Evaluation of the Forest Bird Community by using a Sound Recording System -Verification for the Avifauna evaluation in the non-breeding season -

  • We have conducted a verification test of correlation between bird community indices and bird sound recording results in order to use the equipment which deals with the automatic sound collecting system, the song meter. The study areas include four sites which are Gombaeryoung and Zochimryoung in Jeombongsan Mountain and Jookryoung and Gochiryoung in Sobaeksan National Park. We collected the bird sound data five times using a sound recorder and field survey results in the same place of the study site. As a result of the sound recording from the field survey, the species recorded by three researchers of sound analyst include common resident species or species which have a relatively conspicuous call and song. On the contrary, the species recorded by only one researcher are a relatively rare or inconspicuous species or was familiar with the personal experiences of each researcher. The number of species recorded by only one researcher totaled fourteen species (36.8 %), and that of two researchers totaled twelve species (31.6 %), and that of three researchers totaled twelve species (31.6 %). The correlations of the number of species among three researchers was not significant in some results, but the sum or maximum count of the number of species was useful to estimate a significant correlation between the result of researchers and the indices of field surveys. As a result of correlation analysis by using sound recordings, the maximum number of species among the three researchers significantly correlated with the number of species, the species diversity index and the species abundance index in the field survey at the same site, however it did not correlate with the number of individuals and species evenness index. As a result of sound analysis collected from the stationary sound recording system; song meter, the number of frequencies in bird songs and calls correlated with the number of species in the field survey at the same site. The number of calls and songs decreased as time went by. Finally, we could test the active time range and change the activity strength by using a sound recording system. In particular, that sound recording system is able to collect data in same time and site, so it is expected so that the equipment not only replenish a shortage of researchers and survey periods in field research in a short term monitoring survey, but also be able to acquire statistical objectivity.

투관침 부위에 적용하는 포비돈 아이오딘과 클로르헥시딘-에탄올의 소독제 효과 연구 (Clinical Study Comparing the Skin Antiseptics of Povidone-iodine and Chlorhexidine-ethanol on Port Site)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 투관침 부위를 중심으로 복강경하 담낭절제술에 적용하는 소독제인 포비돈 아이오딘과 클로르헥시딘-에탄올에 따른 소독효과의 차이를 비교하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 사전사후설계 실험연구이다. 연구대상자는 서울 소재 1개의 대학병원 외과에 입원한 46명의 환자를 대상으로 난수표를 이용하여 무작위 할당하였으며, 균의 배양과 동정, 균 수(CFU/ml) 측정, 수술부위감염 발생 유무를 통해 소독제 효과의 차이를 비교하였다. 연구결과, 포비돈 아이오딘과 클로르헥시딘-에탄올은 소독 3분 후와 투관침 제거 전의 균 발생률, 균수 변화의 차이와 수술부위감염발생률은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없어 소독효과에 대한 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 적절한 소독제 선택시 소독효과 뿐만 아니라 비용적 측면과 사용의 편의성 등을 고려하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구는 소독제의 효능과 사용방법에 대한 기초자료 및 교육 자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 소독제에 대한 이해를 높이는데 의의가 있다.

수서곤충 EPT-group을 이용한 무심천의 조사지점별 특성 (Characteristics of Musim Stream by Surveyed Sites Based on EPT-group of Aquatic Insects1a)

  • 본 연구는 무심천의 상류부터 하류까지 총 9개 지점을 선정하여 수서곤충의 EPT-group을 이용하여 EPT-비율, EPT 풍부도, EPT 종수와 개체수를 지점별로 비교분석하였고 수서곤충의 종 조성에 따른 UPGMA분석으로 조사지점간의 유사도를 비교하였으며 수서곤충의 섭식기능군은 하천차수에 의해 비교분석하였다. 조사결과에 의하면 무심천의 수서곤충은 총 8목 36과 71종으로 조사되었고 EPT 비율과 EPT 풍부도는 지점 3에서 각각 0.72, 3.89로 다른 지점에 비해 다소 높게 나타났으며 이와 반대로 지점 9에서는 0.03, 0.09로 비교적 낮게 나타났다. 또한 EPT 종수 및 개체수는 지점 9에서 가장 낮게 나타났다. UPGMA분석 결과 무심천의 각 지점은 A1(st. 1, 7, 8), A2(st. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), B(st. 9)로 3개의 그룹으로 나뉘었으며 섭식기능군은 지점별 차이는 나타나지 않았지만 상.중류역에서는 써는무리와 긁어먹는 무리가 다른 지점에 비해 다소 높게 나타난 반면 하류에서는 걸러먹는무리와 줍는무리가 우세한 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구 의하면 조사지점에 따라 수서곤충의 EPT-richness, EPT-ratio, EPT 수 뿐만 아니라 섭식기능군의 조성에도 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

고종조 중창된 경복궁 후원 영역 및 건축 규모 분석 연구 - 국립문화재연구소 소장본 북궐후원도형 및 북궐도형을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Area of Rear Garden and its Architectural Dimension at Gyeongbok Palace Constructed during King Gojong's Reign)

  • This thesis aims to determine the size of the rear garden and its architectural dimension at Gyeongbok Palace constructed during King Gojong's reign by analyzing Bukgyeol dohyeong(Site plan of Gyeongbok Palace) and Bukgyeol huwon dohyeong(Site plan of Rear Garden of Gyeongbok Palace) applied of scale unit and made from 1905 untill 1909. The results of this study were as follows; With respect to its site, the maximum horizontal length is estimated to be around 448m, the maximum vertical length is around 544m, and the entire area is around $203,905m^2$. Concerning the architecture, the total number of the buildings made up of one or more gan(間) is 32 and the total number of its gan is 292.5, etc.

EXAMINING THE WAY OF PRESENTING RELIABLE INFORMATION ON WEB PAGE

  • Recently, Internet is used widely. Many Web sites, however, are not designed based on user's view. So, this research aimed at grasping the user needs and structure of Web site which user used easily. First, to grasp user needs, questionnaires about the motivation, the purpose and the evaluation items of Web page were done. As a result, we found the easiness for the user. Next, we made subjects operated test pages in which the number of classes and the amount of information were changed. We collected the quantitative data of the optimum number of classes, amount of information and retrieval time. As a result, there was a significant difference in each numerical value. The results of this research are available when constructing a web site. so, usability of Web site can be improved by them.

채널의 출력제어를 통한 셀룰라 이동통신 시스템의 최적 설계 (Optimal design of mobile cellular communication systems by channel power control)

  • A major concern in a cellular mobile communication system is how to efficiently utilize the limited amount of frequencies. Various channel assignment methods and traffic sharing schemes have been proposed to improve system performance. However, these approaches suffer from complicated software and hardware requirements due to increased amount of traffic control In this paper, we propose a new method for improving system performance by controlling the powers of the set-up and voice channels of each cell site. We first show that the average number of blocked calls in a system is minimized when the traffic reates are made identical for all cell sites in a system. This result, together with the relationship between the channel powers and the service area, is used to determine the appropriate channel powers of each cell site. We also determine the upper limit on the channel power of each cell site considering co-channel interference and numerically show that the proposed method is effective in reducing the number of blocked calls without an excessive increase in the amount of system control.

  • Deduction of compressive strength in concrete members is very important to decide stability of structures. In this study, we compare the compressive strength of concrete between nondestructive test done to the building which was to be demolished at residential reconstruction site and destructive test of core specimen from the site. The result is more reliable because ore can compare the measurement of nondestructive tell with the result from destructive test using drilled cores. Compressive strength of each material was calculated with the result of rebound number test. In addition, we performed ultrasonic test for another result of compressive strength. And we made a comparative study of compressive strength of concrete drawn from both nondestructive and destructive tests.

초등학교 입지특성에 따른 교지 이용에 관한 조사연구 (A study on the Use of site related to the site characteristics of the Elementary School in GwangJu-city)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest some alternative on site planning of elementary school through investigating the effects of geographical and urban environment on the site. For this, we selected and surveyed 35 schools in Gwangju. The results of this study are as follows. 1) We cannot find out the differences from the use of elementary schools sites on slopes of sites. However, the sunken space between H type buildings in the site slopes facing east or west and the placing the playground on the north side of the site slopes facing north have some problems 2) The number of adjacent road and surrounding environment didn't show any effect. To separate between cars and pedestrians, we need some plans to block cars on the pedestrian gateway and it is much better to intensify the parking area near the school gate that cars come in and out. 3) The degree of satisfaction on the outdoor facilities of these cases shows low level. Therefore, to use the site of schools efficiently, we should secure the spacious playground and make plans to provide some spaces around school building for the static activities of students and teachers. 4) Most of all, the site which is suitable for educational environment should be selected. and also Special Code on the urban plan should be established to develop this one.

소규모건설현장 안전관리를 위한 기술지도 사업의 실효성 제고를 위한 개선방안 연구 (A Study on Improvement Plan to Enhancing the Effectiveness of Technical Guidance Project for Safety Control of Small Construction Site)

  • 정부와 안전보건공단에서는 건설현장의 안전사고 저감을 위하여 감독 점검, 기술지도 재정지원 등의 안전활동을 지속적으로 수행하여 왔으나, 건설현장의 재해자수는 매년 증가추세에 있으며, 특히 소규모 건설공사를 위주로 전체 재해자수의 80%이상을 차지하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소규모 건설공사 현장에서의 안전 보건관리의 이행현황을 조사하고 해당 사업장에 정부의 적정한 기술지도 방안을 마련할 필요성이 있으며, 소규모 건설공사 현장에서의 재해를 줄이고 기술지도사업의 실효성을 확보하기 위한 건설현장에 부합하는 기술지도 최적안을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

  • There are a lot of different types of noise from construction site and it depends on construction stage, equipment type and number of operating equipments. The problem is almost noise from construction site is high level and some kinds of noise levels are over 100dB. In addition, if construction site is located in downtown, there are a few options to reduce noise level. Therefore several site mitigation plans are developed to reduce different types of construction noises and it is applied in site and evaluated noise reduction performance in this study.
