  • n this thesis CAM(content Addressable Memory) generator and graphic display tool for run-plot sequence in automatic generation of CAM are presented. We show that implementing the layout generation, graphic menu, mouse driver, and data structure by using the basic classes is clear and easy in modification than the conventional procedural language. For the implementation of generator which is independent of design rule or process, we use the parameterized cell so that basic cell can be changed according to user's inputs. and perform the layout by means of placement and routing using pitch mathching. Finally, the display of CIF which generated and constitution of graphic menu for total run-plot sequence are explained.

  • LBS(Location Based Service) is one of the most important killer App. in the Smart-phone Era. The Smart-phone provide basically location informations using GPS, Wi-Fi AP, 3G ID as a location determination technology to supply LBS. Also it can use maps such as Google map and Daum map with Open API. Therefore, Smart-phone is regarded as the best platform to develop location based applications. In my paper, a location based smart-phone App., that is, "Real-Race App." is designed and implemented for applying events and marketing.

  • Object-oriented programming is often touted as promoting software reuse. However it is recognized that objected-oriented software often need to be restructured before it can be reused. refactoring is the process that changes the software structure to make it more reusable, easier to maintain and easire to be enhanced wit new functionalities. This paper desirbes experience gained and lessons learned from restructuring OODesigner, a Computer Aided Software Engineering(CASE) tool that supports Objects Modeling Technique(OMT). this tool supports a wide range of features such as constructing object modeler of OMT, managing information repository, documenting class resources, automatical generating C++ and java code, reverse engineering of C++ and Java cod, searching and reusing classes in the corresponding repository and collecting metrics data. although the version 1.x was developed using OMT(i.e the tool has been designed using OMT) and C++, we recognized that the potential maintenance problem originated from the ill-designed class architecture. Thus this version was totally restructured, resulting in a new version that is easier to maintain than the old version. In this paper, we briefly describe its restructuring process, emphasizing the fact that the Refactoring of the tool is conducted using the tool itself. Then we discuss lessons learned from these processes and we exhibit some comparative measurements of the developed version.

  • Advanced Life Support Systems(ALSS) are being studied to support human life during long-duration space missions. ALSS can be categorized into four subsystems: Crew, Biomass Production, Food Processing and Nutrition, Waste Processing and Resource Recovery. The System Studies and Modeling (SSM) team of New Jersey-NASA Specialized Center of Research and Training (NJ-NSCORT) has facilitated and conducted analyses of ALSS to address systems level issues. The underlying concept of the SSM work is to enable the effective utilization of information to aid in planning, analysis, design, management, and operation of ALSS and their components. Analytical tools and computer models for ALSS analyses have been developed and implemented for value-added information processing. The results of analyses heave been delivered through the internet for effective communication within the advanced life support (ALS) community. Several modeling paradigms have been explored by developing tools for use in systems analysis. they include objected-oriented approach for top-level models, procedureal approach for process-level models, and application of commercially available modeling tools such as $MATLAB^{R}$/$Simulink^{R}$. Every paradigm has its particular applicability for the purpose of modeling work. an overview is presented of the systems studies and modeling work conducted by the NJ-NSCORT SSM team in its efforts to provide systems analysis capabilities to the ALS community. The experience gained and the analytical tools developed from this work can be extended to solving problems encountered in general agriculture.

  • In recent decades, it has been known that the Discrete Event System Specification, or DEVS, formalism provides sound semantics to design a modular and hierarchical model of a discrete event system. In spite of this benefit, practitioners have difficulties in applying the semantics to real-world systems modeling because DEVS needs to specify a large size of sets of events and/or states in an unstructured form. To resolve the difficulties, this paper proposes an extension of the DEVS formalism, called the Structured DEVS formalism, with an associated graphical representation, called the DEVS diagram, by means of structural representation of such sets based on closure property of set theory. The proposed formalism is proved to be equivalent to the original DEVS formalism in their model specification, yet the new formalism specifies sets in a structured form with a concept of phases, variables and ports. A simplified example of the structured DEVS with the DEVS diagram shows the effectiveness of the proposed formalism which can be easily implemented in an objected-oriented simulation environment.

  • It is necessary for the resource management system to manage for the resource in distributed networking environment. Because of increasing the complexity of vast computer system and business environment, needs of RMS is increasing. Based on the common information model to use of objected oriented technology, through analysis of the reference model for the resource management system of the SNIA, we intend to implement the application program to manage the NGS system that consist of SSD and DRAM. To visualize, it is use the GUI Interface. It is possible for application program(Client) to detect and manage the system that consist of the NGS system. Also, status information that is divided into three cataloges(Minor/Major/Critical) can be displayed and it provide support of configuration functionality to manage devices.

  • The history of information system (IS) development methodology in Korea is less than 30 years. Korea introduced the structured development methodology in the public fields in 1980s, introduced the information engineering methodology in 1990s, and accepted and developed the objected oriented development methodology and the component based development methodology in 2000s. The history of IS development methodology in Korea is shorter than that of the world. Korea's IS development methodology started 10 year later compared with the world level. But it developed rapidly in 1990s and then grew to the world level in 2000s. This paper is the first research that it investigated the history of IS development methodology in Korea. This paper will give the people of IT industry the historical insights about IS development methodology and will help make a current and future strategic plan for IS development methodology. And it will provide researchers and policy makers with the insights and research ideas of future direction of information system development.

  • The analysis of visitor's behavior in Hallasan National Park was executed for a month in september, 1990. In the characteristics of trip purpose, the nature-oriented motive was 68.9% of the total. And in the characteristics of the accompanied, the ratio of such items as company, friends,2-3 persons and above 12 persons was generally high. The ratio of lunch box was 62.7% and the item of bring back waste treatment was 69.6% in the characteristic of activity. The degree of landscape satisfaction was 3.98 and comparatively high on considering the maximum degree of 5.0, but in the degree of facility, the degree of dissatisfaction was high. Therefore the degree of total satisfaction was 3.43. In the opinion of users, the entrance by order of arrival, the adoption of reserved system and the limitation of the entrance of a group were gen- orally objected but the adoptation of nature rest-rotation system was comparatively assented Specially, visitor center was rarely used but many visitor who has attended there positively think about it. In factor analysis, 4 factors were extracted. Facilitate, social. user behavior and natural property were the most affecting factor to psychological satisfaction test. Multiple regression results showed that cleanness, land-scape, safety, no. of wastebasket and crowdness items affected the total satisfaction variable in total and local area.

  • Recently, construction of reinforced concrete tall buildings is widely increased according to the improvement of material quality and design technology. Therefore, differential shortenings of columns due to elastic, creep, and shrinkage have been an important issue. But it has been neglected to predict the Inelastic behavior of RC structures even though those deformations make a serious problem on the partition wall, external cladding, duct, etc. In this paper, analysis system for prediction and compensation of the differential column shortenings considering time-dependent deformations and construction sequence is developed using the objected-oriented technique. Developed analysis system considers the construction sequence, especially time-dependent deformation in early days, and is composed of input module, database module, database store module, analysis module, and analysis result generation module. Graphic user interface(GUI) is supported for user's convenience. After performing the analysis, the output results like deflections and member forces according to the time can be observed in the generation module using the graphic diagram, table, and chart supported by the integrated environment.
