  • This paper explored how to design amobile application for Korea's traditional markets based on O2O service and data science technologies. In order to cover a broader scope of customers, diversify the ways to sell products, and increase the profits of Korea's traditional markets, the application bridges online customers with offline stores at traditional markets and augments both convenience and accessibility. Beyond the typical face-to-face interactions between customers and sellers at traditional markets, this application offers mobile payments and personalized recommendations of nearby stores and preferable products using Beacon and datascience technologies. Moreover, it offers multi-language support for foreign customers who are not familiar with Korea's traditional markets and the products sold there. In conclusion, using O2O service, which is a rising trend among prevalent platform technologies, this study proposed a new e-commerce model for Korea's traditional markets to promote market expansion.

  • Nowadays many tasks are performed using the Web. Accordingly, many web-based application systems with various and complicated functions are being requested. In order to develop such web-based application systems efficiently, object-oriented analysis and design methodology is used, and Java EE(Java Platform, Enterprise Edition) technologies are used for its implementation. The security issues have become increasingly important. For such reasons, Java EE provides mechanism related to security but it does not provide interconnections with object-oriented analysis and design methodology for developing web application system. Consequently, since the security method by Java EE mechanism is implemented at the last step only, it is difficult to apply constant security during the whole process of system development from the requirement analysis to implementation. Therefore, this paper suggests an object-oriented analysis and design methodology emphasized in the security for secure web application systems from the requirement analysis to implementation. The object-oriented analysis and design methodology adopts UMLsec, the modeling language with an emphasis on security for the requirement analysis and system analysis & design with regard to security. And for its implementation, RBAC (Role Based Access Control) of servlet from Java EE technologies is used. Also, the object-oriented analysis and design methodology for the secure web application is applied to online banking system in order to prove its effectiveness.

  • Purpose: Delivery food orders are on the rise due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Many customers are ordering food through delivery apps rather than visiting restaurants to eat out. Delivery application platforms are growing due to the development of O2O. Most of the people who provide gig worker for delivery applications are rider. Rider provides labor on their own terms and have more work flexibility and autonomy than ordinary workers. Trust can be transferred from a well-known entity to an unknown entity. From the customer's point of view of using the delivery application, trust can be seen through the third-party trust of the delivery application platform-rider-customer. Therefore, this study intends to investigate the effect on delivery application trust and rider trust through the well-known characteristics of delivery applications. Research design, data, and methodology: This study was conducted on Korean consumers over 20 years of age who have ordered food through a delivery application for the past month. After educating 5 investigators about the purpose of this study, 60 copies of the survey were conducted per person. • Due to the great advances in e-Marketplace and changes in type of items purchased from the online market, it has been dramatically increased the demand of the storage and transportation under the special conditions such as restricted temperature. Especially, the cold chain needs the way to transparently measure and monitor the entire network in realtime because it has a very complicated structure and requires totally different criteria at the every different steps and items. In this research, it has been presented the performance evaluation metrics to make contract using service level agreement (SLA), the way to apply the smart contract based on blockchain, the structure of blocks, service platform and application in order to build cold chain which can prevent the risk factors by measuring and sharing information in realtime using block chain technology. In addition, we have proposed the way to store the measured performance and reputation of each player in the block using smart contract based on SLA. With the presented framework, all players including service providers as well as users can secure the information for making the rational decisions. When the service platform is actually built and operated, it seems possible to secure the information in transparently and realtime. Also, it is possible to prevent the risk factors or prepare the preemptive plans to react on them.

  • Purpose: During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, we conducted a Delphi survey that included the experts from the field of COVID-19 immunization in children aged 5-11 years. The aim was to organize collective expert opinions on COVID-19 vaccination in young children in the Republic of Korea, and so thus assist the vaccination policy. Methods: The panels included pediatric infectious disease specialists, preventive medicine experts, infectious disease physicians, and COVID-19 vaccine experts consulting the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The Delphi survey was conducted online using a questionnaire from February 14 to February 27, 2022. Results: The Delphi panels agreed that children were vulnerable to COVID-19, and the severity of illness was modest. Furthermore the panels reported that children with chronic illness were more susceptible to a worsening clinical course. There were generally positive opinions on the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccination in children aged 5-11 years, and experts gathered a slightly positive opinion that the adverse events of pediatric COVID-19 were not numerous. The benefits of COVID-19 vaccination were evaluated at a level similar to the potential risks in children. Currently, the only approved mRNA platform vaccine in children seemed to be sustainable; however, the recombinant protein platform COVID-19 vaccines were evaluated as better options. Conclusions: Due to the surge of the Omicron variant and an increase in pediatric cases, the COVID-19 vaccination in young children may have to be considered. Panels had neutral opinions regarding the COVID-19 vaccination in children aged 5-11 years. Thus monitoring of the epidemiology and the data about the safety of COVID-19 vaccination should be continued.

  • Not only the consumption trend after the COVID-19 pandemic but also low financial interest rates have stimulated people to invest artworks. With the recent noticeable growth, art investments that mainly conducted by younger generation through online platform can be characterized by a fractional ownership in art market which means several people share one piece of artwork. This study explores 4 fractional ownership platforms in the domestic art market including Art Together, Art & Guide, Tessa, and Pica projects, using a business model canvas that describes nine key elements: Customer Segments, Value Proposition, Channels, Customer Relationships, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Key Activities, Key Partners and Cost Structure. The four cases have similar business models, but the details of revenue streams are different. The key sources of revenue are the profit and commission of the work. Thus, maximizing the profit margin of artworks is the core of revenue streams, so selecting and purchasing highly profitable artworks are significant. Based on the analysis, there are 3 suggestions to continue fractional ownership platform businesses in art market successfully. First, it is required to have a long-term perspective on art investments, as a way to diverse asset portfolio. Second, business confidence should be increased to maintain customer loyalty. Third, the role of platforms as competent experts is important.

  • Recently, car sharing has shown the most remarkable growth among sharing economy services. In the process of analyzing the intention to reuse the car sharing service, this study tried to reflect the unique characteristics of the service, which consists of non-face-to-face self-service, such as reservation, approval, handover, inspection, and return of the vehicle. Specifically, in addition to the perceived benefits and the perceived risks, we considered 'information quality' as a platform characteristic and 'self-efficacy' as a personal characteristic. To collect data, an online survey was conducted on adults with experience in car sharing, and a total of 320 responses were used for analysis. As a result of analyzing the structural equation model, it was found that information quality and self-efficacy increased the perceived benefits of services, and the higher the information quality, the higher the self-efficacy. On the other hand, the role of information quality and self-efficacy in lowering perceived risks was insignificant, and the intention to reuse services was more affected by perceived benefits than perceived risks. As a result of further analysis using Process Macro, it was found that the effect of self-efficacy on reuse intention was mediated by perceived benefits. It was analyzed that the indirect effects of information quality on reuse intention through perceived benefits or self-efficacy were all significant. These results suggest that providing timely, sufficient, and easy-to-understand information required by users on the platform improves self-efficacy and increases service reuse intention. In order to increase the number of service users, it is important for service providers not only to provide promotional activities such as offering attractive prices, but also to provide high-quality information so that users can use it more easily.

  • Even though crowdfunding has become popular as a novel means of raising capital for early-stage ventures and startups through an Internet-based platform, it is unclear how a funder's characteristics, such as motivation and ability, influence their information processing and pledging decision. This study aims to propose and test a research model for determining the relationships between a funder's personal attributes, information processing style, and funding intention. To test the research model, we collected data from 139 Amazon Mechanical Turk participants through an online questionnaire survey. The findings indicate that a funder's self-efficacy has a positive effect on heuristic processing but has no significant effect on systematic processing. By contrast, a funder's personal relevance positively influences both systematic and heuristic processing. Furthermore, heuristic processing, as well as perceived value and perceived risk, influence pledging intentions positively. Our findings potentially contribute to improving the design of crowdfunding platforms to better support a funder's information needs. Based on our findings, we discuss the implications of our study as well as the directions for future research.
