Bacterial Foraging Algorithm과 FCM 기반 퍼지 시스템을 이용한 비선형 시스템 모델링 (Nonlinear System Modeling Using Bacterial Foraging and FCM-based Fuzzy System)

  • 본 논문에서는 Bacterial Foraging Algorithm과 FCM(fuzzy c-means)클러스터링을 이용하여 TSK(Takagi-Sugeno-Kang)형태의 퍼지 규칙 생성과 퍼지 시스템(FCM-ANFIS)을 효과적으로 구축하는 방법을 제안한다. 구조동정에서는 먼저 PCA(Principal Component Analysis)을 이용하여 입력 데이터 성분간의 상관관계를 제거한 후에 FCM을 이용하여 클러스터를 생성하고 성능지표에 근거해서 타당한 클러스터의 수, 즉 퍼지 규칙의 수를 얻는다. 파라미터 동정에서는 Bacterial Foraging Algorithm을 이용하여 전제부 파라미터를 최적화 시킨다. 결론부 파라미터는 RLSE(Recursive Least Square Estimate)에 의해 추정되어진다. PCA(Principal Component Analysis)와 FCM을 적용함으로써 타당한 규칙 수를 생성하였고 Bacterial Foraging Algorithm을 이용하여 최적의 전제부 파라미터를 구하였다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 Box-Jenkins의 가스로 데이터와 Rice taste 데이터의 모델링에 적용하였고 우수한 성능을 보임을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents the method of parameter estimation of diffusion model for monitoring Demand-Side Management program. Bass diffusion model was applied in this paper, which has different values according to the following parameters; coefficients of innovation, imitation and potential adopters. Though it is very important to estimate three parameters precisely, there has been no empirical way in practice. Thus, this paper presents the method of parameter estimation in case of few data with constraints to reduce the possibility of bad estimation. The constraints can be empirical results or expert's decision. Case studies show the diffusion curves and forecasted values of the peak for the high-efficient lighting. The feedback and nonlinear least-square parameter estimation methods used in this paper enable us to evaluate the status and to predict the effect of DSM program.

  • The radio noise produced by corona discharge in high voltage transmission tines is one of the most important line design considerations. Therefore it is necessary to pre-evaluate radio noise for transmission line designers using Prediction formulas or field test results. In this Paper, more accurate and useful formulas for Predicting radio noise during fair and foul weathers in AC transmission lines were proposed through comparison with the existing formulas. Also it was verified by comparing with the long-term measured data from operating lines that the Proposed formulas are very accurate. The Proposed prediction formulas are developed by the applications of nonlinear least square optimization method to radio noise database collected from lines throughout the world.

  • With precise GPS carrier positioning result, we can get attitude information if GPS antenna has adequate attaching position on the vehicle. In this case, baseline length information can be bandied as an additional measurement or constraint. In this paper, we have proposed a method to improve the attitude accuracy. To overcome nonlinearity of baseline observation model, we analyze attitude estimation result using existing estimation method like a least square method and Kalman filter, and apply a new nonlinear estimation method an unscented Kalman filter Finally we confirm the improvement of attitude estimation result in the case of appling the unscented Kalman filter.

  • "Motion Stereo" is quite useful for visual guidance of the robot, but most range finding algorithms of motion stereo have suffered from poor accuracy due to the quantization noise and measurement error. In this paper, 3-D position estimation and refinement scheme is proposed, and its performance is discussed. The main concept of the approach is to consider the entire frame sequence at the same time rather than to consider the sequence as a pair of images. The experiments using real images have been performed under following conditions : hand-held camera, static object. The result demonstrate that the proposed nonlinear least-square estimation scheme provides reliable and fairly accurate 3-D position information for vision-based position control of robot. of robot.

  • This paper describes a 3 dimensional position estimation method for a eye-in-hand robot vision system. The camera is mounted on the tip of a robot manipulator, and moves without restriction. Sequences of images are considered simultaneously for nonlinear least-square formation, and the best estimation of the 3 dimensional position is searched by the Simplex search algorithm. The experiments show that the proposed method can provide fairly accurate position information, while the robot is executing a given task.

  • 프라운호퍼 회절에 의하여 주어진 세기 무늬를 발생시키는 회절광학소자(Diffractive Optical Element, DOE)는 회절무늬소자, 키노폼(kinoform), 컴퓨터 푸리에 홀로그램 (computer-generated Fourier hologram) 등으로 불리우며, 광정보처리, 광연결, 레이저가공에서 중요한 역할을 한다. 이 소자를 설계하는 매우 다양한 방법들이 제안되었는데, iterative Fourier transform 알고리즘(IFTA)과 이를 변형한 알고리즘들이 가장 널리 사용된다. IFTA는 fast Fourier transform(FFT)를 활용하므로 계산시간이 절감되지만 국소 최소점에 고착되는 stagnation문제가 있어 이를 해결하기 위한 많은 변형된 알고리즘들이 제안되었다. 본 연구에서는 최근에 제안한 new Pnoise algorithm with hybrid input-output algorithm(NPA-HIOA)$^{(1)}$ 의 설계 성능을 IFTA, hybrid input-output 알고리즘(HIOA), new Pnoise 알고리즘(NPA)$^{(2)}$ , Nonlinear Least-Square (NLS)$^{(3)}$ 등의 기존의 알고리즘들과 비교하고자 한다.   • This paper presents a robust adaptive control method using model reference control strategy against autonomous robot systems with random friction nature. We approximate a nonlinear robot system model by means of a feedback linearization approach to derive nominal control law. We construct a Least Square (LS) based observer to estimate friction dynamics online and then represent a perturbed system model with respect to approximation error between an actual friction and its estimation. Model reference based control design is achieved to implement an auxiliary control in order for reducing control error in practice due to system perturbation. Additionally, we conduct theoretical study to demonstrate stability of the perturbed system model through Lyapunov theory. Numerical simulation is carried out for evaluating the proposed control methodology and demonstrating its superiority by comparing it to a traditional nominal control method.

혼변조적의 효과적인 산출 방식에 관한 연구 (A Study on an Efficient Method to Evaluate Intermodulation Product)

  • In this paper, we present analysis results of various intermodulation products (IMPs) evaluation methods previously proposed for nonlinear systems. The results indicate that out of these methods, Fuenzalida and Simbo's method is the best for efficient evaluation of IMPs. Also, we present a detailed mathematical analysis of IMP and show how to apply the equations related to IMP to actual program implementations with examples. In this paper, we newly introduce three methods to reduce the IMP calculation time and improve the accuracy of the outputs :1) TWTA curve fitting method by LS (Least Square), 2) IMP evaluation technique which is based on a look-up table 3) Gaussian spectral shaping for PSK signal instead of convolution. The IMP evaluation results obtained by the new approaches introduced in this paper resulted in a good match with the published outputs in the open literature and showed improved performance especially in the TWTA curve .

  • This paper describes the optimal operation scheduling technique using genetic algorithms on cogeneration systems with variable efficiency in case of bottoming cycle. Variable efficiency included nonlinear behavior is obtained by least square method based on the real data of industrial cogeneration systems. Genetic algorithms is coded as a vector of floating point numbers. The results of simulation are evaluated that the genetic algorithms can be applied to perform the operation scheduling.
