  • 본 논문에서는 next-bit 검정의 이론적 배경을 고찰하고, 실제적인 검정법으로 구현된 검정방법에 대하여 조사 분석한다. Next-bit 검정 이론은 Schrift와 Shamir가 제시한 다양한 검정방법을 중심으로 소개한다. 그리고 구현된 통계적 검정 방법은 ACISP'96에서 발표된 검정법과 CISC'97에서 제안된 검정법을 비교 분석한다.

  • "The FAA's Next Generation Air Transportation System" is a comprehensive overhaul of U.S National Airspace System to make air travel more convenient and dependable, while ensuring the flight is as safe, secure and hassle-free as possible. At its most basic level, NextGen represents an evolution from a ground-based system of air traffic control to a satellite-based system of air traffic management. This evolution is vital to meeting future demand, and to avoiding gridlock in the sky and at U.S airports. NextGen will open worldwide's skies to continued growth and increased safety while reducing aviation's environmental impact.

  • In this paper, the communication between Over-Current Relay agents is realized using DNP(Distributed Network Protocol), which is the standard communication protocol of distribution automation system in KEPKO. The key words in OCR agent communication are defined and represented by use of DNP application function code. And the DNP index for OCR agent is defined. The proposed communication scheme is tested by use of Communication Test Harness, a test tool for DNP protocol to show its soundness.

  • This paper suggests an optimal parameter setting method by use of parametric protectability index, as the objective function. In this paper, a gradient based optimization method is used under the assumption that the initial values of a parameter is in a convex set including the optimal value, which is verified by a plenty of simulation studies. The proposed method is applied to a sample distribution network to shows its effectiveness.

  • Heat generation and temperature of a battery is usually presented by an equation of current. This means that we need to adopt time domain calculation to obtain thermal characteristics of the battery. To avoid the complicated calculations using time domain, 'state of charge (SOC)' can be used as an independent variable. A SOC based calculation method is elucidated through the comparison between the calculated results and experimental results together. Experiments are carried for rapid resistive discharge of a large-capacitive lithium secondary battery to evaluate variations of cell potential, current and temperature. Calculations are performed based on open-circuit cell potential (SOC,T), internal resistance (SOC,T) and entropy (SOC) with specific heat capacity.

  • In the recommendation system of the credit card company, it is necessary to understand the customer patterns to predict a customer's next merchant based on their histories. The data we want to model is much more complex and there are various patterns that customers choose. In such a situation, it is necessary to use an effective model that not only shows the relevance of the merchants, but also the relevance of the customers relative to these merchants. The proposed model aims to predict the next merchant for the customer. To improve prediction performance, we propose a novel model, called Customer-based Recommendation Model (CRM), to produce a more efficient representation of customers. For the next merchant recommendation system, we use a synthetic credit card usage dataset, BC'17. To demonstrate the applicability of the proposed model, we also apply it to the next item recommendation with another real-world transaction dataset, IJCAI'16.

  • The video game industry is obsessed by the perception of "Next Generation Game". Appearance of the next generation game console has required the video game industry to renovate new technologies for their entire production. This tendency increases a huge mount of production cost. Game companies have to hire more designers to create a solid concept, artists to generate more detailed content, and programmers to optimize for more complex hardware. All those high cost efforts provide great locking games, but the potential of next generation game consoles does not end there. They also bring possibilities of the new types of gameplay. Next generation game contains a much larger pool of memories for every video game elements. The entire video game used to use roughly 800 animation files, but next generation game is pushing scripted event well over 4000 animation flies. That allows a lot of very unique custom animation for pretty much every action in the game. It gives game players much more vivid and realistic appreciation of the virtual world. Players are not being able to see any recycling of the same animation over and over when they are playing next generation game. The main purpose of this thesis is that defines the concept of next generation game and analyzes new animation-pipeline to be used in the shooter games.

  • This paper has described in Electric Vehicle Battery Management System(EV BMS). EV BMS manages the input/output energy of the traction battery, and provides the optimum environment condition during charging/ driving through the communication with other controllers. In this paper, we introduce our BMS for Santa Fe EV. Hyundai Motor Company has been developed EV since 1990. Recently, Santa Fe EV has been demonstrating with the environmental friendly technology. Two year real road testing program with electric powered Santa Fe is being undertaken by HMC in Hawaii.

  • In this paper, a communication module is proposed to be applied to communication between over current relay (OCR) agents in multi agent protection system. A multi agent system can achieve a global goal beyond the ability of each individual agent by working together, in which it is the prerequisite for each agent to be able to exchange or share information or processing status with other agent. The proposed communication module is purposed to enable not only each agent to bring about its own goal, but also the whole protective system to provide much improved coordinated protection. It is applied to a self adaptive protection system for a distribution network using multi agent concept to show its effectiveness.
