창업준비성이 창업초기기업 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구: 창업준비기간의 조절효과 중심 (An Empirical Study on Influence of Venture Preparation on Business Performance of Initial Venture Foundation: Focused on The Effect of Controlling The Period of Venture Preparation)

  • 최근 우리나라는 창업과 관련된 육성정책이 다른 정책에 비해 우선시 되고 있지만 이를 뒷받침할 수 있는 국내 창업연구는 극히 부족하며 제한적인 실정이다. 연구 내용도 창업자의 개인적인 역량이나 기업가정신에 관한 연구가 주를 이루고 있으며, 연구결과도 명확히 검증되지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기존 연구주제와 다르게 창업자의 노력에 따라 달라질 수 있는 창업 준비 수준의 변수를 중심으로 창업 준비성과 경영성과 사이의 관계에 정부지원 정책의 효율성을 검증하기 위한 목적으로 첫째, 창업 준비성과 재무적성과 사이의 관계, 둘째, 창업 준비성과 비재무적성과 사이의 관계, 셋째, 창업 준비성과 경영성과 사이의 창업 준비 기간의 상호작용 효과를 분석하고 체계적인 창업지원 정책제언을 통해 창업실패의 사회적 비용을 줄이고자 한다. 연구를 위해 창업진흥원의 실태조사 자료 중 업력이 5년 미만의 창업초기 기업 400개를 선정하였으며 통계프로그램 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 통계처리를 하였다. 자료의 특성 정리를 위해 빈도분석, 기술통계를 시행하였고 가설 검증을 위하여 창업 준비성을 측정하는 하위요인으로는 창업교육시간, 창업수혜금액, 배태조직경력을 독립변수로 경영성과를 측정하는 하위요인으로는 재무적 성과와 비재무적성과를 종속변수로 사용하였다, 상호작용 효과를 검증하기 위하여 창업 준비기간을 조절변수로 선정하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 독립변수인 창업수혜금액은 재무적 성과와 비재무적성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 창업교육시간과 배태조직경력이 비재무적성과에 미치는 영향이 창업교육시간은 정(+)의 영향을 배태조직경력은 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 재무적 성과에는 유의하지 않은 것을 검증하였다. 또한 창업 준비기간의 상호작용은 창업수혜금액과 비재무적성과 사이에서만 정(+)의 영향이 있고, 창업교육시간, 배태조직경력과 비재무적성과와 재무적 성과 사이에 상호작용은 유의하지 않은 것을 검증하였다. 연구결과를 통해 취업난 해소를 위한 창업정책 입안자들에게는 창업초기기업의 경영성과 향상을 위한 지원방안을 창업 준비성 수준에 따라 맞춤형 지원정책을 수립하고, 창업지원사업의 실효성을 위해서는 정책의 수립과 운용에 있어 양적인 증가보다는 개별 지원 사업들에 대한 구조적인 문제를 점검하고 질적 수준 향상을 위한 개선방안 마련 및 청년 예비 CEO들에게는 창업이 우선인지 아니면 창업을 위한 철저한 준비가 우선인지 방향을 제시할 수 있다는 점에서 연구의 의미가 있다.

  • This technology is able to construct with hardening UREPALT adhesives and TPO URE-Sheet simultaneously using automatic equipments. the benefit of this construction method is that The layer of waterproofing is uniform and defect of construction would be reduced because of no construction joints between UREPALT adhesives and TPO URE-Sheet. Furthermore, this new method could accomplish shortening of construction period, quality control and saving of labor costs. Also the non-exposure waterproofing method would be protected from fire and safe for workers without using a torch.

  • Transfer pricing mechanism is applied to the problem of input buffer size in the context of interfacing a flexible manufacturing system with multiple following production lines. The size of the input buffers can be determined economically by using non-linear transfer pricing either in a decentralized organization or in a centralized organization. Under the certain conditions, input buffer size determined from this non-linear transfer pricing is more economical than the traditional economic lot size model. The benefit comes from transferring part of FMS' inventory to the following production lines. And this non-linear transfer pricing makes sense if the FMS' unit inventory holding cost is high enough.

Non-linear Responses of Hordeum vulgare Germs to Low Doses of Ionizing Radiation

  • The induction of chromosome aberrations in Hordeum vulgare germs after irradiation is studied for the dose range of 10 to 1,000 mGy. The relationship between the frequency of aberrant cells and the absorbed dose is shown to be non -linear and has a dose-independent plateau within the range of 56-467 mGy where the level of cytogenetic damage is statistically significantly distinguished from the spontaneous level. The comparison of the goodness of the experimental data fitting with mathematical models of different complexities, using the most common quantitative criteria, demonstrates the benefit of the piecewise linear model over the linear and polynomial ones in approximating the cytogenetical disturbance frequency. The results of our study support the conclusion about indirect mechanism of chromosome aberrations induced by low doses or dose rates mutagenesis.

Exploiting Static Non-Uniform Cache Architectures for Hard Real-Time Computing

  • High-performance processors using Non-Uniform Cache Architecture (NUCA) are increasingly used to deal with the growing wire delays in multicore/manycore processors. Due to the convergence of high-performance computing with embedded computing, NUCA caches are expected to benefit high-end embedded systems as well. However, for real-time systems that use multicore processors with NUCA caches, it is crucial to bound worst-case execution time (WCET) accurately and safely. In this paper, we developed a WCET analysis approach by considering the effect of static NUCA caches on WCET. We compared the WCET in real-time applications with different topologies of static NUCA caches. Our experimental results demonstrated that the static NUCA cache could improve the worst-case performance of realtime applications using multicore processor compared to the cache with uniform access time.

  • Cystitis and proctitis are defined as inflammation of bladder and rectum respectively. Haemorrhagic cystitis is the most severe clinical manifestation of radiation and chemical cystitis. Radiation proctitis and cystitis are major complications following radiotherapy. Prevention of radiation-induced haemorrhagic cystitis has been investigated using various oral agents with minimal benefit. Bladder irrigation remains the most frequently adopted modality followed by intra-vesical instillation of alum or formalin. In intractable cases, surgical intervention is required in the form of diversion ureterostomy or cystectomy. Proctitis is more common in even low dose ranges but is self-limiting and improves on treatment interruption. However, treatment of radiation proctitis is broadly non-invasive or invasive. Non-invasive treatment consists of non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), anti-oxidants, sucralfate, short chain fatty acids and hyperbaric oxygen. Invasive treatment consists of ablative procedures like formalin application, endoscopic YAG laser coagulation or argon plasma coagulation and surgery as a last resort.

  • Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide, and more than 80% of cases are of non-small cell lung cancer. Although chemotherapy and molecularly targeted therapy may provide some benefit, there is a need for newer therapies for the treatment of patients with advanced NSCLC. Immunotherapy aims to augment the recognition of cancer as foreign, to stimulate immune responsiveness, and to relieve the inhibition of the immune response that allows tolerance to tumor survival and growth. Two immunotherapeutic approaches showing promise in NSCLC are immune checkpoint inhibition and cancer vaccination. Although currently immunotherapy does not have an established role in the treatment of NSCLC, these patients should be enrolled in formal clinical trials.

  • Feature based design approach is widely studied for the application of mechanical part design and process planning. Mechanical parts are associated with volumetric form features in nature. Therfore, one of the important characteristics that reside in the form feature research until now is that features have been studied in connection with CAPP for material removal. We studied the application of feature based design for ship structure design. Ship structure has interesting nature that tis distinct from mechanical parts. Among these are multiple cell structure, non-volumetric part and production by welding or assembling. An idea of applying feature based design paradigm for design, process planning, cost analysis and engineering calculation was shown. Non-manifold geometric modeler ACIS was adopted to fully benefit from the non-manifold nature of ship structure.

Adolescents' Attitudes toward Counterfeits: Consumer Ethics & Reference Group Influence

  • Counterfeiting is a fast growing market worldwide. The purposes of this study were to examine adolescents' attitudes toward counterfeits, their ethical beliefs, and reference group influence on purchasing counterfeits. Two hundred thirteen high school students in Seoul and subside, South Korea, voluntarily participated in the study. As the results, approximately 30% of the adolescents had purchased counterfeits. Also, the adolescent buyers of counterfeits tended to purchase counterfeit goods as more alternative of genuine products than non-buyers, and did have more positive feeling toward counterfeits than non-buyers of counterfeits. In addition, adolescent buyers of counterfeits had lower consumer ethics than non-buyers. Finally, adolescents who have purchased counterfeits were more influenced by their peer group than those who have not. The findings would benefit marketers and educators in understanding of adolescents' purchasing counterfeit products, and contribute to develop strategies regarding counterfeits. Based on these results, some strategies for marketers and educators would be suggested.

Contemporary Strategies: Incorporating Immunotherapy into Stage 3 Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Treatment

  • Stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) exhibits significant diversity, making it challenging to define an optimal treatment. A collaborative multidisciplinary approach is essential in crafting individualized treatments. Previously, targeted therapies and immunotherapies were commonly used to treat patients with advanced and metastatic lung cancer. Such treatments are now being extended to individuals considered surgery, as well as patients once considered unsuitable for surgery. These changes have increased surgical success and substantially reduced postoperative recurrence. However, the possibility of severe adverse effects from immunotherapy can deter some patients from performing surgery. It is essential to carefully explore the clinical traits and biomarkers of patients who may benefit the most from immunotherapy, and patients for whom immunotherapy should not be prescribed. In summary, it's crucial to effectively integrate the latest immunotherapy in treating stage 3 NSCLC patients, thereby increasing their opportunities for surgical intervention, and ensuring they receive the best possible care.
