  • Officers and noncommissioned officers are the leaders of the military. Every year, more than 5,000 first-time officers are commissioned and perform their duties in various parts of the country. There is a conflict between officers and noncommissioned officers over the efficiency of experience. First-time officers are experiencing experience and a loss of authority from older noncommissioned officers and a failure to obey orders. Noncommissioned officers have complaints about first-time officers who want to direct only by class.Conflicts between officers and noncommissioned officers have existed in the past, but some first-time officers were resolved when they gained experience. Recently, the chief executives protested against the Chief of Staff's words and actions. I would like to study the cause of conflict between officers and noncommissioned officers and suggest solutions.

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to evaluate effects of taping therapy on recovery of behavioral symptoms and neural excitability of the lumbar spinal cord in rat model for ankle sprain. Methods : Adult Sprague-Dawley rats was used and divided into 3 experimental groups: normal group(n=6), ankle sprain(n=6), and ankle sprain with taping treatment(n=6). In order to induce ankle sprain the right ankle joint was injured with 4~5 repetitive over-flexions and over-extensions manually. The severity of joint pain was evaluated by measuring foot weight bearing force ratio(FWBRF) of the hind limb and the injury-induced edema formation by diameter of the joint following ankle sprain. The changes of neural excitability in the lumbar spinal cord was tested by observation of cFos protein expression, a metabolic marker for neural excitation. Results : Severity of ankle injury induced in this experiment coincided with Grade 1 ankle sprain. Compared with ankle sprain group, ankle sprain+taping showed a significant reductions of joint pain as well as of edema formation at the ankle joint following ankle sprain. There was significant upregulation of cFos-immunoreactive neurons in the lumbar spinal cord 24 hours after ankle sprain. In contrast, taping therapy resulted in significant inhibition of cFos-immunoreactive neurons in the lumbar spinal cord. Conclusions : Collectively, these results suggest that taping therapy may be an alternative therapeutic intervention for symptom recovery of the mild ankle sprain.

Second, students in the DNO also had a greater problem-solving ability, this difference also being highly significant(t=6.54, p=.000). Third, in analyzing the correlation between self-leadership and problem-solving ability, it was determined that there was a significant(r=.631, p=.000) static correlation between the two. It is anticipated that the results of this study will become a useful tool to support the efficient mastery of necessary for the students of the DNO(according to the school-military agreement). • The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the awareness survey on the experience of fire fighting safety education and living safety consciousness of college students in the department of noncommissioned officer. Additionally, making provision of basic references and the effective fire fighting safety education is another important purpose of this study. In order to evaluate the awareness, the survey consist of 43 queries based on 6 queries for general characters, 9 queries for experiences of fire fighting safety education and 30 queries for living safety consciousness. The collected data from survey was analyzed using SPSS 20.0 win program. The interrelationship for general characters was confirmed using analysis of frequency, percentage, independent T-tset, ANONVA analysis, and regression analysis. The results show that the experience of fire fighting safety education and living safety consciousness of students from the combatant branch and ordnance corps are higher than those students from quartermaster corps. This may be attributed to the presence or absence of safety relevant courses on a curriculum. Therefore, the presence of safety courses on a curriculum should be one of important points for improving the experience of fire fighting safety education and living safety consciousness of these college students.

  • The battlefield environment of the Korean peninsula is rapidly changing due to the advancement of the weapon system brought by the political situation of adjacent countries and the 4th industrial revolution. The reduction of population also caused a sharp drop in the recruitment of military personnel, making it unavoidable to reform the military structure. This meaningful study is timely with recent news reports on the shortage of recruitment by 10,000 persons in the last five years. Universities are also seeing a decrease in the number of new students due to the reduced school-age population, and affiliated universities are responding to this issue with great seriousness. With a reduction in manpower, requirement-handling military units need to step up their efforts to secure competent noncommissioned officers while affiliated universities must also train capable noncommissioned officers. As a solution to the matter at hand, this study aims to suggest a method that may vitalize both the navy and the navy-affiliated universities based on the results of literature research.

  • The interview for the selection of army officers had a lot of interview questions and topical content, so it was difficult to prepare for military officers applicants. Applicants who pass the written evaluation will be selected after passing the final interview. However, as the number of applicants is relatively decreasing due to the improvement of the treatment of the soldiers, it is expected that there will be a shortage of executives to operate advanced equipment in the future. To ensure that excellent applicants do not drop out of the final interview, we intend to provide interview-related data and suggest a unique interview direction for applicants.
