  • For two dimensional lattices, a Gaussian basis achieves all two successive minima. For dimension larger than two, constructing a pairwise Gaussian basis is useful to compute short vectors of the lattice. For three dimensional lattices, Semaev showed that one can convert a pairwise Gaussian basis to a basis achieving all three successive minima by one simple reduction. A pairwise Gaussian basis can be obtained from a given basis by executing Gauss algorithm for each pair of basis vectors repeatedly until it returns a pairwise Gaussian basis. In this article, we prove a necessary and sufficient condition for a pairwise Gaussian basis to achieve the first k successive minima for three dimensional lattices for each k ∈ {1, 2, 3} by modifying Semaev's condition. Our condition directly checks whether a pairwise Gaussian basis contains the first k shortest independent vectors for three dimensional lattices. LLL is the most basic lattice basis reduction algorithm and we study how to use LLL to compute a pairwise Gaussian basis. For δ ≥ 0.9, we prove that LLL(δ) with an additional simple reduction turns any basis for a three dimensional lattice into a pairwise SV-reduced basis. By using this, we convert an LLL reduced basis to a pairwise Gaussian basis in a few simple reductions. Our result suggests that the LLL algorithm is quite effective to compute a basis with all three successive minima for three dimensional lattices.

  • In this study, the static load test and the load transfer test were carried out to evaluate the structural performance of the circular anchorage proposed by the previous study. Specimens were fabricated according to KCI-PS101 and ETAG 013. As a result of the static load test, it was verified that the displacement of the wedge and the strand was kept constant when the tensile force of 80% of the nominal strength of the strand was applied. In the load transfer test, it was confirmed that all the specimens satisfied the stabilization formula of KCI-PS101 and ETAG 013. Post-tensioned one-way slab with circular anchorage were fabricated to evaluate the flexural behavior. All specimens exhibited the same flexural behavior and maximum load. However, the specimen with circular anchorage were advantageous than the rectangular anchorage one in terms of crack control of the anchorage zone.

  • In this paper, we present a prototype system for controlling IoT home appliances via voice-based commands. A voice command has been widely deployed as one of unobtrusive user interfaces for applications in a variety of IoT domains. However, interoperability between diverse IoT systems is limited by several dominant companies providing voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Now due to their proprietary systems. A global IoT standard, oneM2M has been proposed to mitigate the lack of interoperability between IoT systems. In this paper, we deployed oneM2M-based platforms for a voice record device like a wrist band and LED control device like a home appliance. We developed all the components for recording voices and controlling IoT devices, and demonstrate the feasibility of our proposed method based on oneM2M platforms and Google STT (Speech-to-Text) API for controlling home appliances by showing a user scenario for turning the LED device on and off via voice commands.

  • It is generally considered that only questionnares, collected at the time when each course close, have been evaluated & represented for all of the subjects. But all the result of each course can be actually evaluated using only the data taken from how to apply for at the construction site or at the factory, directly, for the period of at least one year, not just short months. This study is to evaluate and quantify the result and analyses using the data from questionnare concerning the level practically applied to each process at construction site. 1st for three(3) months, 2nd for six(6) months, 3rd for nine(9) months, finally 4th for twelve (12) months, one year These questionnares have been distributed for same people four(4) times to find out what to, how to be applied with each subject.

  • Let A denote the set {$a{\in}M_n{\mid}a{\geq}0$, $tr(a)=1$}, $St(M_n)$ the set of all states on $M_n$, and $PS(M_n)$ the set of all pure states on $M_n$. We show that there are one-to-one correspondences between A and $St(M_n)$, and between the set of all extreme points of A and $PS(M_n)$. We find a necessary and sufficient condition for a state on $M_{n1}{\oplus}{\cdots}{\oplus}M_{nk}$ to be extended to a pure state on $M_{n1}+{\cdots}+_{nk}$.

  • We report herein an in vitro anticancer evaluation of a series of seven curcumin analogues (3a-g). The National Cancer Institute (NCI US) Protocol was followed and all the compounds were evaluated for their anticancer activity on nine different panels (leukemia, non small cell lung cancer, colon cancer, CNS cancer, melanoma, ovarian cancer, renal cancer, prostate cancer and breast cancer) represented by 60 NCI human cancer cell lines. All the compounds showed significant anticancer activity in one dose assay (drug concentration $10{\mu}M$) and hence were evaluated further in five dose assays (0.01, 0.1, 1, 10 and $100{\mu}M$) and three dose related parameters $GI_{50}$, TGI and $LC_{50}$ were calculated for each (3a-g) in micro molar drug concentrations (${\mu}M$). The compound 3d (NSC 757927) showed maximum mean percent growth inhibition (PGI) of 112.2%, while compound 3g (NSC 763374) showed less mean PGI of 40.1% in the one dose assay. The maximum anticancer activity was observed with the SR (leukemia) cell line with a $GI_{50}$ of $0.03{\mu}M$. The calculated average sensitivity of all cell lines of a particular subpanel toward the test agent showed that all the curcumin analogues showed maximum activity on leukemia cell lines with $GI_{50}$ values between 0.23 and $2.67{\mu}M$.
