This ethnographic study aimed to understand the emotional labor of traditional performing artists who hide and control their emotions in performances and the components and characteristics of their emotional labor by means of in-depth interviews with traditional performing artists and Giorgi's analysis method. As a result of the analysis, first, the factors that lead to emotional labor of traditional performing artists can be divided into external and internal ones. The external factors arose from expressing various emotions while creating or suppressing their own emotions in an effort to draw out the emotions of the audience. Also, emotional labor occurred depending on the performance place, performance type and audience reaction. The internal factors consisted of the emotional burden experienced due to concerns over mistakes and audience satisfaction as they voluntarily commit themselves to the performance in order to satisfy the audience. Second, complex emotions that remain after the performance sometimes lead to aftereffects of emotional labor. Third, factors of emotional labor that originate from belonging to an organization had an influence, which resulted in their considering job change or resignation. Fourth, emotional labor arises from the specificity of the traditional performing arts field, that is, negative perceptions and unfair internal practices of traditional performing arts. The study showed that traditional performing artists relieve their emotional labor through hobbies and chatting with colleagues, and took the emotional labor as granted, not recognizing that the occupational emotional labor as emotional labor. This study is significant in that it recognized and analyzed traditional performing artists as emotional workers and focused on the emotional labor components of traditional performing artists.

Objectives: This study is designed to analyze the penetration performance into ceiling materials containing asbestos of scattering prevention agents and investigate the change in penetration depth and viscosity according to the dilution rate of anti-scattering agents diluted with distilled water. Methods: Five different types of scattering prevention agents were spread on plate-type asbestos ceiling materials. The penetration depth of each coated ceiling material was measured by energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) analysis, based on X-ray fluorescence (XRF) results of the non-coated ceiling materials. Test equipment installed the ceiling materials and 60 minutes were collected at a flow rate of $10{\ell}/min$ at a filter of 25 mm. Results: An EDS analysis of the cross-section of ceiling materials constructed with a scattering prevention agent revealed that potassium is detected in the process of penetrating hardener solidification and this element could be an indicator for infiltration. When anti-scattering agents with different viscosities were constructed and the penetration depth was analyzed by potassium detection assessment using EDS, the depth results with viscosities of 5.0, 2.5, and 1.9 cP were 98.5, 103, and $147{\mu}m$, respectively. Penetration performance improved with decrease in viscosity. Conclusions: For asbestos ceiling materials, it is concluded that a higher dilution rate of the scattering prevention agent leads to lower viscosity, and hence a deeper penetration depth from $156{\mu}m$ to 3 mm. The asbestos anti-scattering properties according to the penetration depth will be confirmed through further study.

This study investigated how learning motivation affects satisfaction with training and employment services and its performance for participants in government-supported job skill development program of the clothing industry so as to provide fundamental data for developing a training program that fosters professionals and relieves the labor shortage in the clothing industry. 180 copies of questionnaires were statistically analyzed by SPSSWIN 21.0. Most trainees were low-income citizens in their 40s and 50s. They were divided into highly educated or low-educated. The results of the research are as follows: when the trainees were motivated by the goals of getting a certificate or a job, employment service satisfaction levels were influenced meaningfully. Secondly, educational satisfaction levels and occupational ability development also scored highly. Therefore, it is important to strengthen instructors' competency. Instructors must be required to have onsite experience so that they can provide authentic education that can be applied to the work field. The government should establish a compulsory training session for the trainers along with an incentive program so that they can catch up with up-to-date technology and trend. Third, the research shows that supporting business startup and job placement is important. Follow-up management systems should be provided in cooperation with relevant institutions of employment and business startups. Either outsourcing or placement of professional advisors is also needed.

Objectives: For testing asbestos stabilizer products which are used for the maintenance and management of asbestos-containing materials, durability assessment should accompany the evaluation of basic properties and performance. Therefore, in this study we designed a testing method and constructed a database of durability performance, thereby providing basic data for reliability studies of asbestos stabilizer. Methods: Since the ceiling materials targeted in this study are interior materials, test conditions of 95% relative humidity and 60℃ temperature were designed in consideration of the effect of high relative humidity in summer and seasonal indoor temperatures. Plate-shaped specimens treated with asbestos stabilizers were maintained in a thermo-hygrostat for 5, 10, and 20 days, and then the asbestos scattering prevention rate was measured by air erosion testing. Results: The scattering concentration tended to increase with time under the single humidity condition, and exceeded the indoor air quality standard of 0.01 f/cc, during the 20 days of maintenance. On the other hand, there was little change according to the temperature condition. In the case of a complex condition with temperature and humidity, the results were similar to the humidity test, but the scattering concentration increased more sharply at 20 days. Conclusions: The main deterioration factor that affects the durability of asbestos stabilizer is humidity, and the deterioration is caused by a mechanism in which the stabilizer coated on the surface is re-dissolved by moisture and evaporates or the coating layer is peeled off, which is accelerated by high temperatures.

Purpose: This paper presents research evidence that the environmental design of the doffing area in a biocontainment unit (BCU) can have a measurable impact on increasing the safety of frontline healthcare workers (HCW) during doffing of high-level personal protective equipment (PPE), and proposes optimized biocontainment unit design. Methods: From 2016 to 2019, The SimTigrate Design Lab conducted 3 consecutive studies, focusing on ways in which the built environment may support or hinder safe doffing. In the first study, to identify the risky behaviors, we observed 56 simulation exercises with HCWs in 4 BCUs and 1 high-fidelity BCU mockup. In the second study, we tested the effectiveness of a redesigned doffing area on improving the HCWs performance and used simulation, observation, and rapid prototyping in 1 high-fidelity mockup of a doffing area. In a follow-up study, we used simulation and co-design with HCWs to optimize the design of a safer doffing area in a full-size pediatric BCU mock-up. Results: We identified 11 specific risky behaviors potentially leading to occupational injury, or contamination of the PPE, or of the environment. We developed design strategies to create a space for safer doffing. In the second study, in a redesigned doffing area, the overall performance of HCW improved, and we observed a significant decrease in the number of risky behaviors; some risky behaviors were eliminated. There was a significant decrease in physical and cognitive load for the HCWs. Finally, we propose an optimized layout of a BCU for a safer process of PPE doffing. Implications: The proposed BCU design supports better staff communication, efficiency, and automates safer behaviors. Our findings can be used to develop design guidelines for spaces where patients with other highly infectious diseases are treated when the safety of the patient-facing HCWs is of critical importance.

Despite the government 's efforts to reduce constructional disasters, it has been pointed out that the safety management cost of the Construction Technology Promotion Act does not reflect the actual site. Therefore, it is necessary to study the proper guideline of the safety management cost which can be used as the most fundamental measure to prevent construction accidents. Moreover for the securement of the reasonable safety management costs, it is important to calculate its appropriate rate. Thus, in this study, the appropriate rate of safety management cost was proposed by the construction cost & type based on the 111 execution plans of safety management cost, and the rate is analyzed to be 1/10 of the occupational safety and health management cost. The results of this study will be a guideline in improvement to the proper schedule rating system improvement and in implement of pilot projects.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to enhance the application of analytical method of polar solvents(alcohols) by GCOTC (gas chromatography open tubular column) through the system suitability test(SST) to estimate the whole chromatographic system performance(integral part). Methods: To perform the SST, carried out repeatability(n=6) as analytical method of polar solvents by GCOTC, got the retention time($t_R$), standard deviation(${\sigma}_{n-1}$) of $t_R$, baseline width($w_b=4{\sigma}_{n-1}$) and calculated dead time($t_m$) by $v_m=d^2{\pi}L(f/4)$ and $v_m=t_m$ x flow rate. Results: In this experiment, obtained the basic data, there were $t_m=2$ min, methanol($t_R=3.569$, ${\sigma}_{n-1}=0.01$, $w_b=0.04$), ethanol ($t_R=3.892$, ${\sigma}_{n-1}=0.004$, $w_b=0.016$), isopropanol($t_R=4.209$, ${\sigma}_{n-1}=0.004$, $w_b=0.016$). By using these data, calculated the corrected retention time($t_R{^{\prime}}$), capacity factor(k), separation factor(${\alpha}$), number of theoretical plate(n) and resolution($R_s$) for SST and got the good results. Conclusions: Through the SST, could reconfirm the whole chromatographic performance system(integral part) for analytical method of polar solvents by GCOTC. Therefore, this analytical method expect to be widely applied at the related areas.

Purpose : The objective of this study was to provide information about the need and perception of continuing education(CE) according to gender in physical therapists. This study also aimed to provide basic data for the improvement of quality of the CE program with physical therapists. Methods : The study analyzed basic data from Korea Physical Therapy Association regarding the 350 physical therapists in Gwangju metropolitan city (Male; 102, female; 248). The questionnaire consisted of 3 categories: general characteristics, need of CE, and perception. For need of CE and perception, it assessed using a 5-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using frequency analysis, and simple regression analysis using dummy variable. Results : The need of CE showed a weak positive correlation in the only the pediatric physical therapy according to gender in physical therapists (R2=.012) (p<.05). Both male and female physical therapists had the highest need in the musculoskeletal system, followed by nervous system. The perception of CE were not significantly correlated according to gender in physical therapists (p>.05). Both male and female physical therapists were high on the cyber-CE (Q4) and on the need for CE (Q1, Q2, Q3). Whereas, a lower score was found in category that CE helped in the performance of the work (Q6, Q7, Q8). Conclusion : In this study, there was little or no significant correlation between need and perception of CE according to gender in physical therapists. Both male and female physical therapists recognize the need for CE, whereas they are less satisfied the efforts of CE in the performance of the work. Therefore, improvement of CE through various programs should be made to enhance the perception of CE.
