섬유업체의 시장지향성과 학습지향성이 사업성과에 미치는 영향: 기업 혁신성에 따른 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Market Orientation and Learning Orientation on Business Performance in the Textile Firms: Focusing on Moderating Effect of Company Innovativeness)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of market orientation and learning orientation of textile firms on business performance and to confirm the moderating effect of company innovativeness on these relationships. Data collected from 167 textile firms through survey were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-tests, and multiple causal modeling using AMOS 6.0. In results, the higher innovativeness, the stronger effect of market orientation on business performance. Also, the lower innovativeness, the stronger effect of learning orientation on business performance. Study results may suggest the needs of different focus of organization culture according to company characteristics in order to improve business performance.

  • 본 연구는 내부마케팅, 시장지향, 환자만족, 병원이미지 간의 관계를 조사하고 특히 지역 국립대학 병원의 내부 마케팅에 대한 CEO의 역할의 영향에 초점을 둔다. 편의표본추출법으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 불성실한 답변을 제외한 222개의 설문지가 가설 검정을 위해 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 수집된 데이터의 기본 분석은 SPSS 21.0을 사용하였으며, AMOS 21.0을 사용하여 신뢰성과 타당성을 검정하기 위해 확인요인분석을 실시하였다. 가설 검정을 위해 경로분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, CEO의 역할은 내부마케팅에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 내부마케팅은 시장지향성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 리더십은 내부 마케팅의 가장 영향력 있는 요인이다. 셋째, 시장지향성은 비재무적 조직성과인 환자만족과 병원이미지에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 내부마케팅은 시장지향성 및 환자만족과 병원이미지의 향상에 중요한 역할을하며, 내부마케팅 활성화는 병원 CEO의 지원에 달려있는 것으로 확인된다.

창업마케팅특성이 기업성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Marketing Characteristic on Business Performance)

  • 우리나라의 신생기업은 5년 후 생존율이 29.6%로 낮아진다. 이는 초기의 창업기업들이 중견기업에 비해 자원이 풍부하지 못하기 때문에 생존율이 낮다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 창업기업의 마케팅특성이 주요 원인으로 부각되고 있다. 이번 연구에서는 학습지향성, 마케팅경험, 경쟁지향성 등은 창업기업에 따라 다르게 소유하고 있으며, 특히 창업기업의 경우 마케팅전략에 미치는 영향은 다르게 조사될 수 있다고 판단되어 학습지향성, 마케팅경험, 경쟁지향성이 창업기업의 마케팅전략에 미치는 관계를 검정하였다. 이를 바탕으로 기업성과를 측정하여 창업기업의 대표자들에게 창업기업의 생태계에 관련된 내용을 시사하고자 하는데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 표본은 2015년도를 기준으로 창업한지 3년 6개월 이내의 창업기업가들을 대상으로 2015년 11월 20일부터 12월 20일까지 창업 기업 종사자 250명을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 이를 데이터클리닝 한 결과 207개의 표본을 대상으로 SPSS 20.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석 및 회귀분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 독립변수인 창업기업의 마케팅환경이 매개변수인 마케팅전략에 미치는 영향은 학습지향성, 마케팅경험, 경쟁지향성에 있어 제품전략, 유통 전략, 촉진전략에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 매개변수인 마케팅전략이 종속변수인 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 제품전략, 유통전략, 촉진전략은 재무성과와 비재무성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 마케팅전략의 매개효과는 학습지향성, 마케팅경험, 경쟁지향성이 재무성과에 미치는 영향에 있어서 제품전략과 유통전략이 확실한 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 조사되었으며, 학습 지향성과 마케팅경험, 경쟁지향성이 비재무성과에 미치는 영향에 있어서 제품전략만이 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 조사되었다. 연구결과의 요약을 종합해보면 창업기업이 기업의 성과를 높이기 위해서 마케팅전략을 펼쳐야 하는데 특히 학습지향성과 마케팅경험이 중요시되며 창업마케팅특성이 기업성과를 높이는데 있어서 제품전략과 유통전략이 재무성과를 높일 수 있다. 그리고 제품전략은 재무성과와 비재무성과를 높인다고 볼 수 있다. 이에 창업기업 마케팅특성을 수행하는데 있어서 기업의 성과를 높이기 위해 창업마케팅특성에 따른 마케팅전략을 펼치는 것이 바람직하다고 사료된다.

  • Modern fashion market is being developed by emotional values rather than rational idea of customers. Experiential marketing is an effective marketing strategy for fashion marketplace because customers tend to consider fashion shopping as an enjoyable experience. Among the fashion markets, the fashion stores for middle.old aged women that have various points of contacts could be appropriate place where emotional and relational marketing strategies would be applied to. The effects of the procedure "emotional and relational experience$\rightarrow$commitments$\rightarrow$long-term relationship orientation" that fashion customers are experiencing, by forming a path model, two types of experiential effects from emotion and relation were examined. It was found that fashion emotional and relational experiences were important factors because these factors affected a long-term relationship orientation. The findings of the study provide marketing strategy that enables to promote a consistent relationship between fashion stores and customers. Furthermore, this study will contribute to the criteria for segmentation of middle and old aged women's fashion market who have own desire for fashion emotional and relational experience.

The Effect of Entrepreneurial Orientation on Digital Marketing Performance: A Case Study of Small Enterprises in Kendari City, Indonesia

  • This research aims to determine and analyze: (a) the effects of digital marketing activity (DMAc), digital marketing capability (DMC), and Digital marketing asset (DMA), (b) the effects of DMAc, DMC, and DMA on marketing performance (MP), (c). the effects of entrepreneurial orientation (OE) on MP and (d). the mediating role of OA on the effects of DMAc, DMC, and DMA on OE. The research population is all the small enterprise actors in Kendari city applying digital marketing and having a permanent establishment in Kendari City. The analysis tool used is SEM Partial Least Square. Results of the research show that: (a). DMC and DMA have positive and significant effects on OE while DMAc is found to be insignificant on OE, (b). then, DMAc and DMA have positive and significant effects on MP, and DMC is found to be insignificantly increasing MP, (c). OE has positive and significant effects on MP and (d). DMC effects on MP and effects between DMA and MP are mediated by OE, whereas DMA effects on MP are not mediated by OE position. Based on research findings, DMC and DMA are superior at forming research opinions since they have a substantial influence on enhancing collaboration.

헤어미용실의 내부마케팅이 서비스지향성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Internal Marketing of Hair Salon on Service Orientation)

  • 본 연구는 헤어미용실 종사자의 개인특성에 따른 서비스지향성의 차이를 규명하고, 서비스지향성에 영향을 미치는 헤어미용실의 내부마케팅 요인을 규명하는 것이 목적이다. 하고자 하였다. 연구방법으로서 실증적 연구를 위한 설문지는 경남의 헤어미용실 종사자로부터 수집하였고, 수집된 설문지를 IBM SPSS Statistics 26을 통하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 헤어미용실 종사자의 개인특성에 따른 서비스지향성의 차이를 분석한 결과, '40대 이상' 집단과 '근무기간 10년 이상' 집단이 다른 집단에 비해 서비스지향성이 통계적으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 내부마케팅과 서비스지향성의 인과관계를 분석한 결과, 내부마케팅 중에서 복지후생, 보상시스템, 교육훈련 등이 각각 서비스지향성에 통계적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 특히 보상시스템이 서비스지향성에 가장 강한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 헤어미용실 종사자의 개인특성을 고려한 내부마케팅 활동을 통하여 고객에 대한 서비스지향성을 향상시켜야 한다. 서비스지향성의 향상은 고객의 재이용의도를 의미함으로 궁극적으로는 헤어미용업체의 경영성과가 더욱 향상될 수 있음을 시사한다.

Does Brand Orientation Matter? An Empirical Study of Korean SMEs

  • Brand orientation is a relatively new paradigm in marketing which was first introduced in the 1990s. Since then, an accumulating body of research has addressed the strategic importance of brand orientation. Although there is a growing body of literature on brand orientation, there have been no empirical studies examining the mediation effect of brand orientation on market orientation-performance relationship to date. Moreover, most studies on brand orientation have been carried out in the context of large enterprises. Hence, the aim of this research is to extend the literature and address market orientation, brand orientation, and firm performance against the backdrop of Korean SMEs. The authors empirically investigate the impact of market/brand orientation on organizational performance and the mediating role of brand orientation. They utilize 178 usable responses to test the four research hypotheses. The hypothesized model predicts that there is a positive association among market orientation, brand orientation, and firm performance. It is also expected that brand orientation mediates the relationship between market orientation and organizational performance. The statistical results based on PLS analysis confirm our prediction among the constructs in the research model. The empirical evidence provides significant theoretical and managerial implications for brand orientation among SMEs. The first theoretical implication is that we provide empirical evidence regarding the important role of brand orientation in explaining the multi-trait perspectives of strategic orientation. The second theoretical implication is that the concept of brand orientation can be empirically validated in the context of SMEs. In terms of managerial implications, managers of SMEs should attempt to build a brand-oriented corporate culture or mindset that places brand values and brand norms as the top priority among their company's tasks. In addition, managers should recognize that brand orientation is critical for SMEs as well as large enterprises. In the last section, the authors address limitations of the study and provide directions for further research.

  • The purpose of this article is to highlight the relationships among market orientation, environmental turbulence, marketing capabilities, and organizational performance in railway industry(616 participants). Major findings are: 1) market orientation showed a significant effect on marketing capabilities, and organizational performance, 2) environmental turbulence functioned as a moderator not to organizational performance, but to marketing capabilities, 3) and marketing capabilities showed a strong effect on organizational performance. These findings imply that market orientation, as well as marketing capabilities, are so essential for creating a supreme performance in the railway industry.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to compare internal marketing, job satisfaction and customer orientation between nurses in small-medium hospitals and nurses in general hospitals. Method: The participants were 470 nurses were working in 8 small-medium hospitals and 5 general hospitals. Data were collected with structured questionnaires in July, 2010, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test, MANCOVA, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Scheffe test with PASW (SPSS) 18.0 program. Results: There was no significant difference between small-medium hospital nurses and general hospital nurses in internal marketing and customer orientation. But nurses in small-medium hospitals had higher levels of job satisfaction than general hospital nurses. Conclusions: These findings demonstrate the necessity of developing programs that will help to improve job satisfaction in nurses.

Business Performance Determinants of Salted Fish Distribution in Kapuk During the COVID-19

  • Purpose: This study aims to measure whether market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, and marketing capabilities affected the business performance of salted fish distribution in Kapuk warehouse, West Jakarta at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. This prolonged and difficult pandemic has had an impact on the business of selling salted fish, challenging organisations' ability to maintain business performance. Research design, data and methodology: This study uses a PLS-SEM model approach using Smart PLS 3.0 and a questionnaire as the instruments. The conditions during the observation include 77 distributors who chose to keep doing business, and the research sample were measured by the number of distributors (business actors or people in charge). In this study, the variables of marketing capabilities, market orientation, and entrepreneurial orientation were used to analyse business performance. Results: Interestingly, the results of the study succeeded in explaining that during a pandemic market, both entrepreneurial orientation and marketing ability affected current business performance, although marketing ability remains an inconsistent mediator. Conclusions: This result serves as a reminder that surviving is the priority which must be focused on now, rather than crafting strategies to excel in competition that consume valuable effort and resources.
