When people contact the government they can use a variety of channels. That is, they go in person to an office, use a telephone service, access information via the Internet, send a letter, or use a third party. Since the Australian Government first recognised the potential of online technology to improve service delivery in its 1997 Investing for Growth statement, it has articulated its policies and strategies for e-government in a number of papers. E-government involves government agencies delivering better programs and services online through the use of new information and communication technologies. The policy papers included Government Online-The Commonwealth's Strategy, launched in April 2000, and a new framework for e-government, Better Services. Better Government, launched in November 2002. Most recently, the Government released Australia's Strategic Framework for the Information Economy in July 2004. These papers outlined the broad directions and priorities for the future of e-government in Australia, and sought to maintain the momentum of agencies' actions under Government Online. One of its key objectives was for agencies to achieve greater efficiency in providing services and a return on their investments in ICT (Information and Communication Technology)-based service delivery. They also stated that investing in e-government should deliver tangible returns, whether they take the form of cost reductions, increased efficiency and productivity, or improved services to business and the broader community Implementation of the Government policy has led to considerable agency investment in ICT-based service delivery. However government policy also requires managers to ensure that program and service delivery is efficient and effective. Efficient and effective use of ICT has the potential to improve service delivery and to make financial savings. This paper outlines how people are using the channels to contact the government in Australia. It also examines the level of satisfaction they have with those services and their preferences and expectations. In addition, this paper aims at identifying the methods used by Australian Government to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of their delivery of services, and at assessing the adequacy of these methods.
Effective internal communication is known to have a positive impact on business performance, but there is a lack of research on the effects of online channels for workplace communication. This study using regression analysis examines how task-technology fit, information richness, self-efficacy, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness related to online communication channels affect not only the satisfaction with the tools but also the effectiveness of them. Additionally, we verify how the organizational culture of online and offline communication shows the control effect. As a result, all five variables were positively correlated with internal communication channels satisfaction, and we found that the organizational culture of online and offline communication controls the relationship between online communication channels satisfaction and effectiveness.
In recent years, O2O (Online to Offline) services get a lot of attention to improve the trust in online shopping and minimize the inconvenience and the cost burden in offline shopping as the number of consumers, who do not show concern about the purchase platform like online or offline, increases. Even though the services have been getting the spotlight as a strong business platform for next generation commerce, there have been only a few studies on the O2O services. The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors which affect the consumer's intention to use location-based O2O services. The study is based on VAM (Value-based Adoption Model) which is able to analyze those factors from the aspects of benefit and sacrifice. We used the partial least squares (PLS) method for empirical analysis, and the result shows that contextual offers, instant connectivity, webrooming and economic efficiency, which fall under the benefit, affect perceived value positively while annoyance and face consciousness, which fall under the sacrifice, do not affect perceived value significantly. In addition, contextual offers and instant connectivity affect trust positively. Location accuracy, which falls under the benefit of location-based O2O service, do not significantly affect perceived value and trust while security risk affects trust and use intention negatively. It appears that trust affects perceived value and use intention positively.
Recently, online commerces are becoming more common due to factors such as mobile technology development and smart device dissemination, and online review has a big influence on potential buyer's purchase decision. This study presents a set of analytical methodologies for understanding the meaning of customer reviews of products in online transaction. Using techniques currently developed in deep learning are implemented Hierarchical Attention Network for analyze meaning in online reviews. By using these techniques, we could solve time consuming pre-data analysis time problem and multiple topic problems. To this end, this study analyzes customer reviews of laptops sold in domestic online shopping malls. Our result successfully demonstrates over 90% classification accuracy. Therefore, this study classified the unstructured text data in the semantic analysis and confirmed the practical application possibility of the review analysis process.

The Online-to-Offline is a method of inducing purchases of products and services by connecting between online and offline This research methodology organized the four stages of the analysis process. The analysis of all stages was performed with association rules in big data techniques. It is divided into the start-up period, growth period, maturity period, and decline period, and analysis is conducted on the business investment, expenditure cost, business operation, and conflict factors. As the research result, the first analysis has shown commonality with government subsidies, bank loans, and personal funds in all industries. The second analysis showed a lot of expenditure on labor costs of internal employees, marketing/sales, facility facilities, equipment, and equipment purchase costs. The third analysis showed difficulty in raising the investment resources necessary for business operations in all industries. The last analysis showed conflicts in the industry, businesses license, legal systems, and small business owners in all industries. Cases of web sites in order to Improve customer relationship are analyzed. finally, a new conceptual framework for web site planning strategy for e-CRM is proposed in this paper. In order to support effective web site planning, online customer contact points and online service activities are defined and classified as several stages. And, web site strategies corresponding to each customer service activities are developed and proposed, With this framework, organizations can build competitive web strategies for improving their online customer relationships, thereby increasing customer satisfaction.
Online reviews offer valuable information to businesses by reflecting consumer experiences about their products and services. Two crucial aspects of online reviews are the topics consumers choose to address, and the sentiments expressed in their reviews. Building upon previous literature that shows online reviews are context-dependent, we employ the Expectation-Confirmation Theory (ECT) to examine the impact of topic distribution on review sentiment in South Korea and the U.S. during pre- and post-pandemic periods. After applying a topic modeling to Airbnb app review data, we measure the contribution of each topic on review sentiment using SHAP values. Our results indicate variations in topic distribution trends between 2018 and 2021. In addition, the order and magnitude of topics' impact on review sentiment change between pre- and post-pandemic periods for both countries. This study can help businesses understand how topics and sentiments associated with their products and services changed after the pandemic and thus identify areas of improvement.

The purpose of the research is to evaluate the current online PR activities focused on the websites of university archives. To achieve the goal, the research developed the indicators to assess online PR activities by synthesizing both the factors derived from the basic components and concepts of PRs at university archives and the existing indexes for evaluating the online PRs of related cultural organizations such as libraries, museums, archives, and non-profit organizations. The research found that most university archives did not have promotional activities positively because there was lack of archival information services development. Even if there were some archival information services, they were not actively publicizing the facts. On the basis of the results, the research suggested the alternatives to improve online PR activities and follow-up research topics to supplement limitations of the research.
Online brand communities have become a major component of marketing strategy given that these communities encourage participation and share the culture of Web 2.0 core concepts to Internet users. This study investigated the effects of social capital and knowledge quality on the success of online brand communities. A research model suggests that trust among members and the identification derived from social capital theory and knowledge quality influence individual community participation; knowledge quality also influences brand trust. In turn, community participation and brand trust develop brand loyalty. The model was empirically analyzed using structural equation modeling with data from online brand community members in Korea. The results indicate that identification and knowledge quality significantly affects brand trust and brand loyalty through community participation. This study provides a basis for developing a success model for online brand communities. Also, this study identifies a new role of knowledge quality in an online brand community context.
