The present investigate is a base investigate required in development of DMT wagon train. And it deduced that follows by developing trail analysis model about Modalohr wagon train and examining traveling movement specific using analysis model developed. Vibration acceleration of all direction was increased with addition of travel speed and first suspension. But in case of right and left vibration acceleration, that could influenced by nonlinear specific of first suspension. Therefore checking about those is needed. Frequency of $2{\sim}3\;Hz$ and $7{\sim}8\;Hz$ generated in Right and left, up, down vibration of vehicle. And right and left vibration of bogie generated $25{\sim}35\;Hz$ in low speed section and frequency of $40{\sim}50\;Hz$ in high speed section, $25{\sim}35\;Hz$ in low speed section, $10{\sim}15$ or $40{\sim}50\;Hz$ in high speed section.

To control the torque of the IPMSM, a lookup table is generally used in control system because of its nonlinear characteristics. However, the method of generating the lookup table data has the disadvantage of having difficulty accurately analyzing the changing parameters, generating the current or magnetic flux map is complicated and long test time taken due to motor temperature differences at each test points. In this paper, on the basis of the electromagnetic field design of IPMSM, we devised an electromagnetic field-based magnetic flux map model that can compensate for the pre-generated magnetic flux map through a quick and simple test.
Online simulations are utilized to reduce time and cost in the development and performance optimization of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and electric vehicles (EV) systems. One of the most important factors in an online simulation is the accuracy of the model. In particular, a model of a battery should accurately reflect the properties of an actual battery. However, precise dynamic modeling of high-capacity battery systems, which significantly affects the performance of a PHEV, is difficult because of its nonlinear electrochemical characteristics. In this study, a dynamic model of a high-capacity battery cell for a PHEV is developed through the extraction of the equivalent impedance parameters using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Based on the extracted parameters, a battery cell model is implemented using MATLAB/Simulink, and charging/discharging profiles are executed for comparative verification. Based on the obtained results, the model is optimized for a high-capacity battery cell for a PHEV. The simulation results show good agreement with the experimental results, thereby validating the developed model and verifying its accuracy.
This paper presents a new attitude stabilization and control of an unmanned helicopter based on neural network compensation. A systematic derivation on the dynamics of an unmanned small-scale helicopter is performed. Combined rotor-fuselage-tail dynamics is derived in body-fixed reference frame with its origin at the C.G. of the helicopter. And the resulting nonlinear equation of motion consists of 6-DOF air vehicle dynamics as well as the rotor flapping and engine torque equations. A simulation model was modified using the existing simulator for an unmanned helicopter dynamic model, which reflects the unmanned test helicopter(CNUHELI). The dynamic response of the refined model was compared with the flight test data. It can be shown that a good coincidence was accomplished between the real unmanned helicopter system and the mathematical model. This dynamic model was linearized for classical controller design using small perturbation method. A Neuro-PD control system was designed for both longitudinal and lateral flight modes, and the results were compared with the PD-only control response. Simulation results show that the proposed Neuro-PD control system demonstrates better performance.
In this paper, dynamic modeling with viscoelastic properties of a human body resting on a seat is presented to quantitatively analyze ride quality of passengers exposed to vertical vibrations. In describing the motions of a seated body, a 5 degree-of-freedom multibody model from the literature is investigated. The viscoelastic characteristics of seats used in railway vehicles are mathematically formulated with nonlinear stiffness characteristics and convolution integrals representing time delay terms. Transfer functions for the floor input are investigated and it is found that these are different in accordance with the input magnitude due to nonlinear characteristics of the seat. Measured floor input at the railway vehicle is used to analyze realistic human vibration characteristics. Frequency weighted RMS acceleration values are calculated and the effects of the seat design parameters on the frequency weighted RMS acceleration values are presented.
Autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) are unmanned, underwater vessels that are used to investigate sea environments in the study of oceanography. Docking systems are required to increase the capability of the AUVs, to recharge the batteries, and to transmit data in real time for specific underwater works, such as repented jobs at sea bed. This paper presents a visual :em control system used to dock an AUV into an underwater station. A camera mounted at the now center of the AUV is used to guide the AUV into dock. To create the visual servo control system, this paper derives an optical flow model of a camera, where the projected motions of the image plane are described with the rotational and translational velocities of the AUV. This paper combines the optical flow equation of the camera with the AUVs equation of motion, and deriver a state equation for the visual servo AUV. Further, this paper proposes a discrete-time MIMO controller, minimizing a cost function. The control inputs of the AUV are automatically generated with the projected target position on the CCD plane of the camera and with the AUVs motion. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the modeling and the control law of the visual servo AUV simulations on docking the AUV to a target station are performed with the 6-dof nonlinear equations of REMUS AUV and a CCD camera.

Air springs are prevalently used as suspension in train. However, air springs are seldom used in automobiles where they improve stability and comfort by enhancing the impact-relief, breaking, and cornering performance. Thus, this study proposed a new method to analyze air springs and obtained some reliable design parameter which can be utilized in vehicle suspension system in contrast to conventional method. Among air spring types of suspension, this study focused on sleeve type of air spring as an analysis model since it has potential for ameliorating the quality of automobiles, specifically in its stability and comfort improvement by decreasing the shock through rubber sleeve. As a methodology, this study used MARC, as a nonlinear finite element analysis program, in order to find out maximum stress and maximum strain depending on reinforcement cord's angle variation in sleeves. The properties were found through uniaxial tension and pure shear test, and they were developed using Ogden Foam which is an input program of MARC. As a result, the internal maximum stresses and deformation according to the changes of cord angle are obtained. Also, the results showed that the Young's modulus becomes smaller, then maximum stresses decrease. It is believed that these studies can be contributed in automobile suspension system.
The aim of this paper is to analyze handling qualities of tiltrotor aircraft(TR-S4) in helicopter flight mode including hovering and forward flight. Analysis of handling qualities is composed of aircraft response to control inputs that effect on stability and controllability. In short term response analysis, bandwidth is the critical parameter for small amplitude motions since it relates to the ability of a pilot to crisply start and stop maneuver. The handling qualities of TR-S4 in helicopter mode are analyzed with a SAS and an attitude controller and are satisfied level 1 in almost criteria with simulation of TR-S4 6-DOF nonlinear model.

The mobility of tracked vehicles is mainly influenced by the interaction between tracks and soil, so that the characteristics of their interactions are quite important fur the tracked vehicle study. In particular, the track tension is closely related to the maneuverability of tracked vehicles and the durability of tracks and suspension systems. In order to minimize the excessive load on the tracks and to prevent the peal-off of tracks from the road-wheels, the Dynamic Track Tensioning System (DTTS) which maintains the optimum track tension throughout the maneuver is required. It consists of track tension monitoring system, track tension controller and hydraulic system. In this paper, a dynamic track tensioning system is developed for tracked vehicles which are subject to various maneuvering tasks. The track tension is estimated based on the idler assembly model. Using the monitored track tension and con sidering the highly nonlinear hydraulic units, fuzzy logic controllers are designed in order to control the track tension. The track tensioning performance of the proposed DTTS is verified through the simulation of the Multi -body Dynamics tool.
In order to reduce the time and costs of improving the performance of vehicle suspensions, the techniques for optimizing damping and air spring characteristic were proposed. A full vehicle model for a bus is constructed with a car body, front and rear suspension linkages, air springs, dampers, tires, and a steering system. An air spring and a damper are modeled with nonlinear characteristics using experimental data and a curve fitting technique. The objective function for ride quality is WRMS (Weighted RMS) of the power spectral density of the vertical acceleration at the driver's seat, middle seat and rear seat. The objective function for handling performance is the RMS (Root Mean Squares) of the roll angle, roll rate, yaw rate, and lateral acceleration at the center of gravity of a body during a lane change. The design variables are determined by damping coefficients, damping exponents and curve fitting parameters of air spring characteristic curves. The Taguchi method is used in order to investigate sensitivity of design variables. Since ride and handling performances are mutually conflicting characteristics, the validity of the developed optimum design procedure is demonstrated by comparing the trends of ride and handling performance indices with respect to the ratio of weighting factors. The global criterion method is proposed to obtain the solution of multi-objective optimization problem.
