건설업의 경우 공사기간 내에 최소한의 수수료로 완제품을 인도할 수 있도록 공정과 원가의 관계를 적절히 분배해야 한다. 이때 교량의 크기, 공법, 공장의 환경과 생산능력, 운송거리 등을 고려해야 한다. 그러나 공사기간 중 발생하는 다양한 원인으로 인해 공사지연, 공사비 상승, 품질 및 신뢰성 저하 등의 문제가 발생하고 있다. 따라서, 기존의 방식에서 탈피하기 위해서는 체계적이고 과학적인 시공기술과 공정관리 기술이 필요하다. 프리팹(Pre - Fabrication)은 공장에서 제작하여 현장에서 시공하는 대표적 OSC(Off-Site Construcation) 공법이다. 본 연구에서는 프리팹 교량 거더인 Nodular 거더의 공정관리를 위한 자원 및 공정계획 최적화 시스템 개발이다. 인력, 장비 동원 계획의 다양한 변수를 자동으로 테스트하여 최적의 값을 도출하는 시뮬레이션 알고리즘을 개발한다. 그리고, 건설 중인 파주-포천 고속도로 건설공사(3공구) 도하 4교에 알고리즘을 적용하여 그 결과를 비교한다. 건설공사 표준품셈을 근거로 액티비티 카드에 실제 투입된 인력, 장비 종류, 수량 등을 적용하고, 작업량, 자원계획, 자원소요량을 반영했다. 향후 다양한 현장 데이터를 포함한 예측기법을 적용하여 프로그램의 정확도를 높일 계획이다.

네트워크 인프라가 확대되면서 보안에 대한 중요성도 더불어 커지고 있으며, 또한 보안 게이트웨이에 대한 관심도 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 라우터인 Click Modular Router를 이용하여 게이트웨이에서 비정상 트래픽을 제거하는 필터링 기능과 내부 네트워크 정보를 은닉하는 기능물 제공하기 위한 트래픽 처리 구조를 제안한다.

33-year old female was admitted chest surgery department for evaluation of mild chest pain. Chest plain film showed right anterior mediastinal mass and small metastatic daughter mass ipsilateral side. Exploratory thoracotomy was performed 24th Aug. 83 revealed that small nodular parenchymal mass at right middle lobe and large cystic mass at anterior mediastinum which was connected with anterior mediastinal fat. Histological examination confirmed diagnosis as pulmonary hamartoma and thymic cyst individually. We successfully treated these two masses by wedge resection and excision. Although postoperative course was uneventful, the cause and associated relationship between two tumor origin were obscure.

In order to investigate the effects of pulse plating conditions on the electrodeposition of trivalent chromium, electroplating experiments from bath with low concentration of trivalent chromium were performed. The variation of current efficiency of chromium electroplating with the electroplating conditions was explained. The maximum current efficiency of pulse plating is 6.4 times as high as that of direct plating at the same mean current density The nodular size increased with pulse plating time and the pulse frequency.

Asymmetric polymeric membranes prepared by the phase transition technique usually have either a top layer consisting of closely packed nodules or pores dispersed throughout the membrane surfaces. In this study, we present AFM image of a polysulfone membrane which show a clear evidence for the nodular structure and porous structure resulted from different phase separation mechanisms; spinodal decomposition and nucleation and growth. The surface morphology obtained by SEM and AFM was also compared.

Objective: Case study on the improvement of acne through application of Ortho-Cellular Nutrition Therapy (OCNT) Method: Implementation of OCNT on a 25-year old Korean male due to severe acne symptoms Results: Symptoms such as skin rash and wounds as well as the overall skin conditions improved following the implementation of OCNT. Conclusion: Application of OCNT can be helpful in alleviation of symptoms in patients suffering from acne.

The effects of radiation on the corrosion of canister materials were investigated for the reliable disposal of high-level radioactive waste. The test specimens were gamma-irradiated at a very low dose rate of approximately 0.1 Gy/h for six and twelve months. The copper and cast iron species were less corroded when irradiated. It is hypothesized that gamma rays suppress the formation of lower-enthalpy species like metal oxides and activate reductive reactions. In contrast, it was difficult to evaluate the effect of radiation on the corrosion of titanium and stainless steel.

Cryptococcosis is an invasive fungal infection, which is more common in immunocompromised patients. However, pulmonary cryptococcosis can occur in immunocompetent patients and should be considered on a differential diagnosis for nodular or mass-like lesions in chest radiograph. Recently, we experienced a patient with pulmonary cryptococcosis, successfully treated with oral fluconazole therapy. A 74-year-old female patient was referred for an evaluation of abnormal images, a large consolidative mass with multiple nodular consolidations and small nodules that mimics primary lung cancer with multiple lung to lung metastases. Computed tomography-guided lung biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of pulmonary cryptococcosis. The follow-up image taken after 4 months with oral fluconazole treatment showed marked improvement.

Hepatic fibrosis is one of chronic liver diseases which spread in worldwide and it has high risk to turn advanced cirrhosis and hepatocellualr carcinoma. Brassica family has been produced for commercial purpose and in Korea Brassica rapa (Turnip) is cultivated in Ganghwa County, Gyeonggi-do Korea and used for making Kimchi. Recently pharmacological effects of turnip have been known; diabete mellitus modulation, alcohol oxidization, and fibrosis inhibition. In previous study we found antifibrogenic effect of turnip water extract and in this study we made turnip nanoparticle to promote turnip delivery into liver. At the same time we assessed the biological safety of turnip nanoparticle. Thioacetamide (TAA) induced hepatic nodular formation and fibrosis (mean of fibrosis score: 4). However, 1% turnip nanoparticle inhibited TAA-induced hepatic nodular formation and fibrosis (mean of fibrosis score: 2-3). Activities of serum enzymes (aspartic acid transaminase (AST), alanine transaminase (ALT), and total bilirubin (T-Bil)), complete blood count (CBC), and the appearance of organs were not different from control and 1% turnip nanoparticle treatment. Conclusively 1% turnip nanoparticle significantly reduced TAA-induced hepatic fibrosis and was safe in 7-weeks feeding.

2005년 여름에 국내에서 사육되는 가물치에서 대량폐사를 수반하는 새로운 질병이 발견되었다. 감염 어류는 복부팽만과 항문 주위 출혈 이외의 특이한 외부 증상을 나타내지 않았으나 복부를 절개하면 많은 수의 백색 결절이 간, 비장 및 신장을 포함한 내부 장기에서 관찰되었다. 특히 내부 장기의 조직병리학적 관찰에서 granuloma가 관찰되었다. 이들 감염 어류에서 Gram 양성의 사상균이 분리되었다. 분리균은 Nocardia spp.와 non-Nocardia 균의 16S rRNA 염기 분석에 기초한 Nocardia 특이 primer를 사용한 PCR 방법으로 확인하였다. 이것은 어류에서 발생한 Nocardia 감염증의 국내 첫 사례이다.
