건물옥상 식재용 콘크리트공법의 개발 (Development of Concrete Method for Roof Planting)

  • This paper is dealing with the fundamental properties of planting concrete, replacing the existing cover concrete on the roof of a building. This study is to find out the physical characteristics of the planting concrete and rearing characteristics of the grass throughout the modeling experimental materials. As the results of the experiment, the physical properties of planting concrete show the following results; when the paste to aggregate ratio is 0.2~ 0.4, voids volume : 30~17%, unit weight: 1,710~2,010kg/m3, compressive strength : 45~145kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, its pH is more than 11, but is reduced to the proper degree for planting after being neutralized. Kentucky bluegrass covered with planting concrete is grown well. The planting concrete used with blast furnace slag cement shows a better properties at the height, the width and the covering rate by 1.1cm, 0.5mm and 7%, respectively, than those used with ordinary portland cement. Also, the less the paste to aggregate ratio is, the better the plant grows. The orders of the effects of temperature control are as follows; the system of planting concrete with grass>the system of planting concrete without grass>the system of mixed soil>the existed roof system. In case, the planting concrete is placed to the roofs of buildings instead of normal concrete slab, and a number of favorable effect can be expected such as the improvement os environmental factors, the reduction of construction cost, the saving of energy and the reduction of environment load. The future research on the change of a variety of the aggregate conditions and the application of the practical structures should be made, and also the research of the endurance also be performed.

미숙아 출산 산모 돌봄 가정간호가 산모의 자기효능감과 산후 우울에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Maternal Care Program on Self-Efficacy and Postpartum Depression in Mothers with Preterm Babies)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of Maternal Care Program(MCP)-carried out by trained home care nurses on self-efficacy and postpartum depression in mothers with preterm babies. Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental study comparing the effects of an MCP on self-efficacy and postpartum depression before Participants were 34 mothers who were referred to the home care nursing center of the C University Hospital in Seoul from April 8 2014 to January 12 2015. Results: The average self-efficacy score was 97.24 points before and 123.26 points after receiving the program, showing a significant increase of 26.03 points (p<.001). Postpartum depression scores were 8.65 points before the program and 5.56 points after, showing a significant decrease of 3.09 points (p<.001). Conclusions: The normal development of preterm babies was confirmed-through regular physical examinations in the MCP. Professional services were provided by-education and consultation on problems related to child-rearing and health to deal with psychological and social problems as well as physical care to mothers by trained home care nurses.

뱀장어의 초기사육에 관한 연구 (REARING OF THE EARLY STAGE OF THE EEL ANGUILLA JAPONICA)

  • 1973년 4월부터 1974년 6월 말까지 뱀장어의 효과적인 초기사육을 위하여 일연의 실험을 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 뱀장어의 초기사육의 최적성장수온은 $20\~34^{\circ}C$의 범위내에서 실험한 결과 $30^{\circ}C$로 나타났다. 2. $20\~30^{\circ}C$ 사이에서 10일간의 성장배수는 R=0.0056296$T^{1.80740}$이라는 곡선식으로 나타났다. 3. 오랫동안 축양하여 두었던 실뱀장어도 채포후 바로 사육하는 것에 비해 성장이 나쁘지 않았다. 4. 사육중 크지 않고 성장이 나빴던 것도 이번 시험사육결과 정상적인 성장을 하였다. 5. ammonia는 5ppm 이하에서는 섭이에 영향을 주지 않으나 6ppm에서는 섭이량이 현저히 줄었다. 6. 뱀장어의 고밀도 사육시 배설물의 제거는 좋은 수질을 유지하는 데 매우 중요하다.

운동기술훈련이 태아알코올증후군 흰쥐 모델의 소뇌 발달과 운동기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Motor Skill Training on Motor Function and Cerebellar Development After Alcohol Exposure in Neonatal Rats)

  • The purpose of this study was to test that motor skill training enhance motor function and cerebellar development. Using an animal model of fetal alcohol syndrome-which equates peak blood alcohol concentrations across developmental period-critifical periods for the effect of alcohol on body and cerebellar weigh was examined. The effect of motor skill training on motor function and cerebellar development of rat exposed alcohol on postnatal days 4 through 10 were studied. Newborn rats were assigned to one of two groups: (1) Control group (CG), via artificial rearing to milk formula and (2) experimental groups (EG), via 4.5g/kg/day of ethanol in a milk solution. After completion of the treatments, the pups were fostered back to lactating dams, and wearing they were raised in standard caged until they were postnatal 48 days. Rats from experimental group of postnatal treatment then spent 10 days in one of two groups: Experimental group II (EGII) was had got motor skill training (training traverse a set of 6 elevated obstacles) for 4 weeks. Experimental group I (EGI) was not trained. Before sacrificing, the rat got examined two behavioral test, body weigh and cerebellar weigh, then coronal sections were processed. The section was investigated the Purkije cell in the cerebellum using light microscope. The results of this study were as follows. 1. In body weight test, the outcome of alcohol groups were significantly lower than the normal group. 2. In cerebellar weight test, the outcome of EGI were significantly lower than CG and EGII. 3. In motor behavioral test, the outcome of EGI was significantly lower than NG and EGII. 4. In Purkinje cells counting test, the outcome of EGI was significantly lower than the NG and EGII. These result suggest that improved motor function induced by motor skill training after postnatal exposure is associated with dynamically altered expression of Purkinje cells and that is related with cerebellar function. Also, these data can potentially serve as a model for therapeutic intervention.

Effects of Red Ginseng on Neonatal Hypoxia-induced Hyperacitivity Phenotype in Rats

  • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects 4-12% of chool-age children worldwide and is characterized by three core symptoms: hyperactivity, inattention, and impulsivity. Although standard pharmacological treatments, such as methylphenidate and atomoxetine, are available, concerns about drug-induced psychological and cardiovascular problems, as well as growth retardation and sleep disturbances, highlight the continuing need for new therapeutic interventions. Using a neonatal hypoxia-induced hyperactivity model in rats, the potential positive role that oral administration of red ginseng extract may have in relation to the hyperactive phenotype was investigated. Hypoxia was induced in 2-day-old male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rat pups by placing them in a nitrogen chamber for 15 min. The neonatal hypoxia-induced rats showed a significant increase in hyperactivity phenotype, such as increased movement duration, movement distance, and rearing frequency, which was determined by monitoring their spontaneous locomotor activity using the Ethovision video tracking system. One week of oral treatment with red ginseng extract decreased the hyperactivity phenotype of the neonatal hypoxia-induced rats and increased the locomotor activity of the control rats. In the neonatal hypoxia-induced rats, expression of the norepinephrine transporter in the forebrain was increased, and red ginseng treatment partially prevented its up-regulation, while increasing its level in the control rats. Taken together, these results suggest that red ginseng extract decreased the neonatal hypoxia-induced hyperactivity phenotype, although it increased locomotor activity in normal animals.

청소년의 우울증과 우울 행동 장애에서의 부모 양육 태도에 관한 연구 (DIFFERENCES IN THE PATTERNS OF PARENTAL REARING BETWEEN DEPRESSION AND DEPRESSIVE CONDUCT DISORDER IN ADOLESCENCE)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 청소년에서의 우울증과 우울 행동 장애 환자에서 우울의 정도와 행동 장애 정도에 차이가 있는가를 알아보고 두 환자 집단의 부모 양육 태도에 차이가 있는가를 밝히고 또한 아버지 어머니의 양육 태도와 우울, 행동 장애의 정도와의 상관 관계를 알아봄으로서 이 두가지 정신 병리의 기전에 부모의 부정적인 양육 태도가 어느 정도 기여하는지를 밝히기 위함이다. 이를 위해 저자들은 우울증 환자군 22명과 우울행동 장애 환자군 16명, 정상 대조군 24명을 대상으로 소아 우울 척도(CDI), DSM-111-R에 의한 부모 평가 행동 장애 척도, 한국판 부모-자녀 결합 형태 검사(PBI)를 시행하였고 결과는 다음과 같았다. (1) 우울증 환자와 우울행동 장애 환자사이에서 우울 정도는 의미 있게 차이가 나지 않았다. (2) 어머니의 돌봄이나 과보호는 우울증과 우울행동 장애군 사이에 차이가 없었다. (3) 아버지의 돌봄도 두 환자군간의 차이가 없었지만 아버지의 과보호는 우울행동 환자군에서 우울증 환자군이나 정상 대조군보다 의미있게 높았다. 세 집단을 전체로 보았을때는 (1) 우울의 정도와 행동 장애의 정도는 정적인 상관 관계가 있었다. (2) 어머니의 과보호나 돌봄은 행동 문제와는 무관하고 우울과 상관 관계가 있었다. (3) 아버지의 돌봄은 우울이나 행동 장애의 정도와 무관하였다. (4) 아버지의 과보호는 우울정도와는 상관 관계가 없지만 행동 문제와는 상관 관계가 있었다. 따라서 청소년의 우울증에서 아버지의 과다한 간섭과 보호가 행동 장애라는 정신 병리를 유발하는 중요한 한가지 요소가 될 것으로 추정된다.의 위험인자들에 대하여 인식하고, 약물의 용량조절시에도 주의를 하여야 한다. 가능한 발병 위험인자들에 관해서도 검토하였다. 받은 아동은 8.6% 였고 우수의 평가를 받은 아동은 30.4% 양호의 평가를 받은 아동은 52%, 불량의 평가를 받은 아동은 8.7%였다. 추적도사의 최우수의 평가를 받은 아동은 21.7%였고 우수는 13%, 양호는 21.7%, 불량은 34.8% 였다. 치료성과는 유의미한 상관관계를 보이는 변수는 지능지수로 나타났다. 8) 대상군을 공생형 함구증(symbiotic mutism), 언어공포성 함구증(speech phobic mutism), 반응성 함구증(reactive mutism), 수동-공격성 함구증(passive aggressive mutism)으로 분류하였을때 각각 65%, 8.6%, 12%, 30%였다. 지능지수에 따라 정신지체로 분류된 7명과 정상지능군에 속하는 9명을 비교적 언어발달 및 성격특성, 가족역동, 치료성과 등에서 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다.X>과잉행동(過剩行動)${\cdot}$공격성(攻擊性)${\cdot}$비행요인(非行要因)에서도 호전양상을 보였다. 이와같은 결과는 이 두 약물이 모두 주의력(注意力)과 인지기능(認知機能)을 증진시키기는 하였으나, 보다 뚜렷한 변화는 methylphenidate 투여후에 볼 수 있었다. 특히 methylphenidate투여후 연속과제수행(連續課題遂行)에서 민감도(敏感度)와 반응오류수(反應誤謬數)의 호전이 있었으나 반응기준(反應基準)에는 변화가 없었다는 소견, 그리고 단기기억수행(短期記憶遂行)에서의

담수 및 해수에서 순화 사육한 감성돔, Acanthopagrus schlegeli의 생리상태 비교 (Comparison of Physiological Conditions on Black Porgy, Acanthopagrus schlegeli Acclimated and Reared in Freshwater and Seawater)

  • 해산어류의 담수순화 양식을 위한 기초자료를 얻고자, 감성돔을 재료로 하여 담수와 해수에서 90일간 사육하였을 때, 어체의 생리상태를 스트레스, 삼투압조절, 성장 및 생존율 측면에 서 조사 비교하였다. 스트레스 측면에서 담수돔과 해수돔의 혈장 cortisol농도의 경우 60일째까지 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 실험종료시에는 각각 12.6$\pm$5.0 ng/ml, 4.5$\pm$2.9 ng/ml로 담수돔이 해수돔보다 높았지만 안정시의 농노에 포함되는 것으로 나타났다. 삼투압조절 측면에서 담수돔과 해수돔의 삼투질농도의 범위는 각각 346.7$\pm$4.6$\~$356.5$\pm$2.1 mOsm/kg, 350.0$\pm$2.0$\~$351.0$\pm$2.6 mOsm/kg으로 차이가 나타나지 않았으며, 또한 아가미 조직의 손상이나 세포의 괴사도 관찰되지 않았다. 성장 및 생존율 측면에서 실험종료시 담수돔과 해수돔의 전장은 각각 17.0$\pm$1.3 cm, 16.1$\pm$0.8, 체중은 각각 88.2$\pm$22.0 g, 69.4$\pm$11.8 g, 생존율은 각각 $80.2\%$, $73.7\%$로 담수돔에서 높게 나타났으나 유의한 차이는 인정되지 않았다. 또한 증중률 등의 성장관련 요인과 체성분의 조성면에서도 담수돔과 해수돔간의 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

자어기 넙치(Paralichthys olivaceus)의 사육 밀도에 따른 기형 발생과 스트레스 및 면역 유전자 발현 분석 (Effects of Rearing Density Stress on Malformation and Stress and Immune Related Gene Expression of Juvenile Olive Flounder Paralichthys olivaceus)

  • Stocking density is associated with Paralichthys olivaceus growth; thus, fish should be rapidly reared at high densities for commercial reasons. Studies have reported that high stocking density retards growth; however, few have investigated the malformations caused by stocking density stress. This study compared the growth and malformation rates of P. olivaceus at different densities and stress- and immune-related gene expression between malformed and normal fish. Forty days post-hatching, fish (total length, 1.49±0.02 cm) were reared at 800 (low density; LD), 1500 (medium density; MD), and 4000 (high density; HD) fish/m2, and the growth rate was measured weekly. On day 30, RNA was extracted from the kidneys, and the expression of stress-, immune-, and malformation-related genes was analyzed using qRT-PCR. The malformation rate in the HD groups was approximately three times higher (62%) than that in the LD and MD groups (approximately 20%), and growth was lower regarding length and weight. The stress-related (HSP70 and GPX) and immune-related (PIR and IgM) genes showed higher mRNA expression in the HD group and malformed fish than in the LD group and normal fish. However, TLR3 showed the opposite results. In summary, high stocking density suppressed growth and increased malformation risk in P. olivaceus.

호박벌(Bombus ignitus Smith)의 봉군발육에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Temperature on the Colony Development of Bombus ignitus Smith)

  • The queens of Korean native bumblebee species, Bombus ignitus were collected from the field in the spring of 1997 and reared under the various temperatures as 15$^{\circ}C$$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$, 2$0^{\circ}C$$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$, $25^{\circ}C$ $\pm$1$^{\circ}C$, 3$0^{\circ}C$$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$, 60%$\pm$5% of relative humidity and 14L : 10D, to investigate their ecological characteristics, as comparing with control(29$^{\circ}C$$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$, 60%$\pm$5% of relative humidity and red light). As a result, eggs were laid by foundation queen at 15$^{\circ}C$, but they didn't hatched out while at 2$0^{\circ}C$ eggs were laid by them and they hatched out. When a foundation queen laid eggs at $25^{\circ}C$ and they all were hatched out and normally grown. Finally they were developed to the normal colony. B. ignitus worker survived for 77days at 2$0^{\circ}C$, about 69days at $25^{\circ}C$, about 68days at 3$0^{\circ}C$ and about 63days at 29$^{\circ}C$(control). The first brood workers emerged in 25-27days from the egg which a foundation queen laid. At the various temperatures, the captive queens stand to lay eggs in about 18days at 15$^{\circ}C$, 15days at 2$0^{\circ}C$, 11days at $25^{\circ}C$, 11days at 3$0^{\circ}C$ and 4days in control. The first worker and the first drone from the egg cell of the collected queens appeared in about 27days and 72days at 2$0^{\circ}C$, 26days and 88days in $25^{\circ}C$, 24days and 65days at 3$0^{\circ}C$, 25days and 71days in control, respectively. In colony foundation, 33% of the collected queen at 2$0^{\circ}C$ and $25^{\circ}C$, 100% of the disposed queen at 3$0^{\circ}C$ and in control, and 67% of them at 3$0^{\circ}C$ and in control both produced new queens in 66days and 88days, respectively. The life span of the colony founded covered fro about 3 months at $25^{\circ}C$, 3$0^{\circ}C$ and in control. At lower temperatures, the life span of queen is shorter; 2 months at 15$^{\circ}C$ and 3 months at 2$0^{\circ}C$, respectively. A colony which normally developed, varied in size with rearing temperatures; about 20heads at 2$0^{\circ}C$, 482heads at $25^{\circ}C$, 330heads at 3$0^{\circ}C$ and 452heads in control. A foundation queen monthly oviposited 1.5egg cells at 15$^{\circ}C$, 3.0egg cells at 2 $0^{\circ}C$, 21.7egg cells at $25^{\circ}C$, 42.3egg cells at 3$0^{\circ}C$ and 47.0egg cells in control. As a colony developed in June and July, egg cells as well as daily average cells increased in number, as compared to those in May and August. Also, in June and July, interval(days) of egg laying is shorter than in May and August. Number of nectar pots during the colony development varied with rearing temperatures; 31pots at $25^{\circ}C$, 39pots at 3$0^{\circ}C$, 23pots in control. The emergence of new queen showed a distinctively different two patterns; early emerging type and late emerging type. Workers are rapidly increased from early in July to early in August at $25^{\circ}C$, but at 3$0^{\circ}C$ and in control, emergence of workers are remarkably increased from the middle of June and last until July. No new queen emerged at 15$^{\circ}C$, 2$0^{\circ}C$ and $25^{\circ}C$. New queens at 3$0^{\circ}C$ and in control emerged between late in June and early in July. Thus emergence of new queen was temperature dependent.

부산지방에서 실내수조를 이용한 무지개송어의 사육실험 (AN EXPERIMENT ON THE HEARING OF RAINBOW TROUT IN THE INDOOR AQUARIUM IN BUSAN)

  • 1977년 4월 25일부터 1977년 11월 10일까지 199일 간실내에서 소형의 순환여과사육장치와 소량의 지하수를 이용하여 하계기온이 높은 부산지방에서 무지개송어의 사육실험을 한 바, 다음과 같이 희망적인 결과를 얻었다. 1. 실험수조 2 (Fig.2)의 크기는 가로, 세로 각각 1m, 높이 67cm의 Stainless 수조로 가운데 직경 20cm, 깊이 20cm 역 원추형의 침전부가 있고 고 끝은 직경 4cm의 파이프에 연결되어 주수되는 물이 수조밖의 Stand pipe를 통하여 밖으로 넘쳐서 배출된다. 수심은 40 cm 정도로 유지되었으며 여과조는 가로 세로 각각 23cm, 깊이 40cm의 플라스틱 통에 깊이 30cm로 직경 약 $3\~5mm$는 zeolite석을 넣어 사용하였고 순환 펌프는 1시간에 약 1030 l 용량으로 순환율은 시간당 약 2.6회였다. 2. 수조에 주수되는 소량의 물이 밖으로 나가면서 찌꺼기를 밖으로 내보내게 되는 장치는 사육수의 수질유지에 크게 도움이 되었다. 3. $17^{\circ}C$ 전후의 지하수를 약 400 l의 사육수에 1분간 0.59 l의 비율로 1일 평균 16시간 주수하였더니 7월하순 평균기온이 $27.36^{\circ}C$ 일 때 사육수의 평균 수온이 $20^{\circ}C\~22^{\circ}C$ 전후로 유지되었으나 무지개송어는 정상적인 성장을 하였다. 4. 간단한 여과장치를 하고 1분간 1 l의 물이 주수된다고 할 때 생산량은 30kg 의 계산이 나온다. 5. 남부지방에서 하계수온 $17^{\circ}C$ 전후의 적당한 지하수와 소형의 여과장치 그리고 개량된 사육수조를 이용하여 무지재송어의 양식이 가능하며 경제적으로도 충분히 성립되고 사료와 여과장치를 개선하면 생산단가는 크게 낮출 수 있고 생각된다.
