일부 한국성인의 성, 연령 및 생활습관에 따른 혈청지질 농도 (Serum Lipids by Gender, Age and Lifestyle in Korean Adults)

  • The purpose of this study was to measure serum lipids concentrations by gender and age, and to investigated the relation of serum lipids levels to cigarette smoking alcohol intake exercise and menopausal status in Korean adults. The subjects consisted of 463 healthy adult(29- men and 173 women) volunteers who were visiting the health Promotion Center in the Asan Medical Center from July 1, 1994 to July 22, 1994 Subjects were ambulatory free-living people and aged 20- 80 years, Anthropometric measurement was performed and serum triglyceride(TG), HDL-cholesterol and total cholesterol(TChol) concentrations were measure by automatic system(Hitachi 736-40). Data on life styles were obtained using structured questionnaires issued by a trained interviewer, All data were statistically analyzed by PC-SAS(Version 6.04) Serum concentrations of triglyceride and total cholesterol was higher(p<0.05) in men than in women, and serum HDL-cholesterol was lower(p<0.05) in men than in women. The prevalence of hyperlipidemia(TG>170 mg/dL and TChol>220 mg /dL) was 12.5% in men and 4.1% in women. The levels of serum triglyceride, total cholesterol and BMI increased with age in women. The distribution curves of serum triglyceride, total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol of women were located in lower increased more rapidly with aging than in men, The distribution curves of BMI of women increased with aging after the thirties, The BMI of women was located in higher levels than of men in their sixties. The serum concentration of triglyceride and total cholesterol of male current-smokers and non- smokers were significantly(p<0.05) higher than those of ex-smokers. The concentrations triglyceride the male current0drinkers were higher(p<0.05) than those of male non-drinkers. In non-smokers and non- drinkers, serum TG concentration were lower (p<0.05) than those of current-smokers and current-drinkers. In exercisers, the serum triglyceride concentration was significantly(p<0.05) lower than in non- exercisers. In postmenopausal woman BMI and serum concentrations of TChol, TG and LDL-Chol were significantly by age and gender and smoking alcohol drinking, exercise and menopausal staus might be a better indicator to predict serum lipids in both genders.

강재 품질에 따른 격자지보재의 성능평가 (Performance evaluation of lattice girder depending on the quality of steel)

  • 본 논문은 격자지보재의 규격자재와 비규격자재의 성능평가에 대한 내용을 다루었다. 격자보재는 강봉으로 제작된 아치형의 터널지보공을 말하며 터널 굴착시 지반의 변형을 최대로 억제하여 터널의 안정성을 확보하기 위하여 사용되어지는 지보재이다. 이런 격자지보재의 성능평가는 휨강도시험과 인장강도시험을 통해 평가할 수 있으며 터널표준시방서에서는 항복강도 500MPa 이상인 용접용 강재를 사용도록 규정하고 있다. 그러나 저품질의 강재가 사용될 경우 현장에서 규격자재와 비규격자재를 육안으로 구분하기 어렵게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 격자지보재의 규격자재와 비규격자재에 대한 성능평가를 실시하여 비규격자재의 항복강도 저하의 문제점을 분석하였다.

  • Traditionally, the Supreme Court has held that medical treatment agreements covered by national health insurance should be distinguished from other medical treatment agreements which are viewed as a consummation of the autonomous free will between doctor and patient. Namely, the Supreme Court views medical treatment agreements covered by national health insurance to be bound by the National Health Insurance Law with the intent to promote the applicability and comprehensiveness of the national health insurance scheme. Yet, issues of voluntary non-reimbursable treatments are triggered not only by the mistakes or moral hazard of medical care institutions but also by systemic limitations of national health insurance coverage criteria. Thus, there is a need for legislative measures that allow certain medical treatments to be included or reflected in the national health insurance coverage system so that patients may receive prompt and flexible medical treatments. To reflect such concerns, the Supreme Court made an exception for voluntary non-reimbursable treatments and developed a strict test to be applied in such cases in Supreme Court Judgment 2010 Doo 27639, 27646 (ruled on June 8, 2012 by the Grand Bench). Such judgment, however, is not a fundamental overturn of the Supreme Court's prior rulings that voluntary non-reimbursable treatments are not allowed under the law. It is only a slight revision of its previous stance for cases in which there is a lack of legislative measures to make coverage of a new yet valid medical treatment possible under the current national health insurance coverage system.

농구 패스 리시브 시 숙련자와 비숙련자 간의 동작의 부드러움과 손가락 및 상지 협응의 차이 (Differences of Smoothness and Coordination of the Fingers and Upper Extremities between Skilled and Non-skilled Players during Receiving the Basketball)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of smoothness and coordination of the fingers and upper extremities between skilled and non-skilled players during receiving the basketball. Method: Ten male recreational basketball players (age: $23.2{\pm}2.7yrs.$, career: $8.6{\pm}1.6yrs.$, height: $177.3{\pm}6.0$, weight: $72.9{\pm}8.5kg$) careering over five years and ten non-skilled males (age: $27.3{\pm}1.5yrs.$, height: $173.7{\pm}5.6$, weight: $73.2{\pm}12.6kg$) were participated in this study. Then, participants were asked to perform basketball receiving movement for ten times. The receiving movements were recorded by eight infrared cameras (Oqus 300, Qualisys, Sweden). The collected rad data were calculated to duration of basketball receiving, Jerk-Cost, CRP and CRP variability. Results: The CRP of MCP-Wr, Wr-El in skilled group were greater than non-skilled group (p<.05). The CRP variability of El-Sh in non-skilled group was greater than skilled group (p<.05). Conclusion: These results suggest that skilled players perform more effective movement for impact absorption from the basketball. Moreover, the skilled players have consistent movement patterns during basketball performance. Lastly, it is important to train finger sensation and cognitive ability of thrown basketball from the passer.

개에서 Poloxamer / Sodium Alginate 혼합물의 복강 유착 방지 효과 (The Effects of Poloxamer/Sodium Alginate Mixture Barriers on Prevention of Post-Operative Peritoneal Adhesion in Dogs)

  • 이 실험의 목적은 개에서 poloxamer/sodium alginate 혼합물(PX/SA)의 수술 후 복강 유착 방지 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 잡종견 15마리를 무처치군, 2% Sodium carboxymethylcellulose(SCMC)처치군, PX/SA 처치군으로 각각 5마리씩 배치하였다. 유착은 돌창자의 창자간막 대측에 1 ${\times}$ 1 cm 크기로 미세 점상 출혈 찰과상을 일으켜 유도하였다. SCMC 용액은 카테터를 통하여 복강내 주입하였고, PX/SA는 찰과상 부위에 단순히 도포하였다. 수술 전 1일과 수술 후 1일, 4일, 7일, 14일에 정맥에서 혈액을 채취하여 적혈구수, 총백혈구수, 섬유소원농도를 분석하고, 수술 후 21일에 유착정도를 computerized tensiometer를 이용하여 분석하였다. 적혈구수, 총백혈구수, 섬유소원농도는 각 군간에 유의성은 없다. 유착부 분리에 필요한 평균 장력은 무처치군에서 173.05 ${\pm}$ 113.48 gf, SCMC 처치군에서 111.42 ${\pm}$ 38.25 gf, PX/SA 처치군에서 69.00 ${\pm}$ 45.07 gf였다. PX/SA 처치군의 평균 분리 장력이 다른 두 군에 비하여 유의성 있게 낮았다 (p < 0.05). 본 실험 결과로 PX/SA는 SCMC용액과 비교하여 복강유착을 감소시키는 것으로 보아 PX/SA를 개에서 복강 수술 후 유착 방지에 적용 가능한 것으로 생각한다.

고강도 PSC 휨부재의 비선형 모멘트-곡률 관계와 전산구조해석 (Nonlinear Moment-Curvature Relations and Numerical Structural Analysis of High-Strength PSC Flexural Members)

  • 고강도 PSC 콘크리트 휨부재의 비선형 수치해석을 위해 적층법과 설계기준에 의한 비선형 모멘트 -곡률 관계의 계산방법이 제안되었다. 제안된 수치해석에 의한 모멘트-곡률 관계와 처짐계산을 위한 비선형 수치해석 과정에 의한 계산결과는 해석적인 방법에 의한 모멘트-곡률 관계 그리고 기존의 고강도 PSC 콘크리트 휨부재에 대한 실험결과와 비교되었다. 이 논문의 적층법에 의한 에너지흡수율은 강도설계법과 CEB-FIP 제안식보다 약 30%크게 계산되었다. 적층법에 의한 극한하중과 외부일은 각각 실험결과의 92%와 85%로 안전하게 계산되었으며, 강도설계법은 97%와 122%로 극한하중에 대해서는 안전하나 외부일은 과대 평가되었다. CEB-FIP 제안식은 극한하중과 외부일에서 실험결과의 113% 와 173%로 고강도 콘크리트에 대한 극한변형률 0.0035의 적용에 문제가 있었다 제안된 비선형 수치해석 과정은 고강도 PS 콘크리트 휨부재의 거동을 극한상태까지 안정적으로 해석할 수 있었으며, 극한하중의 80%가지 하중-처짐 관계와 균열의 전파정도의 계산결과는 실험결과와 유사하였다

당화단백질의 형성에 미치는 인삼의 효과 (Effects of Ginseng on the Formation of Glycated Protein)

  • 당화헤모글로빈의 형성을 포함한 당뇨병에 대한 인삼의 보호작용에 대하여 조사하고자 인산완충용액으로 포도당(1.5 g/dl), 헤모글로빈(10 g/dl) 및 홍삼액기스(0.5 g/dl)의 혼합용액(1 : 1 : 1, v/v/v)을 생산하여 시험관에 옮긴 후 37$^{\circ}C$에서 5일간 배양하였다. 또한 웅성 백서를 각 군당 20두씩 할당하여 건강한 군과 streptozotocin으로 유발된 당뇨군으로 나누고 이를 다시 인삼투여군과 그 대조군으로 나누어 홍삼액기스를 음용수에 용해하여 100 mg/kg/day의 용량을 3개월 동안 투여하였다. 혈당의 농도와 당화헤모글로빈의 비율은 시판되는 키트를 사용하여 측정하였다. 홍삼액기스를 첨가한 시험관의 당화헤모글로빈이 첨가하지않는 대조군에 비하여 유의하게 감소되었으며(12.17$\pm$1.01% : 15.9$\pm$ 1.95%, p<0.01) 홍삼액기스를 투여한 당뇨쥐의 혈당은 그 대조군에 비하여 유의한 차이가 없음에도 불구하고 3개월 후의 당화헤모글로빈의 비율이 유의하게 감소되었다(15.1$\pm$2.06% : 20.1$\pm$2.9%, p<0.05). 또한 3개월 후 홍삼액기스를 투여한 당뇨쥐는 그 대조군에 비하여 체중이 증가 되었으며 음수량이 감소 되었다. 이런 결과들로 보아 인삼은 당화단백질의 형성을 저혈당 작용이 아닌 다른 방법으로도 억제할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

혁신도시 건설에 관한 동태적 분석 (Dynamic Analysis on the Construction of the Innovative City)

  • In Korean context, the innovative cities imply new towns or urban clusters in the Non Capital Regions, all of which would accommodate the relocated Capital based public organizations. The central government-initiated innovative cities have provoked pros and cons towards their effectiveness and efficacy for the balanced territorial development. From a broader prospective, this paper firstly examines the current status quo of the innovative cities. Based on their master plans, it analyzes physical and non physical factors which would exert significant impact on the innovative cities. Secondly, it pays attention to how key factors strengthen or weaken their behavioral patterns in terms of dynamic location and implementation policies of the innovative cities. Using System dynamics approaches, it sets up couples of scenarios, categorizing between supporting and opposing arguments towards the innovative cities. Lastly, after divulging systematic structure of the innovative cities, it proposes a series of practical alternatives which would contribute to minimizing unexpected side effects or unwanted social cost in the long run. In order to guarantee reinforcing structure of the innovative cities, the paper suggests that QOL (quality of life) variables, which would require continuous investment in the social infrastructure, are pivotal in achieving original goals of the innovative cities. Otherwise, the innovative cities would not be innovative per se. In the worst case, they might be degraded into the unpopular ghost towns.

Understanding of Interactions Between Acanthamoeba and Escherichia coli on Cell-Based System

  • Free-living Acanthamoeba are eukaryotic protozoan organisms that are widely distributed in the air, water, etc such as environment. Acanthamoeba ingest the Escherichia coli which will replicate in cytoplasm of Acanthamoeba. Bacterial pathogenicity or virulence is one of important determinant factors to survive in free-living Acanthamoeba and otherwise Acanthamoebic pathogenicity is also an important factor for their interactions. Bacterial association with pathogenic strain of Acanthamoeba T1 and T4 was lower about two times than non-pathogenic T7. Bacterial invasion percentages into T1 were higher about three times than T7 but bacterial survival in T7 was increased as T1. The capsule-deletion mutant exhibited limited ability for invasion/uptake by and survival inside pathogenic Acanthamoeba T4. E. coli-outer membrane protein A (OmpA) decreased bacterial association with A. castellanii by about three times and it had higher effects than lipopolysaccharides (LPS). Under favorable conditions, the mutants were not survived in Acanthamoeba up to 24 h incubation. Therefore, this review will report pathogenic and non-pathogenic Acanthamoeba strains interactions with E. coli and its several mutants, i.e., capsule, OmpA and LPS.

파력을 받는 해양케이블의 동적 비선형 해석 (Dynamic Nonlinear Analysis of Ocean Cables Subjected to Wave Forces)

  • 김등(1999)은 등매개 케이블요소(isoparametric cable element)의 접선강성행렬과 질량행렬을 유도하고, 하중증분법을 이용하여 지점 변위를 일으키고 자중, 부력 및 조류력을 받는 해양케이블의 초기평형 상태를 결정하였다. 또한 초기의 정적평형상태를 기준으로 자유진동해석법을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 이전의 연구를 확장시켜서 파랑하중을 받는 해양 케이블의 비선형 동적 해석을 수행한다. 규칙파 및 불규칙파에 의한 파력을 받는 수중케이블에 대하여 비선형해석을 수행하고, 해석결과의 결과분석을 통하여 해양케이블의 동적특성을 파악한다.
