  • Digital photogrammetry is growing today using inexpensive personal confuter and digital image Processing technique instead of expensive analytical plotter in data acquisition from aerial photograph. Ortho photo in replacement of paper map is indispensable in the application of Geo-Spatial Information System and research activities about it are active in the domestic domain. Also the availability of ortho photo is greatly various in existing related fields using topographic map and expected to be used for new technology in near future. For this purpose, design of each module for ortho photo has been carried out with digital map and image. It was shown that the batch program for ortho photo generation developed in this study, could be used effectively as an effective data acquisition method for GSIS.

  • In case of producing image map by using the color aerial photograph, DEM makes on huge effects to the accuracy of ortho image. Thus, this paper has the purpose that evaluate the accuracy of DEM acquired by matching the color aerial photograph. At the study, result of color aerial photograph's control point surveying was X=${\pm}$0.14m, f=${\pm}$0.16m. Estimated result by DEM of plot-map and matching has RMSE=${\pm}$1.058m for the elevation(Z). For matching DEM has a minor(-)'s value, it can access that produce by high point than plot-map DEM.

  • This study is to trace the change of stream shape using the past series of aerial photographs and compare the land use changes of inland along the stream. For the Gyeong-an national stream, aerial photographs of 1966, 1981 and 2000 was selected and ortho photograph was made with RMSE of 1.05, 0.54, 0.72 pixels, respectively. As apparent changes of the stream, the consolidated reaches of stream with levee construction were straightened and their stream width widened. Especially the stream width of inlet part of Paldang lake was widened almost twice because of the rise of water level by dam construction in 1974.

  • To manage the architecture information of Seoul, aerial photographs have been taken and Photographic Interpretation Status Maps(PISP) have been produced through interpretation process. However PISP of SEOUL has a number of errors and difficulties to update maps, owing to its analogue formation by hand skill. In this study, some digitizing methods are tested to make Digital Photographic Interpretation Status Maps(DPISP). The digitizing methods by scanning maps, using ortho-images and true ortho-images, digital correction plotting process, and LiDAR techniques were used for comparative analysis of PISP. As a result of this study, the author suggest DPISP by the digital correction plotting method is proper for economical efficiency and its accuracy of the architecture information.

For the Gyeong-an national stream, aerial photographs of 1966, 1981 and 2000 was selected and ortho photograph was made with RMSE of 1.25, 0.54, 0.72 pixels, respectively. As apparent changes of the stream, the consolidated reaches of stream with levee construction were straightened and their stream width widened. • From early plane-table photogrammetry through the analog and analytical stages, photogrammetry has now reached the digital photogrammetry stage using the image stored at computers. Digital Photogrammetry using aerial photograph generates the DTM and digital orthophoto. Expecially, DTM is important for improving the accuracy of digital ortho photo. so Many experimental are required. In this study, therefore deals with the generation process of digital orthophotos using DTM with breakline and without breakline.

  • The main feature of this study is to automatically synthesize square images by sending aerial photographs and images from unmanned aerial vehicles (drons). It may be applicable to the cloud server, and to apply analytical algorithms for the suitable purpose of image processing. Drone imaging analysis is a process that can be used in various fields such as finding contaminated area of green algae, monitoring forest fire, and managing crop cultivation.

  • This paper presents a method for obtaining mosaic aerial photographs that are useful for a long-term shoreline change study in the Nakdong estuary. Although this method involves digital photogrammetry software of the shelf its usage can be simplified to accomodate the shoreline change study. Ground control points, which are common in aerial photographs, were measured from digital maps. Block triangulation was highly affected by land-based GCPs. Extension of tie points near the shoreline to vertical control points gave more reliable results for the block triangulation. A constant Digital Elevation Model (DEM), close to mean sea level, was employed to produce ortho-rectified photographs, from which mosaic photographs were made. Accuracy of photographs were found to be acceptable for the analysis of long-term shoreline change, and the promising construction of a shoreline change database in the Nakdong estuary.

  • Three-dimensional geo-spatial information is important for the efficient use and management of the country and the three-dimensional expression and analysis of urban projects, such as urban plans devised by local governments and urban management. Thanks to the revitalization of the geo-spatial information service industry, it is now being variously used not only in public but also private areas. For the creation of high-guiltily three-dimensional geo-spatial information, emphasis should be placed on not only the quality of the source image and three-dimensional geo-spatial model but also the level of visualization, such as level of detail and texturing. However, in the case of existing three-dimensional geo-spatial information, its establishment process is complicated and its data are not updated frequently enough, as it uses ready-created digital maps. In addition, as it uses Ortho Images, the images exist Relief displacement. As a result, the visibility is low and the three-dimensional models of artificial features are simplified to reach LoD between 2 and 3, making the images look less realistic. Therefore, this paper, analyzed the quality of three-dimensional geo-spatial information created using the three-dimensional modeling technique were applied using Digital photogrammetry technique, using digital aerial photo images by an existing large-format digital camera and multi-looking camera. The analysis of the accuracy of visualization information of three-dimensional models showed that the source image alone, without other visualization information, secured the accuracy of 84% or more and that the establishment of three-dimensional spatial information carried out simultaneously with filming made it easier to gain the latest data. The analysis of the location accuracy of true Ortho images used in the work process showed that the location accuracy was better than the allowable horizontal position accuracy of 1:1,000 digital maps.

  • Lately, airborne digital camera and airborne laser scanner in field of airborne surveying are used to build geography information such as digital ortho photo map and DEM(Digital Elevation Model). In this study, 3D position accuracy is compared medium format CCD camera RCD105 with airborne digital camera DMC. For this, test area was decided for aerial photograph. And using 1/1,000 scale digital map, ground control points were selected for aerial triangulation and check points were selected for horizontal/vertical accuracy analysis using softcopy stereoplotter. Accuracy of RCD105 and DMC was estimated by result of aerial triangulation and result of check points measurement of using softcopy stereoplotter. In result of aerial triangulation, RMSE(Root Mean Square Error) X, Y, Z of RCD105 is 2.1, 2.2, 1.3 times larger than DMC. In result of check point measurement using softcopy stereoplotter, horizontal/ vertical RMSE of RCD105 is 2.5, 4.3 times larger than DMC. Even though accuracy of RCD105 is lower than DMC, it is maybe possible to make digital map and ortho photo using RCD105.
