종합병원 간호사의 직무배태성과 간호업무성과와의 관계에서 셀프리더십과 사회적 지지의 역할 (Role of Self-leadership and Social Support in the Relationship between Job Embeddedness and Job Performance among General Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of nurses' job performance with job embeddedness, self-leadership and social support and the role of self-leadership and social support in the relation between job embeddedness and job performance among general hospital nurses. Methods: The participants for this study were 244 nurses from 3 general hospitals in Seoul and Gyunggi Province. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff\acute{e}$ test, Pearson correlation and Hierarchical Multiple Regression. Results: Job performance showed positive correlations with job embeddedness (r=.56, p<.001), self-leadership(r=.68, p<.001), organizational support (r=.30, p<.001), supervisors' support (r=.31, p<.001) and colleagues' support (r=.31, p<.001). Job embeddedness and self-leadership had significant influence on nurses' job performance. However self-leadership and social support did not show moderating effects of job embeddedness on nurses' job performance. Conclusion: These findings indicate that job embeddednes and self-leadership are important factors to enhance nurses' job performance. Therefore, promoting activities for job embeddedness and self-leadership might be a way to increase nurses' job performance. As there was no moderating effects of self-leadership and social support on job embeddedness and job performance, further studies are necessary to refine these findings in different environments.

사이버 교수-학습과정에서 상호작용성 평가방법에 관한 탐색적 연구 (A Study on Quantitative Models for Evaluating Interactivity in Cyber Learning)

  • 사이버 교수-학습환경이 활성화되면서 그 교육 과정의 핵심 요소로 상호작용의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 그럼에도 사이버 학습에서의 상호작용성의 중요성을 강조한 연구는 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있으나 상호작용성의 특성상, 그 과정 자체를 확인하고 평가하는 방법에 대해서는 별다른 진전이 없었고 또 이를 계량적으로 평가하는데 어려움이 있었다. 이에, 본 연구는 이러한 추상적인 상호작용의 과정을 평가하고자 사이버 체제의 교수-학습과정에서 나타나는 상호작용 과정을 확인할 수 있는 정량적 데이터를 수집하였다. 이 데이터를 기초로 DEA기법과 가중치 적용기법의 두 가지 방법을 이용하여 상호작용서의 수준을 계량적으로 평가해 보았다. 이 두 가지 정량적 평가모형을 월별로 적용한 결과간의 상관계수와 서열상관계수를 살펴본 결과, 이 두 모형의 결과에는 큰 차이가 없음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 추상적인 상호작용의 과정을 정량적 접근을 통해 평가해 봄으로써 학습과정에서 발생하는 상호작용성의 정도를 검증할 수 있는 방법론을 제안하였다.

건설회사 신입사원 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Factors Influencing Turnover Intention of New Employees in Construction Company)

  • 최근 건설경기 침체로 인하여 주택 미분양 물량이 급증하고 있으며, 자금난을 겪고 있는 건설사가 퇴출되거나 워크아웃되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라 건설사는 경영합리화의 일환으로 급여삭감, 정리해고 등의 방안을 강구하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 방안은 조직구성원이 조직에 잔류하려는 노력과 함께 직장불안정성, 급여불만족을 높게 지각하면서 새로운 직무기회를 탐색하게 될 것이다. 이직은 조직에 부정적인 결과를 가져오지만 긍정적인 결과도 가져오는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 신입사원의 경우 조기 퇴사할 시 조직에 대한 긍정적인 측면은 거의 없을 것이다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위해 신입사원 이직의도에 대해서 철저한 관리가 필요할 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 직장불안정성, 급여만족, 조직몰입도, 취업경쟁력, 업무과다, 직무적합성 등 변수들이 건설회사 신입사원 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 중소형 건설회사와 대형 건설회사의 차이점을 비교 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다.

전국 보건소 비정규직 방문간호사의 고용형태별 직무실태 비교 (Comparison of Working Conditions among Non-regular Visiting Nurses in Public Health Centers based on Their Employment Types)

  • Purpose: This study is to investigate working conditions including job stress among visiting nurses in public health centers in Korea. Methods: An social network based mobile survey was conducted in May 2017 (N=936, response rate: 47.0%). Results: The visiting nurses in this study had their average total career as a nurse is 13.7 years. The 68.3% of them were employed in an indefinite term, 17.0% were hired in a fixed term, and 11.0% came from outsourcing. They responded as high job-stress level including inadequate compensation (71.22/100) and job demands (71.91/100). They experienced down-talk (63.4%), swearwords (32.9%), being made a dirty face (39.9%), sexual jokes (30.8%), or being likened or evaluated with their appearance sexually (14.3%). Among the causes of job related conflicts and discrimination, deprived salary level was the most frequent reason (83.4%). The conflicts and discrimination were incurred by government officers (52.4%). There were no significant differences in overall job stress, emotional labor, organizational commitment, violence, and discrimination experience based on their employment types. Conclusion: The differences in working conditions among the non-regular nurses were trivial, and their overall working conditions were poor. It is necessary to improve non-regular nurses' working conditions in order to make up the limitations of the Korean healthcare system which is centered on hospitals.

  • Family instability has a negative effect on not only an individual household but also the society. The government continues to operate family support centers as a countermeasure to family instability issues. A healthy and multicultural family support center is considered an effective support system that extends from a family unit to the local community. In this study, the satisfaction and demand levels of each center, located in Seoul and Incheon, were examined with respect to items such as operation contents, physical space, and organizational structure. The results showed that various efforts for creating a family-friendly community were implemented in healthy family support centers and multicultural family support centers. It was found that the center organizers and operators focused more on software and programs than on the physical environment. There was mostly a shortage of physical and environmental space. This space shortage limited the planned and ongoing activities in terms of the residents' self-directed participation and space formation for a family-friendly educational culture. Therefore, it was necessary to set up the space-related criteria for each center in order to solve this environmental issue. We identified the baseline data of the criteria for a center's physical and spatial design and size. In particular, it was suggested that a more strategic physical and spatial design is needed to achieve an integral and effective operation for the connection of the family with the local society.

의대생의 전문직 사회화 과정에 대한 고찰 (Professional Socialization of Medical Students)

  • This paper concerns professional socialization of medical students. Professional socialization, in the context of this paper, means the process through which a layperson becomes a doctor equipped with professional identity and values. While medical education does not include such process in the curriculum, medical students obtain certain values and identity informally. The dependent variables were professional values and professionalism. The former means the desirable attributes required to conducting professional works such as humane attitudes, science-oriented mind, capability for organizational management. The latter means socio-political reasoning with which doctors can rationalize their privileges such as autonomy. A specially designed questionnaire was developed. The data were collected from five medical schools for 1,318 students in 1994. A total of 1,070 cases were finally included in the statistical analysis. The students emphasized the human factor in the professional values. Their attitude did not change with the grade. Other independent variables such as motives for entering a medical school, socioeconomic status, satisfaction with medical education, etc. also did not influence professinal values. It implies that professional values were not consolidated among the students. However, the factors of professionalism change significantly with the grade. It implies that the students paid more attention to socio-political issues related to doctor's interests as the grade went up. And the factor scores for professionalism were higher for those students who had more positive attitude towards doing medical practice for profit, expected higher income, and were more conservative about social reform. Other independent variables did not influence professionalism. It seems that the students also give emphasis on professionalism, like current medical doctors, mainly because of their concern with recent unfavorable changes in economic conditions of medical care providers.

작업관련성 근골격계질환과 사회심리적 요인 (Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders and Psychosocial Factors)

  • Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) have been the most common health problem covered by worker's accident compensation insurance for several years in Korea. Korean government has strengthened related regulations since 2003. People looked forward to decreasing the incidence and prevalence of WMSDs. At first, the expectation could be realized. However, we were bumped against to limit at present. The authors think it is due to the negligence of psychosocial factors for WMSDs. Many researchers reported that the various psychosocial factors were associated with WMSDs or symptoms. Job demand, social support, job satisfaction and decision latitude are the major risk factors in job stress aspect. Work pressure, lack of rest, qualified workload, workload variability and monotonous job are the significant risk factors in work context of work organization. Employment flexibility, downsizing, lean production, contingent work and pay for by the piece are also the risk factors in an organizational context. Furthermore, these risk factors are associated with each other across different dimensions of work organization. Suggestive possible pathways between these risks and WMSDs have been taken note of increasing muscle strain or ergonomic stress and of a cognitive aspect. The authors suggest these risk factors could explain the limitation of the regulation system for WMSDs. In conclusion, the strategy to manage psychosocial factors is the one of the essential approach to prevent WMSDs.

  • 금융계는 고객과 기업 간의 거래관계가 타 산업에 비해 경직되어 있고, 기업의 조직문화 또한 보수적 성향이 강하게 나타난다는 특징을 가진다. 그러나 고객 서비스와 디지털 미디어 채널이 다양화되는 시장환경의 변화 안에서 금융기업들은 과거와는 다른 적극적인 고객지향적 입장에서 어떻게 소셜 미디어 마케팅을 전략적으로 활용할 수 있는지를 고민하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 관계지향적 소셜 미디어 마케팅을 성공적으로 추진하고 있는 IBK 기업은행의 사례를 통해 소셜 미디어 마케팅의 성공 요인을 밝히고, 이를 통해 금융기업들의 성공적인 소셜 미디어 마케팅 활용 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 '신뢰구축(Trust)', '감정이입(Empathy)', '가치공유(Shared Value)', '유대(Bonding)', '고객 커뮤니케이션(Communication)', '상호의존(Reciprocity)'로 구성된 6가지 관계지향적 서비스 요인을 통해 은행의 체계적이고 효과적인 관계지향적 소셜 미디어 마케팅 전략에 대한 구체적인 시사점이 논의된다.

  • 일반적으로 직원들이 자신의 경력이 정체되어 있다고 인식하게 되면 직무몰입 및 직무만족도가 낮아지고 이는 궁극적으로 성과에 부정적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 특히, 연구개발 업무와 같이 고도의 전문적인 지식이 필요한 직무에서는 경력개발이 더욱 중요한 의미를 가진다. 기존 연구들이 경력정체성의 부정적 결과에 연구의 초점을 두었다면 본 연구는 경력정체성의 선행요인을 파악하는데 중점을 두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 경력정체성의 선행 요인을 조직수준 변수와 개인수준 변수로 구분한 후 각각의 변수가 경력정체성에 미치는 직접효과 및 변수들간의 상호작용 효과를 분석하였다. 국내 정부출연연구소 연구원 및 행정직을 대상으로 실증 분석한 결과, 경력개발제도와 타 기관 근무경험은 경력정체성과 부(-)의 관계를 보였으며, 연령은 경력정체성과 정(+)의 관계를 보였다. 또한 경력개발제도와 타 기관 근무경험간의 상호작용도 유의적인 결과를 보였다.

Philosophical and Theoretical Perspectives of Five Laws of Libraries and its Influence on the Library Profession: Issues and Challenges

  • The role of information in knowledge society has changed. Library refers to information centre, which is actively involved information collection and promoting use of for the development of individual and society. Modern libraries are the centres of interaction for all interested in accessing information and in participating in the marathon of the present competitive age. Information and a conducive environment of its free flow is a vital tool in all forms of human endeavour. It is the link pin of national development. For a nation to develop it needs to have and provide relevant, updated and adequate information on food security, health, democracy, population, education, family planning, youth empowerment, gender quality, environment etc. The information intermediaries are the persons to modulate these complexities and find match between the information sources and users needs to satisfaction of Ranganathan's law: Books are for use; Every reader his/her book; Every book its reader; Save the time of the reader; Library is a growing organism. The relative importance of these norms in modern context has been evident from experience, study, observations, discussions, etc., and only by scientists and technologists, but also by managers, planners, and policy makers. They recognize the usefulness of information in the performance of their needs information needs. Libraries are therefore proper management, provision and dissemination of such information. It is clearly visible in the contemporary context, that the libraries in the knowledge society are much more than the book depositories This article looks at the theory/practice divide in library and information science and particularly Ranganathan's contributions, basic statements remain as valid in substance if not in expression as -to-day as when they were promulgated, concisely representing the ideal service and organizational philosophy of libraries today.
