저염 우렁쉥이 젓갈의 가공 및 품질특성 (Processing and Quality Characteristics of Low-salt Fermented Ascidian Halocynthia roretzi)

  • This study examined the development of a low-salt fermented seafood product using an ascidian (Halocynthia roretzi), and the optimum processing conditions and quality characteristics of the low-salt fermented ascidian (LSA). The optimum processing conditions for the LSA were as follows. The ascidian was shelled and its muscle sliced into 5 mm widths. This was soaked in a 10% salt and 1% sodium erythorbate solution for 20 min. The solution was drained and then the muscle was soaked in 0.1% sodium bisulfite solution for 1 min. To this was added a 1:1 mixture of anchovy sauce and rice gruel, and it was fermented at $5^{\circ}C$ for 15 days. The moisture content and salinity of the LSA were 75.0-75.4% and 8.0-8.5%, respectively. During salt-fermentation at $5^{\circ}C$ for 20 days, the amino-N content of the LSA increased, and the texture softened gradually. The viable cell counts in early salt-fermentation were $4.2-4.5{\times}10^4CFU/g$, and this decreased gradually. The ratio of saturated fatty acids tended to increase in early salt-fermentation, while that of polyunsaturated fatty acids decreased slightly. Chemical experiments and sensory evaluation showed that the dipping treatment in 1% sodium erythorbate solution and 0.1% sodium bisulfite solution resulted in a good color and prevented browning of the salt-fermented ascidian meat. Moreover, adding anchovy sauce and rice gruel mixture improved the flavor of the LSA.

  • Rubber materials are widely used for anti-vibration in various industries such as railways, automobile, and aviation. However, various factors hinder the accurate prediction of mechanical properties and lifetime of these materials. Particularly, a stress softening phenomenon Mullins effect greatly affects the accuracy of test results by reducing the initial peak stress. Although the Mullins effect has been studied previously, research on its temperature dependence is lacking. In this study, we performed experiments to estimate the temperature dependence of the Mullins effect. Dumbbell specimens made of natural rubber (NR65) was mounted on a stress softening tester and placed in a heat chamber, where they were tested at temperature of 25, 50, and $80^{\circ}C$. Further, five test sets, each consisting of 10 loading/unloading cycles were sequentially performed at predetermined time intervals. Based on the test results, we assessed the effect of temperature and time interval on stress softening and recovery.

넙치 간에 있어 가수분해 효소의 부분정제 및 특성규명 (Partial purification and characterization of phosphatidylcholine hydrolyzing enzyme from liver membrane of flounder , Paralichtys olivervaceus)

  • 본 실험은 넙치 (Paralichthys olivaceus) 간으로부터 membrane부분에 존재하는 PC 가수분해 효소의 특성에 대해 조사하였다. 먼저 간 조직을 초고속 원심 분리기와 nonion-detergent인 1% triton X - 100을 이용하여 membrane 부분을 분리하였으며, Heprain-Sepharose CL-6B 칼럼과 Heparin-5PW 칼럼을 이용하여 분리정제 하였다. 얻어진 PC 가수분해효소에 대한 반응 ․ 생성물을 확인하기 위해 autoradiography를 실시하였다. 지용성 부분의 결과에서 transphosphatidylation 반응의 결과물인 PEtOH을 형성하는 것으로 보아 PC-PLD임을 알 수 있었다. 얻어진 PC 가수분해효소에 대한 생화학적 특성을 조사한 결과 적정 pH가 6.5이하인 산성 조건 및 $37^\circ{C}$의 배양온도에서 최고 활성을 나타내었으며, 이가 이온들에 대한 영향의 경우 칼슘은 1.67mM 농도에서 최고 활성을 나타냈으나, 마그네슘은 활성에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 각종 세포막 기질에 대한 영향을 조사한 결과 PC는 $0.75\mu{M}$, PIP2는 $2.35\mu{M}$, PE는 $26.8\mu{M}$ 농도에서 최고 활성을 나타내었다. 이상의 결과부터 넙치 간조직의 막층부분에 존재하는 PC를 가수분해효소는 PC-PLD가 존재함을 알 수 있었다.

북서태평양 공해의 원양오징어채낚기 어획조사 (Fishing investigation of neon flying squid by jigging fishery in the high seas of the Northwest Pacific)

  • To investigate the catches of squid jigging fishery, a series of fishing experiments was conducted in the high seas of the Northwest Pacific($40^{\circ}-43^{\circ}N$, $150^{\circ}-155^{\circ}E$) during the period of 1 August to 22 October 2005 by commercial fishing vessel. The number of 142 test fishing was carried out in the Northwest Pacific during 83days. The total catch were 47,524kg as 4 squid species and CPUE was $8.9kg/line{\cdot}day$. CPUE showed high values in the frontal zone during the survey. Main squid species caught from the experimental fishing were the neon flying squid, Ommastrephes bartrami(96.8%) and the boreopacific gonate squid, Gonatopsis borealis(3.2%). Dorsal mantle length of the neon flying squid were increased by the time and increasing of the hook size. Loss rate of the neon flying squid in the water showed the highest values in 28.2% compare to the others. And the loss rate of the front roller and in the air were 1.1% and 1.0%, respectively.

슬개골 연골연화증의 무작위대조군 연구 최근 5년간의 경향 분석: 중국지식기초설시공정(中國智識基礎設施工程)(CNKI) 검색을 중심으로 (A Review of Randomized Controlled Trial Studies during 5 Years for Treatment of Chondromalacia Patella Using China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database)

  • Objectives This study was conducted to investigate randomized controlled trial studies about clinical treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for chondromalacia patellae. Methods We searched randomized controlled trial studies about traditional Chinese medicine treatment for chondromalacia patella through China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). 27 articles published from 2015-2019 were finally chosen and analyzed by published year, number of samples, evaluation criteria, treatment duration, treatment method. Results Various treatments such as acupuncture therapy, herbal medicine, moxibustion therapy, manipulation, external treatment were practiced in China. Most of them were combined with western medicine or injection, rehabilitation therapy. Conclusions There were diverse studies about traditional Chinese medical treatment for chondromalacia patellae in China. In Korea, more clinical research about chondromalacia patellae is still needed. This study will be helpful for future research on Korean medicine for chondromalacia patellae.

대황견우산(大黃牽牛散) 에탄올 추출물의 Methicillin 내성 Staphylococcus aureus에 대한 항균활성 연구 (A Study on Antibacterial Activity of Daehwanggeonwoo-san(Dahwangqianniu-san) Ethanol Extract against Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus)

  • Objectives The objective of this study is to determine the antimicrobial effect of Daehwanggyeonu-san(Dahwangqianniu-san,DGE) and synergistic effects with antibiotics oxacillin, ampicillin, and gentamicin against Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA). Methods The antibacterial activity of DGE extract was evaluated againest MRSA strains by using the Disc diffusion method, broth microdilution method(minimal inhibitory concentration; MIC), checkerboard dilution test. The checkerboard dilution test was used to examined synergetic effect of oxacillin, ampicillin, gentamicin, ciprofloxacin with DGE extract. Results DGE showed antimicrobial activity against MRSA with an MIC value of $125{\sim}250{\mu}g/mL$. In the checkerboard test, the interation of DGE with all tested antibiotics produced almost synergy or partial synergy against MRSA. Conclusions This study shows that DGE reduced the MICs of several antibiotics tested, and a remarkable antibacterial effect of DGE, with membrane permeability enhancers and ATP synthase inhibitors. This study can be a valuable source for the development of a new drug with low MRSA resistance.

Si 기판위에 형성된 ZnO 나노입자의 열처리 온도변화에 따른 구조적 성질과 전자적 성질에 관한 연구

  • ZnO는 상온에서 에너지 밴드갭이 3.37 eV 이고 엑시톤 속박에너지가 60 meV 인 넓은 에너지 띠를 가진 반도체이다. ZnO 반도체는 고에너지 영역에서 광투과율 및 에너지 수집율이 큰 특성을 가지고 있기 때문에 단파장 영역에서 작동하는 발광 다이오드나 반도체레이저 소자 응용에 사용되고 있다. 이와 더불어 액정디스플레이, 유기발광소자 및 태양전지에서 투명 산화물 전극으로 많은 응용이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 p-type Si 기판 위에 ZnO 나노입자 형성과 구조적 성질과 전자적 성질에 대하여 조사하였다. ZnO 나노입자를 형성하기 위해 ethanol에 zinc acetate dehydrate (5 wt%)을 적절히 분산시킨 $Zn(CH_3COO)_2H_2O\;+\;CH_3OH$ 용액을 스핀 코팅하여 산소 분위기에서 각각 $300^{\circ}C$, $500^{\circ}C$, $700^{\circ}C$$900^{\circ}C$로 각각 2시간 동안 열처리 하였다. X-ray 회절 실험 결과는 열처리 온도에 관계없이 ZnO (0001)의 피크가 관측되었다. 원자힘 현미경 이미지상으로 열처리 온도에 따른 ZnO 나노입자의 표면상태의 변화와 나노입자의 크기의 변화를 확인하였다. X-ray 광전자 분광 스펙트럼 결과는 Zn $2p_{3/2}$와 O 1s의 전자상태 스펙트럼을 분석하여 ZnO 나노입자가 형성됨을 보여주었다. 본 연구를 통하여 용액방법을 사용하여 제작된 ZnO 나노입자의 열처리 온도변화에 따른 구조적 성질과 전자적 성질을 이해하는데 도움을 줄 것이다.

지도학습 알고리즘 기반 3D 노지 작물 구분 모델 개발 (Development of 3D Crop Segmentation Model in Open-field Based on Supervised Machine Learning Algorithm)

  • 3D open-field farm model developed from UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) data could make crop monitoring easier, also could be an important dataset for various fields like remote sensing or precision agriculture. It is essential to separate crops from the non-crop area because labeling in a manual way is extremely laborious and not appropriate for continuous monitoring. We, therefore, made a 3D open-field farm model based on UAV images and developed a crop segmentation model using a supervised machine learning algorithm. We compared performances from various models using different data features like color or geographic coordinates, and two supervised learning algorithms which are SVM (Support Vector Machine) and KNN (K-Nearest Neighbors). The best approach was trained with 2-dimensional data, ExGR (Excess of Green minus Excess of Red) and z coordinate value, using KNN algorithm, whose accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score was 97.85, 96.51, 88.54, 92.35% respectively. Also, we compared our model performance with similar previous work. Our approach showed slightly better accuracy, and it detected the actual crop better than the previous approach, while it also classified actual non-crop points (e.g. weeds) as crops.

  • 넓은 맥락에서, 자생식물은 인공적인 보호나 재배 없이 특정 지역에서 자연적으로 발생하고 번성하는 식물로, 그들이 생존을 위해 가장 적합한 환경에서 자랍니다. 이러한 식물들은 유전자 자원, 번식 재료 및 생명공학 자산으로서 상당한 잠재력을 갖추고 있으며, 식용, 의약, 그리고 장식용 등 다양한 분야에서 발전의 가능성이 있습니다. 자생식물의 가능성을 활용하기 위해, 우리의 목표는 자생식물의 활용, 효과, 유효성분, 추출 방법 등에 초점을 맞춘 국내 특허 분석을 통해 가치 있는 정보를 제공하는 것이었습니다. 한국 산림청에서 등록된 국가 표준 식물 목록을 활용하여, 자생식물과 자생식물 식물 종자 사용과 관련된 988건의 특허에 대한 유효한 데이터를 확보했습니다. 이 분석은 특허의 종합적 검토를 통해 연구 패턴, 주요 기술 수준 및 신흥 트렌드를 밝혀내는 목적이 있었습니다. 결과적으로, 특허 분석을 통해 연구 트렌드와 현재 기술 수준을 확인하고, 자생식물을 활용한 향후 특허 출원을 위한 정보를 제공하기 위한 것입니다.

  • The Korean Society of Heart Failure guidelines aim to provide physicians with evidence-based recommendations for diagnosing and managing patients with heart failure (HF). In Korea, the prevalence of HF has been rapidly increasing in the last 10 years. HF has recently been classified into HF with reduced ejection fraction (EF), HF with mildly reduced EF, and HF with preserved EF (HFpEF). Moreover, the availability of newer therapeutic agents has led to an increased emphasis on the appropriate diagnosis of HFpEF. Accordingly, this part of the guidelines will mainly cover the definition, epidemiology, and diagnosis of HF.
