Proposal of Artificial Intelligence Convergence Curriculum for Upskilling of Financial Manpower : Focusing on Private Bankers and Robo-Advisors

  • Purpose - As new technologies that have led the 4th industrial revolution spread after the COVID-19 pandemic, the business crisis of existing financial institutions and the threat of employee jobs are growing, especially in the financial sector. The purpose of this study is to propose a human-technology convergence curriculum for creating high value-added in financial institutions and upskilling financial manpower. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, a curriculum was designed to strengthen job competency for Private Bankers, high-quality employees of a bank dealing with high-net-worth owners. The focus of the design is that learners acquire skills to use robo-advisors as a tool and supplement artificial intelligence ethics. Result - The curriculum is organized into a total of 16 classes, and the main contents are changes in the financial environment and financial consumers, the core technology of robo-advisors and AI ethics, and establishment and evaluation of hyper-personalized asset management strategies using robo-advisors. To achieve the educational goal, two evaluations are performed to derive individual tasks and team project results. Conclusion - Human-centered upskilling convergence education will contribute to improving employee value and expanding corporate high value-added business areas by utilizing new technologies as tools. It is expected that the development and application of convergence curriculum in various fields will continue to be advanced in the future.

  • Design scheme drawings of the two major corporate hospitals - Asan Medical Center and Samsung Medical Center - are analysed in the aspect of floor area distributions and their proportions for various users and user-functions. Primary users of hospitals are categorized into three ; patients, employees and others. Then, patient spaces are subdivided into patient private, patient/medical, patient/support staff, patient/nursing, patient/guardian, patient common ; employee spaces into doctors, trainees, doctors common, nurses, support staffs, non-medical staffs, employee common ; others spaces into subcontractors, general publics, non-living, and internal circulation. The purpose of this research is to develop a user-focused insight into hospital spaces and a new method of hospital programming and design.

  • While traditional benefit plan offers the same benefits to employees regardless of their needs, cafeteria benefit plan or flexible benefit plan allows staff to choose from a variety of benefits to formulate a plan that best suits their needs. Cafeteria plan options may include health and accident insurance, cash benefits, tax advantages and/or retirement plan contributions. In this paper, we analyzed conditions and problems of domestic firms' current benefit plans and draw a resolution by introducing cafeteria plan by investigating related previous studies, Specially we focused on A airline which is typical service firm and is regarded as one that benefit plan can be very influential to employees compared to other firms.

  • Human Resource Management (HRM) performs numerous activities in organizations including employee recruitment, selection, placement, job analysis, training and development, and labor relations. POSCO (Pohang Steel Company) has concerned with employee management related to job placement and analysis among these activities because of the problems of over-complexity of placement precedures for the variety of recruits, the frequency of selection, a large amount of job descriptions / specifications, and their changes. This study, as a phase of developing the entire HRM systems in the organization, briefly summarizes the preliminary information related and describes an implementation of expert system as a means for effective job placement based on the principle of right-person-in-right-place with identifying aptitudes and personalities of employees. Thus, a new approach for developing a job description/specification using a formal specification language like Z is also proposed. The result of this study will cultivate the performance of personnel, prevent conflicts between labor and management, promote overall productivity of organization, as well as helpfully verify job analysis.

기업 관리자의 직무역량이 종업원의 혁신활동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects Manager's Job Competency on Employee's Innovative Activity)

  • While many of company try to increase customer satisfaction by empowerment, there are need to figure out which can increase employee's problem solving ability in company side. It is related to Innovative Activity that can create new idea to fix job process. In this study, researcher institute a factor that 'Manager's Job Competency' which can increase member's Innovative Activity. And try to figuring out it has what kind of effect on innovative activity and management performance through empirical method. For the empirical study, researcher get 119 samples from service industry, and result of study show us manager's job competency has positive effect on member's innovative activity and management performance. Base on this result, researcher provide a manageric implication and limitaions of study.

  • 인공지능과 같은 스마트 기술의 도입은 다양한 산업 분야에 막대한 영향을 미치고 있다. 일부 전문가들은 스마트 기술이 새로운 영역의 등장, 생산성 향상을 일으키며 사람들의 일상과 업무처리 방식을 완전히 바꿀 것이라고 전망한다. 반면 부정적인 시선과 우려 또한 존재한다. 일자리 뺏김, 실업률의 상승 등 고용에 대한 많은 사회적 논쟁이 일어남에도 불구하고 인공지능시스템과 고용 간의 갈등에 대한 근본적인 해결책을 제공해주는 종업원 경험 기반의 연구는 미비하다. 따라서 본 연구는 중국 호텔업을 중심으로 인공지능 컨시어지로봇이 호텔 종업원에게 미치는 영향과 관련 요인을 찾아내며 이에 대한 인식이 사용자 저항과 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 연구하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 인공지능 컨시어지로봇 서비스가 도입된 중국 내 호텔에서 근무하는 종업원 322명을 대상으로 설문조사 및 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 호텔 종업원들의 인공지능과 로봇에 대한 인식이 사용자 저항 및 이직 의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였으며, 이러한 영향은 종업원의 자기효능감, 조직적 지원, 인공지능 서비스의 품질과 새로운 업무처리 방식의 전환비용에 의해 결정된다는 것을 발견하였다. 더불어 인공지능 서비스의 품질이 직간접적으로 사용자 저항과 이직의도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 학술적, 실무적 시사점을 제안하였다.

다수준 생존분석을 이용한 신규 간호사 이직 영향요인 (Predictors of Turnover among New Nurses using Multilevel Survival Analysis)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine factors influencing new graduate nurse turnover. Methods: This study was carried out as a secondary analysis of data from the 2010 Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey (GOMS). A total of 323 nurses were selected for analysis concerning reasons for turnover. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multilevel survival analysis. Results: About 24.5% of new nurses left their first job within 1 year of starting their jobs. Significant predictors of turnover among new nurse were job status, monthly income, job satisfaction, the number of hospitals in region, and the number of nurses per 100 beds. Conclusion: New graduate nurses are vulnerable to turnover. In order to achieve the best health of the nation, policy approaches and further studies regarding reducing new graduate nurse turnover are needed.

서울메트로 차량 유지보수체계 정보시스템의 경제성 분석 (Economic Analysis for Vehicle Maintenance Information System of Seoul Metro)

  • This study attempts to estimate economic benefits in terms of cost sayings and qualitative effects resulting ken implementation of new vehicle maintenance information system. It is widely expected that the effect of new vehicle maintenance information system will be significant in cost savings by information sharing and electronic documentation. To evaluate the economic feasibility of new system implementation, the study conducted seven subsystems case studies on the vehicle maintenance information system of Seoul Metro. Economic benefits are estimated by measuring the time savings, in turn, are calculated into cost savings by multiplying the average wages per hour of employee. The result of case study showed that over the 20 billion Won will be saved owing to new vehicle information system implementation. In conclusion, this study will contribute to the field of practices for the most, in evaluation of the economic benefits resulting from new information system implementation in the railway organization.

  • This article is summary of 'Korean Green New Deal' project which strives to revive Korea's Top 4 rivers for the next four years, between 2009 and 2012. The purpose of this project is balanced national development and recovered regional economy, creating new jobs. Details of the 'Korean Green New Deal' include means to reinforce obsolete embankments and to recover the river ecosystem by maintaining sedimentary soil, to install small- to middle-sized dams and flood control reservoirs and to establish eco-friendly reservoir for emergency water supplies. The project is expected to generate 190,000 new employee and create 23 trillion won worth production inducement effect, contributing in the revival of regional economies.

조직유착모형의 경험적 적합성에 관한 고찰 - 교사들의 경우를 중심으로 한 한 . 미간 비교연구 - (An Empirical Testing of Employee Attchment Model: A Comprison of South Korean and U.S. Teachers)

  • 본 논문은 피고용자들의 조직에 대한 헌신도와 근속의도에 초점을 두는 피고용자 조직유착(employee organizational attachment)의 인과모형을 비교, 검토한다. 이 논문은 교사들의 조직유착 행위에 대한 두 개의 연구, 즉 미국 시카고 지역 공립학교 교사들에 대한 연구와 한국의 서울시 중등학교 교사들에 대한 연구를 바탕으로 하고 있다. 이 논문의 이론적틀은 Price-Mueller의 조직유착모형이다. 이 모형은 크게 다섯 개 군의 변수들을 포함하고 있다: 1) 일(노동)에 대한 반응변수 - 업무만족도, 헌신도, 근속의도, 2) 심리학적 긴장변수 - 역할애매성, 역할갈등, 업무과부하, 학생들의 자질, 3) 사회적 구조변수 - 자율성, 단순성, 분배정의 승진의 정당성, 4) 경제적 구조변수 - 보수, 직업안정성, 승진기회, 외부 노동시장 기회, 그리고 5) 개인적 성향변수 - 직업헌신도, 노동가치, 기대만족, 긍정적 인성. 자료는 질문지 조사방법으로 수집되었으며, 서울시내 중등교사들을 대상으로 한 표본 조사 결과 649개의 유효사례가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 조직유착의 인과적 모형을 검증하기위해 LISREL을 이용한 공분산구조분석이 사용되었다. 결과에 따르면 근속의도에 대한 외생변수들의 영향을 매개하는 데, 내생변수인 업무만족도와 조직헌신도의 역할이 미국에 비해 크게 작을 뿐만 아니라, 이 모형은 근속의도 변수의 변량을 크게 설명하지도 못한다. 한국과 미국의 이러한 차이는 한국의 교사들이 가지고 있는 고용관계와 노동시장의 구조적 특성들, 즉 강제적 이동과 외부노동시장의 폐쇄성 때문에 나타나는 것으로 보인다. 미국에서 발달한 이러한 조직유착모형은 적용범위(scope condition)를 명시함으로써 예외적인 경험적 자료에 따른 잘못된 무효화를 방지할 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 앞으로 연구는 한국 교사들의 경우와 같은 구조적 제약에서 피고용자들의 조직유착을 가져오는 요인들에 대한 개념적 및 경험적 탐구에 더 많은 관심을 두어야 한다.
