간호대학생의 성지식, 성태도, 생식건강증진행위에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sexual Knowledge, Sexual Attitude and Reproductive Health Promoting Behaviors in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 성지식, 성태도, 생식건강증진행위를 확인하고 이들의 상관관계 확인을 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 간호대학생 300명을 대상으로 설문하고 229부로 분석하였다. 연구도구는 Jeon(2004)의 성지식, Ho(2009)의 성태도, Jo(2014)의 생식건강증진행위 측정도구를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 일반적 특성은 실수와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, 성지식, 성태도, 생식건강증진행위는 평균과 표준편차를 이용하였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 성지식, 성태도, 건강증진행위 차이는 independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, 사후검정으로 Scheffe's test를 이용하였다. 상관관계는 Pearson's correlation coefficients로 분석하였다. 여학생의 성지식이 높았으며, 생식건강증진행위 교육은 저학년이 적절한 시기임을 알 수 있다. 또한, 성지식이 높을수록 생식건강증진행위가 높아 생식건강증진행위 향상을 위한 성교육의 필요성이 여전히 요구됨을 시사한다. 이에, 본 연구는 간호대학생의 생식건강을 위한 상담과 교육에 활용할 생식건강증진행위의 교육자료 개발에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

초등학생의 성교육 코칭프로그램 개발 및 성지식과 성태도에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Sexuality Education Coaching Program on Sex-related Knowledge and Attitude among Elementary School Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a sexuality education coaching program given to elementary school students in terms of sex-related knowledge and attitude. Methods: The participants were elementary school students in S city (Experimental group=21, Control group=23). Data were collected and the program was conducted from Feb. 15 to Apr. 15, 2013. The experimental group of 21 elementary school students in the fifth and sixth grades who received the sexuality education coaching program, 10 sessions in the three weeks. The control group of 23 elementary school students in the fifth and sixth grades from another school received, 2 sessions in the three weeks on sexuality education including physiology and sexual abuse prevention. Data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2$-test, independent t-test, repeated measures ANOVA, and utilized the SPSS program. Results: The experimental group showed significantly better sex-related knowledge and sex-related attitudes than the control group. Conclusion: Therefore, individualized approach with emphasis on the differences of their level of understanding and strengths should be considered in providing sexuality education coaching programs for elementary school students.

간호대학생의 결핵에 대한 지식 및 태도가 결핵감염 예방행위에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Knowledge, Attitudes and Prevention Behaviors for Tuberculosis Infection in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the relationship among knowledge, attitudes and prevention behaviors (PB) on tuberculosis (Tb) infection in nursing students. Methods: 268 subjects were recruited from two universities located in C D cities of Korea and data were collected utilizing self-reported questionnaires. Results: The mean scores of knowledge, attitudes and PB on Tb infection were 64.83, 3.18 and 2.97. The knowledge differed according to gender (t=-3.16, p=.002), grades (F=32.19, p<.001), educational experience about Tb (EETb) (F=10.59, p<.001), learning information about Tb (t=3.08, p=.002) and getting Tb: self or others (t=2.78, p=.006). The attitudes differed according to grades (F=7.71, p<.001) and EETb (F=2.68, p=.047). The PB differed according to grades (F=7.02, p<.001) and EETb (F=4.55, p=.004). Significant correlations were found between knowledge and PB (r=.20, p=001), attitudes and PB (r=.33, p<.001). The most significant factor influencing PB was attitudes with R2 value of 13.9% (F=11.81, p<.001). Conclusion: These findings indicate that knowledge and attitude adjustment may be necessary to improve PB for Tb infection in nursing students. Moreover further study is necessary to find out the ways to reinforce the level of attitudes. The results of the study can be utilized in educational programs for preventing Tb infection in nursing students.

장기기증에 대한 대학생들의 지식수준과 태도 (Level of Knowledge and Attitude about Organ Donation in An University Students)

  • Purpose. The purpose of this study was to investigate level of knowledge and attitude about organ donation in university and provide basic information on correct education and promotion. Method. The sample is consisted of 90 the students related to health and 90 general college students ; total 180 students in J city. The questionnaires were used to obtain the results. Data was collected from November 6th to 8th, 2013. For data analysis, the SPSS for window 12.0 K program was utilized to get descriptive statistics including the percentage, average, standard deviation and t-test. Results. Comparing the results between a series of health students and general college students, a series of health students showed high level of more knowledge and more positive attitude about organ donation than general college students. A series of health showed significant correlation but general college didn't show significant correlation. Conclusion. To educate correct knowledge draw positive attitude about organ donation is needed to improve the level of Knowledge and Attitude about organ donation.

간호대학생의 간호정보활용역량 강화프로그램이 근거기반실무 역량과 문제해결능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effectiveness of Nursing Information Literacy Competency Enhancement Program on Evidence-Based Practice Competencies and Problem Solving Skills in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 간호정보활용역량 강화프로그램을 개발하여 적용한 후 이 프로그램이 근거기반실무 역량(근거기반실무 지식, 태도, 기술)과 문제해결능력에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 시도되었다. 간호대학 2학년 학생 72명을 대상으로 한 단일군 전후설계 연구이다. 실험중재는 간호대학생에게 6회(총 8시간)의 간호정보활용역량 강화프로그램이 제공되었다. 간호정보활용역량 강화프로그램을 실시한 결과 간호대학생들의 근거기반실무 역량(근거기반실무 지식, 태도, 기술)과 문제해결능력이 실험전보다 유의하게 향상되었다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 간호대학에서 간호정보활용역량 강화프로그램을 활용하여 이들의 근거기반실무 역량 및 문제해결능력을 증진시킬 수 있는 기초자료를 마련하고자 한다.

The effects of team-based learning on nursing students' learning performance with a focus on high-risk pregnancy in Korea: a quasi-experimental study

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of team-based learning (TBL) on nursing students' communication ability, problem-solving ability, self-directed learning, and nursing knowledge related to high-risk pregnancy nursing. Methods: This quasi-experimental study used a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The participants were 91 nursing students allocated to an experimental group (n=45) and a control group (n=46). The experimental group received TBL lectures three times over the course of 3 weeks (100 minutes weekly) and the control group received instructor-centered lectures three times over the course of 3 weeks (100 minutes weekly). Data were collected by questionnaires from September to November, 2019. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test, paired t-test, and independent t-test. Results: After the intervention, the mean scores of problem-solving ability (t=-2.59, p=.011), self-directed learning (t=4.30, p<.001), and nursing knowledge (t=3.18, p=.002) were significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group. No significant difference in communication ability was found between the experimental and control group (t=1.38, p=.171) Conclusion: The TBL program was effective for improving nursing students' problem-solving ability, self-directed learning, and nursing knowledge. Thus, TBL can be considered an effective teaching and learning method that can improve the learning outcomes of high-risk pregnancy nursing in women's health nursing classes. The findings suggest that TBL will be helpful for future nursing students to develop the nursing expertise necessary for providing nursing care to high-risk pregnant women.

Gender Difference in Mediating Effects of Self-Efficacy for the Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) among College Students' STD Knowledge, Susceptibility, and Sexual Autonomy

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to examine the impact of self-efficacy in the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STD), knowledge of and susceptibility to STD, and the role of gender in sexual autonomy. Methods: Data were collected from 267 college students using self-report questionnaires during the period from the first to the twentieth of June 2015. Data were analyzed using $x^2$ test, Fisher's exact test, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, simple and multiple regression techniques with the PASW/WIN 20.0 program. Mediation analysis was performed according to the Baron and Kenny method and Sobel test. Results: In male students, self-efficacy for STD prevention showed a full mediating effect in the relationship between STD susceptibility and sexual autonomy (${\beta}$=-.08, p=.370). But in female students, it had a partial mediating effect (${\beta}$=-.25, p=.001). And self-efficacy for STD prevention showed partial mediating effects in the relationship between knowledge of STD and sexual autonomy in the both male (${\beta}$=.25, p=.005) and female students (${\beta}$=.33, p<.001). Conclusion: To enhance college students' sexual autonomy, it may be useful to build effective strategies enhancing students' knowledge about and susceptibility to STD and to develop a self-efficacy promotion program for college students.

간호대학생의 환자 개인정보보호에 대한 지식, 인식 및 실천정도 (A Study of Student Nurses' Knowledge, Awareness and Performance of Patients' Personal Information Protection)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 환자 개인정보보호에 대한 지식, 인식 및 실천정도를 알아보고, 이들 간의 관계를 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 자료수집은 2019년 11월 1일부터 11월 8일까지 C도에 소재한 간호대학생 262명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석 방법은 t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson 상관분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 일반적 특성 중 학년과 환자 개인정보보호에 대한 교육여부는 지식, 인식 및 실천정도에 영향을 미치는 요인이었다. 환자 개인정보보호의 지식, 인식 및 실천은 서로 유의한 양의 상관관계에 있었다. 그러므로 간호대학생의 환자 개인정보보호에 대한 실천을 높이기 위해 지식과 인식의 향상을 보장하는 교육프로그램 개발 및 검증이 필요하다.

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 사전연명의료의향서에 대한 지식, 태도 및 호스피스 인식정도에 관한 연구로 연명의료결정법 시행 이후 간호 대학생들의 연명의료의향서에 대한 지식정도를 확인하여 향후 윤리적 갈등상황에서 올바르고 현명한 문제해결 능력을 갖추고자 하며 적극적인 대처로 간호 전문직 향상에 기여하고자 시도되었다. 그리고, 사회적 합의를 바탕으로 제정된 일명 연명의료결정법 시행 이후, 연명의료의향서제도에 대한 지식을 간호 대학생들에게 확인하였다는데 의의가 있으며 본 연구결과로 간호 대학생들의 사전연명의료의향서에 대한 지식, 태도, 호스피스 인식정도가 서로 상관관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이에 본 연구를 기반으로 간호 대학생들이 향후 다양한 실무현장에서 임종환자 간호와 연명의료에 대한 두려움보다는 대상자에 대한 긍정적인 대처 능력을 향상시키는 데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

초등학교 고학년 학생의 기본 심폐소생술에 대한 지식 및 태도가 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (Effects on Self Efficacy in Knowledge and Attitude of Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in the Higher Grade of Elementary School Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of knowledge and attitude on self efficacy of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the fifth and the sixth grade of elementary school students. Methods: The participants were 242 elementary school students from A city. Data were collected from August 26 to August 27, 2013 using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by SPSS/WIN 19.0 using ANOVA, t-test, Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Factors affecting on self efficacy to CPR were attitude (${\beta}=.54$), religion (${\beta}=-.16$), recognition (${\beta}=.15$) and knowledge (${\beta}=.13$). These factors explain 47.0% of the variance in self efficacy. Conclusion: The results of this study show that attitude to CPR has the strongest influence on efficacy. Based on the results of this study, we suggest that customized programs and further research by using 2010 guideline are needed to develop for elementary school students.
