated Arcview 3.2a which used Query method of Arcview 3.2a.

If a vulnerability in the software connected to the network to obtain the user's privilege, a remote attacker could gain the privilege to use the computer. In addition, in a user environment in which an operating system for a specific series is used a lot, if a problem occurs in the operating system, considerable damage can occur. In particular, If an error is a security vulnerability, it can be a very big problem. Various studies have been conducted to find and respond to vulnerabilities in such a situation. Among various security technologies, the fuzzing technology is one of the most effective technologies to find errors in software. In this paper, I designed and implemented a fuzzing agent that can detect buffer overflow vulnerabilities that can occur in various applications. Through this fuzzing agent, application developers will be able to realize a more secure computing environment in which they can discover and fix vulnerabilities in their own applications.
This study is selected two points of combined sewer that occurred Fish Kill after first flush, that analyzed generation of pollutants and stream runoff generation of combined sewer overflows (CSOs) as fine weather and rainfall. In addition, this study was to analyze the relationship between CSOs and sediments, to propose measures to reduce the sediment relevant with CSOs and rainfall runoff from entering sewage treatment plants and measures for discharged directly into streams when indicate relatively good water quality after overflow. Sediments in combined sewer system was discharged about 50~80% as overflows during rainfall and we can reduce the amount of the CSOs at least 50% or more if the sewer does not exist in the sediments because of the amount of discharge about the amount of intercept has been investigated by 3~5 times. Because of velocity at sediment interval in sewer is very low, sewage velocity of about 3~5 times as much as it can increase the amount of sediment can be reduced if the separation wall is installed. Effective control of BOD overflow load is respectively 77.5%, 75.8% at first point, second point by the separation wall is installed. Drainage area greater than area in this study or many combined sewer overflows region is increased the more effective control of separation wall. Turbidity to measure changes in water quality of overflows can be used as an factor to control the intercept flows because the intercept flows(3Q) after the first flush has lowered removal efficiency and increases the operational load of sewage treatment plants. Sewage water quality after a overflow when the reasonable turbidity was measured at this point flows to excluded intercept flow(1Q) can be discharged to stream.
A hydrodynamic separator using natural free energy provided by bridge was operated for the treatment of stormwater runoff. The separator was automatically controlled by using electronic valve which is connected with pressure meter. Normally the separator was opened during dry days, but it was closed after the capture of first flush. The results indicated that the average pressure and the flow rate were directly affected by the rainfall intensity. The pressure was more than 3 meters as the rainfall intensity was above 5 mm/hr. The percent volume of underflow decreased as the pressure and flow rate increased, but the percent volume of overflow showed an opposite behavior. The concentration of total suspended solids (TSS) in underflow increased as a function of increasing pressure while it decreased in overflow. The TSS separation efficiency was evaluated based on mass balance. It ranged from 30% to 90% with the pressure ranging from 2 to 10 meters, and it was proportional to pressure and flow rate. The analysis of water balance indicated that around 13% of total runoff was captured by the separator as a first flush, and this runoff was separated as underflow and overflow with the respective percent volume of 29% and 71%. The pollutants budget was also examined based on mass balance. The results showed that the percent of TSS, $COD_{cr}$, TN and TP in underflow were 73%, 59%, 7.6% and 49%, respectively.

Most of anti-virus programs detect and compare the signature of the malicious code to detect buffer overflow malicious code. Therefore most of anti-virus programs can't detect new or unknown malicious code. This paper introduces a new way to detect malicious code traces memory executable of essentials APIs by malicious code. To prove the usefulness of the technology, 7 sample codes were chosen for compared with other methods of 8 anti-virus programs. Through the simulation, It turns out that other anti-virus programs could detect only a limited portion of the code, because they were implemented just for detecting not heap areas but stack areas. But in other hand, I was able to confirm that the proposed technology is capable to detect the malicious code.

Buffer overflow vulnerability is the most representative one that an attack method and its countermeasure is frequently developed and changed. This vulnerability is still one of the most critical threat since it was firstly introduced in middle of 1990s. Shellcode is a machine code which can be used in buffer overflow attack. Attackers make the shellcode for their own purposes and insert it into target host's memory space, then manipulate EIP(Extended Instruction Pointer) to intercept control flow of the target host system. Therefore, a lot of research to defend have been studied, and attackers also have done many research to bypass security measures designed for the shellcode defense. In this paper, we investigate shellcode defense and attack techniques briefly and we propose our new methodology which can hide shellcode in the 24bit BMP image. With this proposed technique, we can easily hide any shellcode executable and we can bypass the current detection and prevention techniques.

Recently management of vegetation distributed in the watercourse is very important not only for safety but also for river restoration. In general, vegetations in the watercourse increase hydraulic resistance and accordingly decrease conveyance capacity which may yield levee overflow. This paper simulates water level rise using 1D and 2D hydro dynamic model to check the possibility of overflow in downstream of the Soyang Reservoir by assigning different roughness coefficient corresponding to different types of vegetation. In this study, 3 different vegetation types of tree, shrub, and main channel were considered and corresponding Manning's roughness coefficient n was assigned based on the vegetation map generated from the site investigation. As results, the water level raised about 0.1 to 0.7 m comparing with the case without considering vegetation and a proper measurements is necessary where overflow occurs due to low level levee.

Fishways are essential structures that must be installed in rivers to facilitate the movement of fish between upstream and downstream areas. However, the efficiency of fish passage varies depending on the flow conditions within the fishway. Therefore, this study examined the fish-friendly flow characteristics within a stepped fishway at different overflow depths using FLOW-3D, and conducted experiments for model validation. The key parameters affecting fish swimming ability include velocity, turbulent kinetic energy, and energy dissipation rate. These factors were assessed using a simulated fish species, the zacco platypus, to evaluate the suitability of fish-friendly flow condition. It was confirmed that overflow depth significantly influences fish behavior, and an appropriate overflow depth is required for stepped fishway design. The results of this study are expected to serve as fundamental data for the design of stepped fishways in the future.

The weirs built so far are mainly overflow type weirs overflowing to the upstream. Main advantages of overflow type weirs are, effective water resources management and easy design, construction and maintenance due to many accumulated studies. However, due to the special feature of the overflow type weir where water overflows through the upstream of the weir, the silt coming from the upstream is not discharged to the downstream of the weir. This increases the river bed and reduces the reservoir capacity, and as a result, the weir loses its function. A underflow type weir with a water gate has been implemented in order to solve such sediment deposit and weir maintenance problems. However due to the design problem of recently constructed underflow type weirs, the river bed of the downstream of a weir has been scoured. And this leds to a structural problem. In this study, the flow characteristics of overflow type weirs and underflow type weir, hydraulic jump length analysis depending on change of water depth and the amount of specific energy loss generated per unit length depending on a weir type have been compared and analyzed, for the effective design and management of the weirs. The experiment results show that, when identical upstream conditions of underflow type weir and an overflow type weir were maintained, the hydraulic jump length was up to twice longer with Fr(Froude number) 3.5 of the hydraulic jump length at the underflow type weir, and the hydraulic jump length gradually decreased as the downstream water depth increased. The comparative analysis result of the amount of specific energy loss generated per unit length showed that the amount of energy loss per unit length was twice higher for an overlfow type weir than a underflow type weir. Therefore, in case of a underflow type facility, an additional energy reduction facility is determined to be necessary for safety of water construction structures.
