  • As the ticket issuing methods have been diversified for the convenience of the passengers such as ticketless service(SMS ticket, e-ticket, home ticket), automatic ticket issuing machine and consignment ticket sale, maintaining the current number of ticket booth has been becoming a issue. This study is designed to simulation for the optimum number of ticket booth and which can affect an efficient operation of train station and improvement of customer convenience. This study is proceeding and will contribute to minimize customer waiting time at the ticket booth. In addition, presenting the optimum number of booth is expected to have an effect on the increase of productivity and cost savings.

  • The double-base number system has been used in digital signal processing systems for over a decade because of its fast inner product operation and low hardware complexity. This letter proposes an innovative multiplier architecture using hybrid operands. The multiplier can easily be linked to flash analog-to-digital converters or digital systems through a double-base number encoder (DBNE) for realtime signal processing. The design of the DBNE and the multiplier enable faster digital signal processing and require less hardware resources compared to the binary processing method.

  • In manufacturing industries, one of the critical issues is to synchronize the sequence of production operations with materials needed at each operation to improve productivity. In order to solve this synchronization problem. We develop a code system entitled 'Work-Order-Number' for automated storage/retrieval systems(AS/RS) in this paper. The Work-Order-Number is designed for the purpose of integrating the engineering information. material handling, production and operations scheduling, point of production, and AS/RS systems. This paper implemented the Work-Order-Number in the electric motor manufacturing. The results of the implementation showed the reduction of the number of workers in material handling and cost-loss due lo a late delivery.

  • It is almost impossible to generate the sound field effect in real time with the time-domain linear convolution because of its large multiplication operation requirement. To solve this, three methods are introduced to reduce the number of multiplication operations in this paper. Firstly, the time-domain linear convolution is replaced with the frequency-domain circular convolution. In other words, the linear convolution result can be derived from that of the circular convolution. This technique reduces the number of multiplication operations remarkably, Secondly, a subframe concept is introduced, i.e., one original frame is divided into several subframes. Then the FFT is executed for each subframe and, as a result, the number of multiplication operations can be reduced. Finally, the QFT is used in stead of the FFT. By combining all the above three methods into our final the SFE generation algorithm, the number of computations are reduced sufficiently and the real-time SFE generation becomes possible with a general PC.

원발성 자연 기흉에서 10 mm와 2 mm 비디오 흉강경 수술의 비교 (The Comparison of Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS) with 10 mm Thoracoscopy to 2 mm Thoracoscopy for Primary Spontaneous Pneumothorax)

  • 배경: 2mm 흉강경을 이용한 기흉의 수술은 정확성과 수술 후 재발률에 대한 신뢰가 부족한 실정이다. 원발성 자연기흉의 치료에서 2mm 흉강경과 10mm 흉강경의 수술 결과를 비교하였다. 대상 및 방법: 1998년 9원부터 2002년 12월 까지 고려대학교 안산병원에서 원발성 자연 기흉으로 기낭 정제술울 시행한 176예(10mm 흉강경 수술군 73예, 2mm 흉강경 수술군 103예)를 연구 대상으로 하였다. 10mm군은 10mm 흉강경, 5mm 포트를 통한 흉강경 기구, 2mm군은 2mm 포트를 통한 흉강경과 기구를 사용하였다. 결과: 두 군에서 추적 관찰기관은 10mm군이 20,8$\pm$16.1 개월, 2mm군은 13.9 $\pm$8.2개월 이였다. 수술 적응증은 10mm군에서는 재발성 기흉이 25예($34\%$), 2mm군에서는 환자가 원한 경우가 42예($40\%$)로 가장 많았다. 수술 시간, 사용한 자동 봉합기의 수, 술 후 흉관 거치일, 술 후 총 배액량, 술 후 재원일, 합병증 등에서 2mm군이 10mm군에 비하여 적었으며, 이 중 통계적으로 유의한 것은 수술 시간, 사용한 자동 봉합기의 수, 술 후 총 배액량, 술 후 재원일 등이었다. 수술 시간에 영향을 미치는 인자에 관한 회귀 분석에서 자동 봉합기의 사용개수, 늑막유착의 유무, 수술 시 늑막유착술 시행여부, 사용한 흉강경의 종류 등이 통계적으로 유의한 인자로 분석되었으나 $R^2$ 값은 모두 0.1 이하였다. 술 후 재발율은 10mm군에서는 총 73예 중 2예($2.7\%$), 2mm군에서는 총 103예 중 3예($2.9\%$)로 재발율의 차이는 통계적으로 유의성은 없었다. 재발율의 생명표 분석에서는 두 군 모두 수술후 1년 이내에 재발아였으며 재발률에 큰 차이가 없었다. 결론: 두 군 간에 추적 기간의 차이는 있었지만, 수술 시간, 사용한 자동 봉합기의 수, 술 후 총 배액량, 술 후 재원일에 있어서 2mm 흉강경군에서 의미있게 낮게 나타났다. 또한, 2mm 흉강경 사용 시, 좁은 시야에서도 불구하고 수술 중 기술적 어려움은 없었으며 술 후 재발률에도 10mm 흉강경과 차이는 없었다. 따라서 원발성 자연 기흉 환자의 수술방법으로 2mm 흉강경이 적용될 수 있으리라 생각된다.

A Secure Credit Card Transaction Method Based on Kerberos

  • This paper introduces a new credit card payment scheme called No Number Credit Card that can significantly reduce the possibility of credit card fraud. The proposed payment system is loosely based on Kerberos, a cryptographic framework that has stood the test of time. In No Number Credit Card, instead of card numbers, only payment tokens are exchanged between the customers and merchants. The tokens are generated based on the payment amount, payment type, client information, and merchant information. However, it does not contain the credit card number, so the merchant or a database hacker cannot acquire and illegally use any credit card numbers. The No Number Credit Card system is ideal for online e-commerce transactions and can be used with any credit card that users possess. It can be used with minor modifications to the current card payment system. We provide the principles of its operation through scenario analysis, a sample implementation, and a security analysis

시뮬레이션을 이용한 고객 수송 시스템 운영 방안 수립 (Planning A Customer Transportation System Operation using Simulation)

  • The purpose of this research is to propose an efficient loop line operation plan for customer transportation in a new theme park. Based on the expected customer arrivals, customer loading/unloading methods, and scheduled/non-scheduled departure schemes, movement time between stations etc., we have performed indepth analyses and derived the best optimal policy. Our results show that, over all, the operation with separate loading/unloading doors and scheduled departure is preferred to the other options. We then derived the optimal number of trains and cars meeting minimal customer unsatisfaction with low cost for each season.

  • 동형 암호화 시스템을 구현하는 데 있어, encrypt, decrypt, recrypt 연산은 큰 골격을 이루는 연산이다. 각각에 있어 공통된 가장 중요한 연산은 백만 비트가 넘는 큰 정수에 대한 법 곱셈이며, 이것은 푸리에 변환을 반복적으로 수행하여 얻을 수 있는 매우 큰 정수에 대한 곱셈 연산과 곱셈 결과에 대한 법 간소화를 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 Schonhage-Strassen이 제안한 큰 정수에 대한 법 곱셈을 수행하는 알고리즘을 응용하여, 이를 다시 메모리를 절약할 수 있는 효율적인 알고리즘을 제안하고 구현한다. 제안한 정수 푸리에 변환 구조는 FPGA에 구현하여 성능을 비교하였다.

  • It was accomplished that failure analysis not only failure numbers but also power system components every years. and these informations help power system operation considerably. power system equipment were occurred a break down by natural phenomenon and aging but it was not able to predict this failure number. But many papers and technical repots study for each equipment failure rate and reliability evaluation methods. so this paper show a failure number prediction whole power system component using Markov theory not each component failure probability. the result present a next month system failure number prediction.

A Second Order Exact Scaling Method for Turbomachinery Performance Prediction

  • A scaling method valid for most turbomachines based on first principles is derived. It accounts for axial and centrifugal turbomachines with respect to relative gap width/tip clearance, relative roughness, Reynolds number and/or Mach number for design and off-design operation as well. The scaling method has been successfully validated by a variety of experimental data obtained at TU Darmstadt. The physically based, hence reliable and universal method is compared with previous, empirical scaling methods.
