A new VSC scheme, OFVSC(Output Feedback Variable Structure Controller), is proposed by consisting of servo compensator and output feedback VSC with dynamic switching function. The servo compensator which is designed for output variable enhances the robustness for all the types of disturbances, and makes effective tracking is possible without using error dynamics which is usually used in conventional VSC. The proposed OFVSC is applied to the practical design of a robust DC servo control system and the control performances are evaluated through theoretical analysis and simulations.

고전적인 선형 제어와 가변 구조 제어를 융합한 방식에서 가상 공정(nominal plant)을 적응 관측기로 대체하여 실제 공정의 출력과 가상 공정의 출력 간의 오차가 계속 잔존하게 되는 문제를 해결하였다. 적응 관측기로서는 지수 함수적으로 수렴하는 적응 관측기를 사용하였으므로, 실제 공정의 출력에 적응 관측기의 출력이 빠르게 수렴하여 오차가 잔존하지 않게 되어 제어 시스템의 성능이 저하되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.

AC plasma power supply is used to control a ozone generator and a air pollution gas. AC plasma power supply is composed of power semiconductor switch devices and control board adapted SHE(Selected Harmonic Elimination) PWM method. AC plasma power supply with sinusoidal VVVF(variable voltage and variable frequency) is realized. Its output voltage range is from 0 [V] to 20[kV] and output frequency range is from 8[kHz] to 20[kHz]. Using proposed system, AC high voltage and high frequency discharge is tested in the DBD(dieletric barrier discharge) reactor, and the space distribution of a its non-thermal plasma is observed. In spite of the increasement of voltage and frequency, the proposed system have a stable operation characteristics. It is verified by the experimental results.

EPC seeks to minimize variability by transferring the output variable to a related process input(controllable) variable, while SPC seeks to reduce variability by detecting and eliminating assignable causes of variation. In the case of product control, a very reasonable objective is to try to minimize the variance of the output deviations from the target or set point. We compare three control systems; EPC, combined system with EWMA and EPC, and SPC. This paper shows through simulation that the performance of the integrated model of EPC and SPC is more preferable than that of EPC.

This paper presents a recoil and counter recoil(R&CR) motion measurement method using linear variable differential transformers(LVDT). The output of a LVDT is obtained from the differential voltage of the 2nd transformers. As a sensor core is attached at the motion body, the output is directly proportional to the core motion. Displacement, velocity and acceleration are measure from the core length. With a comparison between the measurement result and the known value which is obtained by the precision steel tape, the accuracy and the usefulness of the proposed scheme is validated.

This parer presents a cycloconverter with a LC resonant circuit for a induction motor drive. The cycloconverter can provide variable voltage and frequency three phase output while keeping the input displacement factor at 1.0. The input current wave for is are sinusoidal,and the wide output frequency range is appropriate for variable speed AC motor drives.

The homogeneous line broadening in EDF leads to unstable lasing and strong mode competition. In this paper a multiwavelength fiber ring laser that overcomes these effects by using variable attenuators between the DWDM and $1{\times}N$ coupler, has been proposed. Fiber ring lasers with four and eight wavelength outputs are implemented, and we show that the output powers can be adjusted with stable operation. The EDF ring laser has one four-wavelength output and four of single wavelengths, with OSNR of 50 and 60 dB respectively.

본 논문에서는 조합논리스템의 효율적인 다중출력스위칭함수 구성의 한 가지 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법의 시간영역기반의 멀티플렉싱을 기반으로 공통다중종단노드확장논리결정도를 도출하여 최종 조합논리시스템의 다중출력스위칭함수를 구하므로 기존의 시간영역기반의 멀티플렉싱에 비해 최적화된 입력변수의 쌍과 출력변수 쌍을 상당히 줄일 수 있으며, 또한 코스트 면에서도 유리하다. 또한, 입출력단자 수의 감소, 회로구성의 간략화, 연산속도의 향상 등의 이점이 있으며 기존의 방법에 비해 좀 더 정규성과 확장성이 용이하다.

In this paper, we compare the performance of three data mining classification algorithms(neural network, decision tree, logistic regression) in consideration of various characteristics of categorical input and output data. $2^{4-1}$. 3 fractional factorial design is used to simulate the comparison situation where factors used are (1) the categorical ratio of input variables, (2) the complexity of functional relationship between the output and input variables, (3) the size of randomness in the relationship, (4) the categorical ratio of an output variable, and (5) the classification algorithm. Experimental study results indicate the following: decision tree performs better than the others when the relationship between output and input variables is simple while logistic regression is better when the other way is around; and neural network appears a better choice than the others when the randomness in the relationship is relatively large. We also use Taguchi design to improve the practicality of our study results by letting the relationship between the output and input variables as a noise factor. As a result, the classification accuracy of neural network and decision tree turns out to be higher than that of logistic regression, when the categorical proportion of the output variable is even.
