Internet-based retail business spreads rapidly in Korea. Companies are trying to develop and use various strategic capabilities. The strategies employed by those companies include activities related to the design of shopping sites, market positionsing, facilitation of purchasing process, payment mechanism, and the provision of various consumer services. However, the success of these strategies depends on various environmental factors and internal capability of the companies. Especially, balancing activities performed on-line with those performed off-line is suggested to be essential. In this study, we examined three successful Internet shopping mall companies and compared them to draw useful guidelines for balancing shopping mall strategies - on - line vs. off - line. These three companies were selected because they are all considered sucessful by now, but brought different backgrounds.

Methanolic and aqueous extracts from 37 seaweed species (10 green and 27 brown seaweeds) collected from Jeju Island coast were prepared at high ($70^{\circ}C$) and room ($20^{\circ}C$) temperatures and examined for cytotoxic activity against 4 tumor cell lines: U937 (human monoblastoid leukemia cell line), HL60 (human promyelocytic leukemia cell line), HeLa (woman cervical carcinoma cell line) and CT26 (mouse colon carcinoma line). Both MeOH extracts of Desmarestia tabacoides and Dictyota dichotoma possessed strong cytotoxic activities against all the tumor cell lines tested, but the aqueous extract exhibited no activity. On the other hand Ecklonia cava showed strong cytotoxic activities for the $20^{\circ}C$ aqueous extract against the three tumor cells except HeLa cell. Sagassum coreanum and Sagassum siliquastrum $20^{\circ}C$ aqueous extracts also exhibited strong cytotoxic activities against U937, HL60, HeLa cells. Even though green seaweeds showed less activity than brown seaweeds, $20^{\circ}C$ aqueous extracts of Codium contractum and Codium fragile exhibited strong cytotoxic activities against HL60 or CT26 cells, respectively.

While the utility of the number line is considerable, articulating its conceptual foundation is often neglected in school mathematics. We suggest that it is important to build up strong conceptual foundations in the earlier grades so that number lines can be used in a more meaningful way and that any misconceptions associated with the number line can be prevented or intervened. This paper addresses unit, direction, and origin as the key elements of number lines and presents activities from Davydov's curriculum for early grades that promote exploration of those key elements and may resolve some students' misconceptions. As shown in sample activities from Davydov's curriculum, this paper suggests that students can broaden their perspectives on the number line and use it versatilely in various areas of mathematics learning when they deeply engage in the construction of a number line and have flexibility in interpreting the relationships between key number line elements.

본 연구는 사회적 관계 중심의 SNS 이용에 따른 SNS에서 자기표현을 사진 올리기라는 시각적 표현 방식을 중심으로 분석하고, SNS를 통한 다양한 온라인 네트워크 활동이 오프라인 모임 참여에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하고, 이에 따른 삶의 만족도를 비교, 분석해 보았다. 분석 결과, 사회적 관계 중심으로 SNS를 이용할수록 SNS에 사진 올리기라는 시각적 자기표현은 매우 활발한 것으로 나타나, SNS가 사회적 관계 유지 및 자기표현에 중요한 채널이라고 인식할수록 사회적 관계성을 나타내는 다양한 사진들을 올리는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 사회적 관계 중심의 SNS 이용도가 높고, 친구들과 찍은 사진을 많이 올릴수록 오프라인의 모임 참여도가 높은 것으로 나타나, 온라인 네트워크를 통한 사회적 관계망 활동이 오프라인 모임 참여에도 유의미한 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이에 따른 삶의 만족도도 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Recently many research activities on the diagnosis of stator winding insulation of large rotating machines have been reported. Capacitive couplers are widely used as sensors for on-line partial discharge (PD) measurement of high voltage rotating machines. This paper presents laboratory test to compare Stator Slot Coupler (SSC), Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD), 80 [pF] coupler and 500 [pF] coupler for on-line PD measurement of rotating machines. And a novel on-line monitoring system for an insulation diagnosis is proposed.

이 연구는 온라인 학습커뮤니티 보조의 팀 학습(Online-Community Assisted Team Learning: OCATL)이 대학생의 '학업성취도'와 '공유된 정신모형(Shared Mental Model: SMM)'에 미치는 효과를 검증해내는데 있다. 각기 다른 지역에 소재하는 대학교의 대학생을 대상으로 2학기 동안 두 개의 연구가 실시되었다. 우선, 연구1에서는 OCATL을 실시하고 대학생의 학업성취도에 변화에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 133명(남학생 80명, 여학생 53명)의 참가 대학생들의 OCATL 참여 전 후 학점에서의 평점평균(GPA)를 사용하여 비교하였다. OCATL 활동에는 '오리엔테이션', '협동학습 세미나', '온라인 학습커뮤니티 보조의 학기별 16시간 이상의 팀 학습', '최종보고서 제출'의 과정이 포함되었다. OCATL 활동 전후의 학점에서의 점수변화를 t검증을 통해 비교한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<.05). 또한, 연구2에서는 OCATL을 실험집단(10팀)에 제공하고 통제집단(15팀)에는 온라인 학습 커뮤니티 보조를 제외한 팀학습을 하도록 하여 활동이 종료된 후에 SMM에서의 척도 점수를 비교하였다. 실험집단과 통제집단의 총 학생수는 74명이었다. SMM 측정은 Johnson(2011)이 개발한 SMM 척도의 단축문항지를 사용하였다. 분석결과, 팀 학습 이후 측정한 SMM 점수에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 다변인분산분석(MANOVA) 결과, 온라인 학습 커뮤니티 환경을 지원된 팀학습 실험집단과 통제집단 간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한 SMM의 하위 구성변인을 종속변인으로 하고 집단을 독립변인으로 한 단변랑 분산분석(ANOVA) 결과, '일반과제와 팀지식', '일반과제와 의사소통기술', '팀원과 과제에 대한 태도', '팀역동과 상호작용', '팀 자원과 활동환경', '팀만족도' 점수에서 실험처치 후 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다($p$ <.05).

Recently many research activities on the diagnosis of stator winding insulation of high-voltage motors have been reported. Most of them utilize a trend analysis of partial discharges. In this paper, a novel on-line monitoring system for an insulation diagnosis is proposed. This system displays magnitude and phase angle distribution of partial discharge. The partial discharge activities can be interpreted more precisely by these techniques.

The spread of internet media is accelerating companies to create their own on-line brand community as one of their marketing communication tools because of the advantages in terms of cost-saving and raising their brand loyalty. The purpose of this study was to examine how the consumer's activities in the customer self-driven on line fashion brand community ultimately affect building a structural relationship between brand attitude and brand loyalty. In order to conduct this study, on-line field survey was conducted including a series of filtering questions measuring respondent's level of the community participation. SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used for the structure equation modeling. The result of empirical analysis showed that the attachment and the loyalty of online community have significant influences on brand attitude and brand loyalty. Also, brand attitude partly played a role as a mediating variable in the path to influence brand loyalty. Lastly, the mediating effects of brand attitude may depend on participation level of these online fashion brand community relationships.

Recently, some fashion retailers have initiated sustainable actions in the form of corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to address consumers' social concerns. This study intends to combine the concept of CSR motivation attributions with brand extension literature in order to examine how consumers' trust of a parent brand affects their CSR motivation attributions and ultimately their attitudes towards parent-brand CSR activities and sustainable extension lines. A self-administered online survey was conducted using scenarios describing a fast fashion retailer introducing a sustainable line. Data from 303 female U.S. consumers, aged between 18 and 34 years, were used for the statistical analysis. Data analyses were conducted using SPSS 21.0 for descriptive analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and regression analysis. The results revealed that all hypotheses were supported. The findings show that consumers' trust of a parent brand has an indirect impact on positive attitudes towards the parent brand's CSR activities as well as the sustainable extension product line, mediating positive evaluations of the brand's social CSR motivations. In addition, this study suggests consumers' prior trust of the parent brand is a variable that affects consumers' evaluation of CSR motivation sincerity. Marketing suggestions and thoughts based on the findings of this study were provided.

Baicalein, one of the major flavonoid in Scutellaria baicalensis, has been known for its effects on proliferation and apoptosis of many tumor cell lines. Most biological effects of baicalein are thought to be from its antioxidant and prooxidant activities. In this report, baicalein was found to induce apoptosis in HL60 human promyelocytic leukemia cell line. Baicalein treatment induced DNA fragmentation and typical morphological features of apoptosis. To elucidate the mechanism of baicalein-induced apoptosis, the activities of the members of caspase family were measured. Interestingly caspase 2, 3, and 6 were significantly activated whereas caspase 1, 8, and 9 were not activated, suggesting selective involvement of specific caspases. Further, treatment with caspase inhibitors also supports the involvement of caspase 2 in apoptosis process. Although it has been reported that baicalein can induce apoptosis through many caspase pathways, the present study indicates that caspase 2 not caspase 9 pathway may be the important step in apoptosis on HL60 cell line.
