형상변경에 의한 최적구조변경법 (The optimum structural modification by shape changes)

  • In this study, the optimum structural modification of the L-type structure by shape changes is suggested. The vibration characteristics of L-type structure are analyzed by the sub-structure synthesis method, and the coordinte sensitivities of each sub-structure are calculated and the change quantities of the positions to be modified are suggested by using the coordinate sensitivities. The results obtained are as follows : 1. The sensitivities of the natural frequency could be calculated by the sensitivity analysis. 2. The change quantities of the position to be modified could be suggested by the optimum structural modification method. 3. The developed program could reduce the process and time of computation, since the sensitivity was directly calculated by differential method, not finite difference method.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 평면 트러스의 단면치수 및 형 상 최적화 알고리즘을 개발 하는 것이다. 본 연구에 적용된 최적화 기법은 무제약 축차선형화기법(SUMT)의 extended penalty method와 다변수(多變數)를 가지는 직접탐사법인 Hooke & Jeeves method이다. 상기(上記) 언급된 두 방법은 단면최적화와 형상최적화 과정의 각 단계에서 반복적 다 최적설계 과정에서 최종의 최적값이 구해질 때까지 단면최적화와 형상최적화 과정이 반복적으로 상호작용하게 된다. 트러스의 형상최적화에 관한 기존의 연구문헌에서는 최적화의 설계변수로서 부재의 단면적과 절점좌표를 사용하였다. 이렇게 할 경우, 압축재의 좌굴특성을 제대로 반영하기 어려우므로 한정된 조건으로 좌굴특성을 부여하게 되어 보다 실제적인 최적설계에 많은 제약을 가져오게 되므로 본 연구에서는 부재의 실제치수와 절점좌표를 최적화의 설계 변수로 취하게 되므로 부재치수의 변화에 따른 좌굴특성의 변화를 최대한 반영할 수 있다.

수도작 포장의 고저차 측정을 위한 최적 받침대 선정 (Selection of Optimum Fulcrum Type for Measurement and Geo-statistical Analyze of Elevation within Rice Paddy Field)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the specificities of four fulcrum types for geo-statistical analysis of elevation within rice paddy field. In Korea, the spaces between inter-rows and between hills for rice transplanting are 30cm and 11cm to 14cm, respectively. So, the size and shape of fulcrum for field elevation measurement should be considered according to the inter-row and the hill spaces. Four kinds of fulcrum were chosen such as round-shape with 2.5cm diameter, circular-shape with 10cm diameter, 10cm (one third of inter-row space) by 24cm (double of hill space) rectangular-shape, and 20cm (two-thirds of inter-row space) by 24cm rectangular-shape. The resulting descriptive statistics couldn't determine the best fulcrum type to measure the rice paddy field elevation. But the results of geo-statistical analysis could determine the best fulcrum type. In the case of 10cm by 24cm rectangular-shape fulcrum, Nugget and range, meaning measurement error and/or noise, and limit of spatial connection, respectively, were minimum; Q value meaning weight of spatial structure and $r^2$ value were minimum, and residual sum of squares was minimum. It means that 10cm by 24 cm rectangular-shape fulcrum could best describe the rice paddy field elevation.

  • A method of determining an optimum blank shape for the non-circular deep drawing process is investigated. The rigid-plastic finite element method is introduced and the computer program code is developed. The ideal shape of a drawn cup with uniform wall height is assumed and metal flow is traced back-ward step by step to predict an initial blank shape of the ideal cup. For examples of the non-circular deep drawing products, three cases of drawn cup with quadrilateral punch shape are considered and optimum blank shapes for each case are proposed and compared with experimental results.

  • The differences of formability with maximum cup depth of drawn product and thickness strain distribution are compared for two kinds of blank shapes which are suggested optimum shape and conventional square shape. The suggested blank is determined by backward tracing technique of rigid-plastic FEM. The deeper cup without wrinkle and flange part could be obtained from the suggested blank shape however the cross sevtion sup from the square blank could not be kept smooth thickness strain distribution and defended those phenomena..

  • The shape optimization procedure applying finite element method was carried out for the specific purpose of analysis of a tractor chassis frame. Minimization of the mass as an objective function is executed under multiple constrained conditions of nodal displacements and stresses. The optimization process executions were succeeded in converging into single optimum solution. Although mass reduction and stress alleviation were attained by 40% and 26 to 24% respectively , the geometry of the shape is so complicated for fabrication that the refinement of the geometry is of necessity.

  • 겨울철 온실의 기본적인 열에너지원인 일사를 최대한 확보하도록 하는 은실의 지붕형상을 결정하기 위해 유전알고리즘 및 광투과율 전산모델을 이용한 최적화기법을 이용하여 설치지역, 피복재료특성, 온실의 기본치수등이 주어졌을 때 지붕경사각, 경간폭비의 최적조합을 결정할 수 있도록 하는 최적설계를 수행하였다. 수원지방에 위치한 경간폭 6m의 2연동 동서동 온실 및 단동 온실을 가정하여 최적화를 수행한 결과 경사각, 폭비 순으로 2연동, 단동 온실에 대해 각각 40.861≒40 $_。 / , 0.4806≒0.5, 37.490≒37 $_。 / , 0.7748≒0.78의 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 광투과율 문제를 예로 적용해 본 결과 직접 전산모델을 호출하여 최적화를 수행하는 유전알고리즘의 기법은 온실환경의 해석을 위해 연구되어온 다양한 분야의 전산모델들을 종합적인 온실의 최적설계에 활용하도록 하는데 유용한 기법이 될 것으로 판단되었다.판단되었다.

순 Ti 박판 GTA 용접부의 기계적 성질 및 성형성에 미치는 공정변수의 영향 (The Effect of Process Variables on Mechanical Properties and Formability in GTA Welds of Commercial Pure Titanium Sheet)

  • In this work, the effect of welding variables on weldability of gas tungsten arc(GTA) welding was investigated with experimental analysis for a commercial pure(CP) titanium (Grade.1). The GTA welding tests on sheet samples with 0.5mm in thick were carried out at different process variables such as arc length, welding speed and electrode shape. In order to search an optimum arc length with full penetration, bead- on-plate welding before butt-welding were performed with different arc length conditions. From the bead- on-plate welding results, the optimum condition considering arc stability and electrode loss was obtained in the arc length of 0.8mm. Butt-welding tests based on the arc length of 0.8mm were carried out to achieve the optimum conditions of welding speed and electrode shape. Optimum conditions of welding speed and electrode shape were suggested as 10 mm/s and truncated electrode shape, respectively. It was successfully validated by the microstructural observation, tensile tests, micro-hardness tests and formability tests.

비연성 수직형 마이크로 자이로스코프의 구조해석 및 최적설계 (Structural Analysis and Optimum Design of a De-coupled Vertical Micro-Gyroscope)

  • This paper presents the structural analysis and optimum design of a vertical micro-gyroscope with decoupled 2 degrees of freedom (DOF), driven by electrostatic force. Simplified beam models were presented to derive the structural stiffness of the driving spring of the U shape and the sensing spring of I shape. A finite element analysis (FEA) was performed to validate each derivation. A total mass and a polar mass moment of inertia were also obtained and used in calculating the resonance frequency at each mode of the 2 DOF. The resonance frequencies of the total system were calculated using the proposed models and it has been found that they were in excellent agreement with those of the FEA. Finally, the developed analysis program was then linked to an optimum design module, and an optimum design of the micro-gyroscope was successfully performed.

  • 본 논문은 유전자알고리즘과 퍼지이론에 근거한 개선된 퍼지-유전자알고리즘에 의한 이산화 최적설계 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 연구의 최적설계는 평면 및 입체 강구조물의 단면, 형상 최적설계가 동시에 수행된다. 본 연구에서 목적함수는 강구조물의 중량이고, 제약조건식은 설계 및 좌굴강도, 변위 및 부재단면의 두께에 대한 설계제한식이다. 설계변수는 철골부재 단면의 치수와 절점좌표이다. 그리고 본 연구의 개선된 퍼지-유전자 알고리즘에 의한 이산화 최적설계 프로그램의 적용을 위해 설계 예를 들었다.
