An Analysis of the Influence Factors on Perceived Value and Loyalty of On-line Game User in China (중국 온라인 게임 이용자의 인지가치 및 충성도 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • For the rapid growth of Chinese on-line game market in this decade, it became more necessary to study Chinese on-line game industry, business strategy, and, especially the behavioral characteristics of on-line game users. In spite of these necessities, there were a few studies on these research fields in China. The current study investigated the relationships among perceived price, perceived quality, the flow, perceived value, and loyalty of Chinese on-line game user. In addition, we tested the influence factors on perceived value and game user loyalty of on-line game user through AMOS method. Results showed that perceived value and game loyalty are positively related perceived price and the flow, the flow and perceived value respectively.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze representation of characters of AOS online-game in order to find out the meanings of ontological game characters. This study selects characters of on-line game to analyze representations of game characters by Pierre L$\acute{e}$vy's ontological theory. The characters which represented in on-line games reproduced by costume play in off-line world reflect human desire and construct human existence. Online game character is an existing substance, which could expand human experiences by crossing virtual game world and reality in digital era.

  • Recently, the mobile game market is growing due to the extension of mobile devices and internet. The mobile games are became a popular culture in society. But the existing mobile games have two simple forms. There are tow models in the mobile games. The first is as follows. The user downloads a game one time and play the game at off-line field. The second is as follows. The user play a battle game at on-line field. In the paper, we propose a new on-line "tug of war" game model which the user can play two kinds of game. They are the on-line battle mode game and the character raising mode game. Thus, this game model is different to existing mobile games and innovative model in mobile game market. This paper proposes a new research field in mobile game market with the characteristic that the user tan play two modes. One mode is the on-line tug of war battle mode and the other is the character raising mode.

  • The social interest for collaborative learning and educational game has been increased. In this paper, we investigates the educational value of collaborative learning and game. Based on this investigation, we propose an educational on-line game model for collaborative learning. Although the proposed model is still conceptual design, it sufficiently shows that on-line RPG game can be a good collaborative learning method for young children. In detail, we speculate about the conventional educational method performed in normal school. And then, we describes the elements of a computer game which complies with the real collaborative learning program.

  • The Korean on-line game industry is going through a rapid change. The future business environments for potential on-line game companies are very uncertain due to the new service and the different market trends. In this paper, I propose the use of morphological analysis approach for scenario generation about the future of the On-line game industry. The stages of research process were as follows; Firstly, digital contents analysis and key issues were drawn on IPTV in the on-line game industry. Secondly, each key issue was analyzed and the influence factors and directivity flow were found. Thirdly, highly probable future on-line game industry scenarios were derived. In this case, morphological analysis. On the basis of the developed scenarios, I formulated some implications for business strategy of a potential on-line game companies.

  • In this paper, we developed a system for large scale on-line interactive game server based on Platform as a Service(PaaS). Small and medium sized game developing companies have various aspects of limitation to launch a large scale on line game site. By using the system proposed in this paper, small and medium sized game developing companies can easily publish their games into market.

  • Game industry developed much from fast development of an information communication technology and an internet technology.   • This research was conducted in an attempt to understand human lifestyles in on-line game world. Q methodology was used to investigate players in Mabinogi, which is an on-line game(MMORPG). Based on 82 behavior statements, 6 types of on-line game lifestyle were found : Self -Enhancer, Self -Expressionist, Relation-Oriented, Isolation -Antisocial, Social Contributor, and Self-Interest. The behavior patterns of the 6 types were then compared to identify similarities and differences amongst them in psychological meanings and values in the on-line game life. The results showed that the lifestyles in on-line game world encompass both the reflection of the lifestyles in the real world and also the creation of new life patterns that players desire. The process of developing lifestyles in the online game world illustrates the emergence and evolution of human life on new social environment which is established by digital technology. On-line game world can be defined as new life space in which people is able to create new identity and new culture.

  • Human resources required in society of knowledge and information are those who not only learn about knowledge and information but also apply those acquired sources to creatively trouble-shoot issues through independent or cooperative relationship. This study is to clarify that there is a positive effect from use of on-line game by youth as youth may have an opportunity to learn the competence required by present and future society of knowledge and information. Moreover, this study is to propose that positive competence may be acquired through on-line game and that the systematic device is required to show the classification of competence from game under characteristics of users. For upright settlement of gaming culture, game companies and the government are required to cooperate actively. Therefore, it is expected that the data from this study will be used as basis of studies of development of youth on-line game competence Quotient to grant upright gaming culture and youth on-line game competence Quotient.
