  • This paper describes a new developed 3.3KV/4MW class three-level Voltage Source Inverter(VSI), which is equipped with IIMS(Inverter Information Management System) based on the world wide web and with the Virtual operation simulator. The algorithm for motor control is the stator oriented Direct Torque Control(DTC), which works without speed sensor and gives the physically fastest dynamic response. The IIMS have the functions of operation monitoring and data managements. Virtual operation simulator can analyze and tune the system characteristics without main power. Now, this system is under the field test to verify the confidence.

  • An Automated Guided Vehicle System (AGVS) with a unidirectional loop guide path is modeled as a discrete-time stationary Markov chain. It is discussed how to estimate the mean response time, the utilization, and the cycle time of AGV for a delivery order. Three common operation strategies for idle vehicles - central zone positioning rule, circulatory loop positioning rule and point of release positioning rule - are analyzed. These different operation strategies are compared with each other based on the performance measures.

  • This study researched the relationship of effect of management awareness of corporate members, system buildup and strategic operation on corporate performance through industry-university collaboration networking. The result of the study are as follows. First, as the importance of industry-university collaboration, system buildup networking was proved to provide the greatest influence on the corporate performance. Second, it presents to form the bond of sympathy with members on corporate management which is built through industry-university collabora-tion. Third is the importance of strategic operation. Strategic operation was prove to have high influence on corporate performance. Fourth is to prove the relationship between system buildup and strategic operation of industry-university collaboration networ- king. The system buildup provides an important impact on corporate strategic operation. Fifth is the system buildup through management awareness by through industry-university collaboration. Lastly, the relationship between management awareness and corporate performance was found to be significant. Management awareness of members can be presented as an important variable on corporate performance. This study is to present the fact that it is important to secure competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses, to develop a way for creative improvement and to secure a way for strengthening the competitiveness, and to strengthen the corporate competitiveness through reinforcement of industry- university collaboration networking.

  • It is high level of management activity for the fixed property of building to operating spaces for education in university campus. Therefore, this study is focused on definition of the factors for analyzing the actual conditions of space operation and application of them to C university campus in Gyeongbuk in the aspect of infrastructure of university and efficiency of space operation. These analytical factors are the rate of lecture and experimentation room, the rate of theoretical and experimental subject in curriculum and unit area for infrastructure and the rate of use, turnover rate and occupation rate per lecture for space operation. If the analytical factors of space operation are systemized as program module for space operation, the space management system of university campus will be characterized on the foundation of university information system. And it will be able to support the decision making about space management. It needs to integrate various type of information and data of university to increase the efficiency of decision making.

  • Numerous types of sporting events have been hosted in Korea during the last decades. Sport events produce various types of data, and there is a clear necessity of storing and utilizing this information. From this background, the purpose of this study is to draw complex sports categories from international sport events life cycles in order to categorize standards of knowledges management system. This study utilized qualitative methods: expert groups discussion for overall life cycle steps and in-depth interviews for detail life cycle steps. The results show that there are several life cycle steps: bidding, preparation, operation, evaluation, post management steps. To be more specific, for the bidding step, there are check, plan, implementing detail phase; and the preparation step is based on event preparation Basis Build, event preparation implementation, test and supplementation phases. For the operation step, event operation system switch, event operation during the period, finish operation phases are deducted. Evaluation and post management step do not have detail phases. Efforts to store and utilize knowledge can be one of the starting points to make the operation of sport events efficiently.

  • This study examines the effectiveness of a new community facility operation and management system that were implemented by one of the major construction companies. This system was an unprecedented approach in a sense that it provided not only necessary facilities but also a specialized management staff, an operational manual, and a subsidy for various programs. According to POE conducted among the residents, it can be concluded that the residents' satisfaction will be increased under the following conditions; 1) when a program manual associated with the community facility is provided, 2) when there is a professional staff who can coordinate various programs effectively, 3) when the facilities are well designed in accordance with the program requirements, 4) when the users adhere to regulations and management standards, 5) when all three components- i.e. facility, people and programs- are well coordinated, and 6) when affordable user fees are charged. This research assures that professional management staff and well-planned management system play a significant role in the enhancement of the residents' satisfaction as well as vitalizations of the community.

  • PEMFC has several technical problems such as water management, long term stability and performance degradation as. PEMFC has been studied not only to solve water management, but also to generate power in stable manner to system by using a hybrid system with auxiliary energy storage device. The purpose of this study is to couple PEMFC with supercapacitor to make a hybrid system and to design and test control strategies for stable power generation in case of changing output power. The polarization curve and dynamic behaviors while changing power were investigated to find out characteristics of PEMFC stack. A DC/DC converter was fabricated in order to increase fuel cell and supercapacitor voltage and to charge supercapacitor. We found that the operation strategy 2 was recommended to the system because of solving water management problem and increasing the dynamic behavior.

The rapid change in information technology is having an effect on not only all the processes to develop products, but information contents that is provided for the purpose of customer value, and the appearance of products. In other words, the information technology is being recognized as a very important factor among other factors for companies to enhance their competitiveness. In addition, it is more efficient to focus on key factor to maintain the competitive advantage on the using of information technology by outsourcing information systems, rather than by operating the systems under their own. Since the global financial crisis, the long-term recession has been increasing companies who is ready to adopt outsourcing or adopted already. This study is to understand the environment and unique characteristics of outsourcing services and related industries focusing on information system operation and management in information outsourcing services, and is to set the concept needed through my theory that is connected to the service quality and customer satisfaction. A lot of business wiew the improvement of service quality and ensuring customer satisfaction as the major factors of business growth, and lots of ongoing studies have focused on service management in the Information outsourcing service industry. Yet few studies have ever concentrated on the quality of information system operation management service. This study, moreover, is to define the quality of service related with customer satisfaction from customer's viewpoint, measuring effects on customer satisfaction. The quality of outsourcing service on information system in this study is a great help to companies who are offering information outsourcing service, and company's managers and staffs who outsourcedto specialized company.
