-침술효과 객관화를 위한 연구- 접지와 절연조건이 경락전위에 미치는 영향 (Influence on Meridians Electric Potential for Electrical Ground and Insulation)

  • When a patient is positioned at insulated bed and practitioner is positioned at insulated floor, that condition could be a cause of lessening effect in acupuncture practice. We investigated how Ground connection and Insulation could influence on the electrical meridian potential between practitioner and patient during acupuncture practice. We treated 30 normal healthy subjects with acupuncture and measured changes in the electrical potential between the stomach meridian points ST-39 and ST-37 in response to light touch after insertion of a needle at ST-36. At first, we stimulated non-insulated needle and measured electrical potentials for non ground, patient ground only, practitioner ground only, all ground respectively. Then we used insulated needles and measured same as above. Non-insulated all ground subject elicited positive mean potential $44.6{\pm}19.2{\mu}V$ and showed $181.4{\pm}59.7{\mu}V$ peak to peak potential. Practitioner ground only showed negative mean potential of $51.5{\pm}9.3{\mu}V$ and $367.4{\pm}27.8{\mu}V$ of peak to peak potential. Patient ground only revealed no mean potential of $2.9{\pm}1.3{\mu}V$, $16.4{\pm}11.9{\mu}V$ of peak to peak potential. All ground showed no mean potential of $1.6{\pm}0.7{\mu}V$, $3.3{\pm}1.9{\mu}V$ of peak to peak potential. In case of Insulated condition, there elicited no mean potential. Non ground and Practitioner only showed weak value of peak to peak potential as $7.8{\pm}2.6{\mu}V$ and $8.4{\pm}2.5{\mu}V$ each. But patient only and all ground showed no potential as $4.7{\pm}2.2{\mu}V$, $3.4{\pm}2.2{\mu}V$, respectively. Therefore, Ground connection modulate the energy transfer course between practitioner and patient. Insulation block energy transfer but static electrical impulse between practitioner and patient.

  • 본 논문은 블루투스 헤드셋의 구현에 대해 기술한다. 블루투스 헤드셋은 ACL 연결을 통하여 헤드셋과 오디오 게이트웨이 사이의 link를 선정하고, SCO 연결을 통하여 64kbps의 음성을 전송한다. 본 논문에서 구현한 블루투스 헤드셋은 HCI가 없는 구조로 설계되어 블루투스 모듈내에 모든 프로토콜 스택이 구현되었고, 헤드셋에 구현된 상위 프로토콜 및 응용 프로그램에 대해서 Unix 환경에서 C-language modeling을 통하여 검증하였다.

총폐정맥 환류이상의 수술적 교정및 후발성 폐정맥 협착 (Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection; Surgical Correction and Late Pulmonary Venous Obstruction)

  • Twelve patients underwent surgical correction of total anomalous pulmonary venous connection[TAPVC] between Sep. 1989 and May 1993. There were 9 boys and 3 girls whose ages ranged from 10 days to 17 month [median 1.2 month]. Six patients were less than 1 month of age at operation. The anomalous drainage was supracardiac in 6, cardiac in 2, infracardiac in 2, and mixed in 2. There were 3 early death, and its mortality rate was 25%. There were no operative mortality after Sep. 1991. Age at operation, presence of preoperative pulmonary venous obstruction, preoperative assisted ventilation and type of anomaly did not affect early mortality. Late pulmonary venous obstruction was developed in 4 patients between 1 month to 4 month after operation. Among these patients, 2 were died and one was reoperated and well, and the other one was not operated because of patient`s refusal. We conclude that late pulmonary venous obstruction is fatal and its early detection and correction is important for improving late survival.

Criss-Cross heart 를 동반한 심장기형의 수술 치험 4례 보 (Surgical experience in Criss-Cross heart: report of 4 cases)

  • The criss-cross, a term first used by Anderson and Ando , is a rare cardiac malformation in which the systemic and pulmonary blood streams cross at the atrioventricular level, without mixing. We have surgically experienced four cases of crossed atrioventricular connection, three concordant and one discordant, at Seoul National University Hospital from July 1982 to March 1984. The atrial situs, the atrioventriculoarterial connection, the spatial position of the ventricles, and associated cardiac anomalies were analyzed. We have performed right Blalock-Taussig shunt for case 1, modified Fontan operation for case 2, patch closure of VSD for case 3, and septation of common ventricle with primary closure of ASD for case 4. The relatively good postoperative results in these patients were gratifying and suggest that cardiac anomalies associated with this rare malformation can be successfully repaired without further risk. To our knowledge, this is the first report of surgical experience for criss-cross heart in the Korean literature.

  • Recently, it is used to join an building to an underground shopping-area in urban. When we construct Seo-Cho Complex building which is in Seoul, we also construct an underground passage to the Gangnam underground shopping-area. But it is difficult to excavate in the downtown area, because excavations induce traffic jam and public discontent. Considering safety, a confined area, settlements, we decided to use DSM(Divided Shield Method) which is based on messer shield. This paper will produce our experience and the results provide a useful guide in a connection tunnel

Isolated Ventricular Inversion and Anatomically Corrected Malposition of the Great Arteries Associated with Right Juxtaposition of Left Atrial Appendage: A case of Successful surgical repair

  • A seven month old female infant with isolated ventricular inversion and anatomically corrected malposition of the great arteries in situs solitus, associated with ventricular septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, right-sided juxtaposition of left atrial appendage, is reported. The patient showed usual atrial arrangement with somewhat superoinferior relation, a discordant atrioventricular connection, and a concordant ventriculoarterial connection with aorta in the right-sided position. A normal sized left atrium was connected to the left superiorly positioned morphologic right ventricle through a tricuspid valve, which crossed the left ventricular outflow tract anteriorly. Well developed bilateral[subaortic and sub-pulmonary]conus was documented at operative field. successful surgical repair was done by performing the Senning procedure and by closing the ventricular sepal defect with a patch through the right ventriculotomy. The infant’s postoperative course was uneventful with normal sinus rhythm. Postoperative cardiac catheterization revealed no hemodynamic obstruction or residual shunt.

The Dependence of Mechanical Strain on a-Si:H TFTs and Metal Connection Fabricated on Flexible Substrate

  • We evaluated a-Si:H TFTs fabricated on polyimide substrate (PI) at the highest temperature of $160^{\circ}C$ with uniaxial and tensile strain to imitate flexible display. With tensile strain, the threshold voltage of a-Si:H TFTs have positive shift due to extra dangling bond formation in a-Si:H layer. However, no significant degradation of the subthreshold swing and effective mobility with tensile strain of a-Si:H TFTs indicates the similar level of band tail state. The metal wire with the width of $10\;{\mu}m$ for connection on flexible substrate can sustain with curvature radius 2.5 cm.

  • In this study, coupler on the safety of meeting the requirements and construction and economy to satisfy the number of parts to minimize an LK-DK coupler has been developed, affordability existing reinforcing bar joint, welded joint, mechanical joints, compared with a favorable one to the understanding, and also facilitate the construction and logistics, etc. I've found that there is no additional pay because the amount of product performance through the tensile test after test, if commercialization is expected to be greater ramifications.

  • This paper proposes a switching control method applicable to any affine, 2nd order nonlinear system with single input. The key contribution is to develop a control design method which uses a piecewise continuous Lyapunov function non-increasing at every discontinuous point. The proposed design method requires no restrictions except full state availability. To obtain a non-increasing, piecewise continuous Lyapunov function, we change the sign of off-diagonal term s of the positive definite matrix composing the former Lyapunov function according to the sign of the Inter-connection term. And we use the solution of inequalities which guarantee each Lyapunov function is non-increasing at any discontinuous point.

Inner Evaporative Cooling Wind Power Generator with Non-overlapping Concentrated Windings

  • As the space of the wind power generator stator end is limited, it is difficult for us to place the inner evaporative cooling system in it. We use the non-overlapping concentrated windings scheme to solve the placing and cooling problem. The characteristic of a 5MW direct-driven permanent magnet generator with non-overlapping concentrated windings were analyzed under no-load, rating-load and short-circuit by (Finite Element Method) FEM for verification of design. We studied the connection methods of the stator windings and designed the end connection member. The heat dissipation of the stator end was simulated by FEM, the result showed that the end cooling could satisfy the wind generator operation needs. These results show that the direct-driven permanent magnet wind power generators with non-overlapping concentrated windings and inner evaporative cooling system can solve the cooling problem of wind power generator, and obtain good performance at the same time.
