우리는 Machholz 혜성(C/2004Q2)의 가시광선 영역 스펙트럼 (황성원 외, 2009, JASS, v. 26, p. 279)과 기존의 연구 문헌에 나오는 Austin, Swift-Tuttle, Brorsen-Metcalf 및 de Vico 혜성의 가시광선 영역 고분산 분광 자료와 비교 분석해 방출선의 파장 및 그 원인이 되는 물질을 확인했다. 그 결과 Machholz 혜성의 방출선은 대부분 $C_2,\;NH_2,\;CN,\;H_2O^+$에 의한 것으로 나타났으며, 기존의 혜성 자료에서 알려지지 않은 미확인 방출선도 발견됐다. 또한, 주로 장파장 영역에서 나타나는 OH 방출선을 지구대기의 OH 방출선 자료와 비교 분석한 결과, Maccholz 혜성 고유의 OH일 가능성이 있는 방출선도 확인됐다. 본 연구에서 정리한 Machholz 혜성 및 다른 혜성들과의 비교 자료는 데이터베이스화하여 공개한다.

Antifungal metabolites were isolated from a culture of Pseudomonas aurantiaca IB5-10. Chemical structures of the metabolites were elucidated as phenazine-1-carboxylic acid (PCA; 1), 2-hydroxyphenazine (2-OH-PHZ; 2), and cyclo-(L-Pro-L-Val; 3), respectively, based on spectroscopic methods. Among them, 3 was isolated for the first time from this strain. The antifungal activities of 1-3 were evaluated against a variety of plant pathogens. To the best of our knowledge, the antifungal activities of 3 against plant fungal pathogens have been evaluated for the first time in this work. PCA (1) showed the most potent antifungal activities against Phytophthora capsici, Rhizoctonia solani AG-1(IA), and Pythium ultimum with MICs (${\mu}g/ml$) of less than 1.0, 1.3, and 2.0, respectively. On the other hand, 2-OH-PHZ (2) showed potent antifungal activity against R. solani AG-1(IA) with the MIC (${\mu}g/ml$) of 2.0, whereas it showed moderate antifungal activity against P. ultimum with the MIC (${\mu}g/ml$) of 50.0. In addition, 3 showed antifungal activity against only R. solani AG-1(IA).

EU-Reach Regulation 대비 유해물질 대체약품 개발 프로그램인 SVHC(Substance of very high concern)로부터 환경친화적인 방염제의 스크리닝으로 LOI 30이상의 Halogen-free 유기계 Organo-Phosphonate 화합물들이 유력한 후보로 선별되었으며 여기에 반응형 저에너지 타입 아(메타)크릴계 광기능성기를 도입하여 에너지 절감형이면서 친환경적인 가공약제를 개발 하였다. 먼저 열경화형 타입중에서도 면섬유에 취급이 용이한 DMP(dimethylphosphite)를 출발물질로한 N-Methylol type의 열경화형 인/질소 타입 알코올 함유 면섬유용 방염제를 제조한후 -OH기에 광반응형 아크릴 기능성기를 도입하여 개시제와 함께 광경화 방염가공 후 물성에 관한 특성를 관찰 하였다.

질화 알루미늄을 AlO(OH)로부터 가장 낮은 온도에서 얻은 γ- alumina와 무수 염화 알루미늄 그리고 금속 알루미늄 분말을 출발물질로 하여 합성하는 연구를 하였다. 특히 반응온도에 주목하고 질화 알루미늄을 합성하였고 그 반응 조건들을 결정하였으며 그 결과에 대하여 논의하였다. 금속 알루미늄과 질소 가스의 반응은 비교적 낮은 온도에서 진행 되었고, 이 반응에 대한 반응 파라미터를 속도론적으로 연구하였다.

노주(老洲) 오희상(吳熙常)(1763-1833)은 18세기 후반기부터 19세기 전반에 걸쳐 홍직필(洪直弼)과 더불어 당시 기호 낙론을 대표하는 산림학자이다. 그는 율곡(栗谷)으로부터 비롯되는 기호학파의 학설을 충실히 계승하는 한편, 김창협(金昌協)으로부터 연원하는 낙학의 이론적 입장을 보다 명확히 하면서 낙론의 종지를 확고히 하였다. 호락논쟁의 연장선상에서 호론(湖論)에 대한 비판적 견해를 제시하는 것은 물론, 18세기 중반 이후 낙론 내부에서 제기된 이설(異說)에 대해 비판적 견해를 제시하며 낙론의 학문적 입장을 굳건히 하고자 하였다. 본고에서는 오희상의 성리설을 사상사적인 맥락을 중심으로 그 내용과 위상을 확인하고, 그의 학문 활동이 주로 호락논쟁의 연장선상에서 놓여 있었던 만큼 그의 호론에 대한 비판적 견해에 유의하면서 그의 성리설 체계를 고찰하였다. 그가 가졌던 문제의식의 중심에는 인간 도덕성 실현을 위한 현실적 근거의 체계화가 자리하고 있다. 인간의 순선한 도덕성의 실재성과 이의 구체적인 실천을 정초하기 위해 세계 구성과 도덕의 실천을 리기론적으로 해명하고자 하였다. 그는 특히 도덕 실천의 근거로서 리의 순선성과 실재성을 확인하고, 그것의 현실적 실현을 위한 주체의 정초를 위해 리기 관계의 상함성에 주목하였다. 그가 심성에 대한 리기론적 이해를 통해 심성의 논리적 관계와 가치적 측면에 대한 해명을 제시한 것은 순선한 도덕성의 현실적 기반 구축과 이것의 실현, 즉 수양의 체계를 수립하는 데로 이어졌다. 따라서 오희상의 논의는 적어도 원리적 차원에서 만큼은 순선한 도덕성의 실재성과 본선한 도덕 주체의 확립을 이끌어 내고자 하는 방향이었으며, 현실적 측면에서도 이를 담보하고자 하는 방향으로 나갔다고 평가할 수 있다.

This paper is study about establishment with water membrane sprinkler in fire prevention block of special Building. The testing program was directed toward investigating the temperature of fire and adjacent room. The results of fire test indicated that under the test conditions in this study, adjacent room temperature is very low in compare with fire room temperature at operating of water membrane sprinkler. Therefore, if exclusion of smoking can be soluted, substitution of water membrance sprinkler in fire resistance wall of fire prevention block is possible.

In this paper, we study the structure of the hierarchical coding method of video signal which can contain the multi resolution video signals. To preserve the compatibility with the conventional coding methods. we accomplished a scalable structure using the subband coding, maintaining enoughly the international coding structure. The proposed scheme showed the low PSNR, a little, when compared with the conventional scheme, but showed a good image quality perceptually and proved to have a advantage in the H/W implementation in a view of processing speed.

A method for image compression based on decomposition is presented. We design the efficient coding technique for upper band image signals. This coding technique with directive 1-D DPCM is based on the statistical properties of upper bands. Lower band image signals is encoded using 2-D DPCM. The directive 1-D DPCM is performed, scanning upper bands according to edge direction. And then the predicted error signals of upper band sis coded using B1 and Huffman code, and the predicted error signals of lower band is coded using Huffman code. The proposed system shows improved performance when compared with other existing methods with respect to peak signal to noise ratio(PSMR) and human visual system(HVS) properties.

Medical imagies with high resolution are coded to be archived and communicated in MPACS. In this paper, we have studied on coding of Cardio-Angiography. Our coding technique is Subband-Vecter Quantization. This techniquec is irreversible coding method. This technique's advantages are removing blocking effect and edge degradation, adapting for drastic image change because of dye injection and fast decoding. We achieved good results fur Cardio-Angiography data, but the study on more sophiscated motion estimation techniques and VQ techniques must be performed.

Flywheel Energy Storage System(FESS) consists of a high speed flywheel with an integral motor/generator suspended on non contact bearings and in an evacuated housing. Permanent magnet machines as the FESS motor/generator are a popular choice, since there are no excitation losses which means substantial increase in the efficiency. In this paper, the structural design method of rotor retainer for a high speed motor/generator are presented.
