스프레드시트를 기반으로 한 새로운 경영과학 강의 방식 (Spreadsheet-based Educational Method for Management Science)

  • New attempt has been made on Management Science (MS) education since the end of 1990s. The most distinctive feature of the new attempt is using spreadsheet program like Excel as a teaching tool for MS course. The spreadsheet program gives an excellent tool for modeling and solvina MS problems. In order to improve the pedagogical effect through using the spreadsheet program for MS course, new teaching model based on spreadsheet encompassing new course contents, effective instruction method, and examination method is needed. For this purpose, professors teaching MS should share their own teaching experiences and methods. So this paper explains remarkable functions of Excel and how to use them for the MS tools. This paper also stresses the importance of team project and case study to improve the effect of MS education through the use of Excel and presents some tips on MS education.

언플러그드 컴퓨팅과 EPL을 이용한 초등정보영재교육프로그램의 개발 (A Educational Program for Elementary Information Gifted Student using Unplugged Computing and EPL)

  • 본 연구에서 정보 영재를 교육하기 위한 새로운 방법으로 언플러그드 컴퓨팅과 EPL을 이용한 심화교육프로그램을 제안하였다. 먼저 언플러그드 컴퓨팅 교육을 분석하고 EPL을 활용한 정보영재교육을 위한 심화 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 영재교육프로그램의 교육과정과 수업 전략을 마련하였다. 그리고 정보영재학급의 초등학생들을 대상으로 언플러그드 컴퓨팅 심화 교육프로그램을 적용하였다. 개발된 영재교육프로그램의 효과성을 검증하기 위하여 IT 기반 지식과 알고리즘에 대한 사전 사후 t-검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과 언플러그드 컴퓨팅 교육 프로그램을 적용한 반이 사후검증에서 유의미한 수준으로 성취도가 향상된 것을 볼 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발한 언플러그드 컴퓨팅 교육프로그램은 향후 정보영재를 위한 교육프로그램에 효과적으로 적용될 것으로 기대된다.

고등학생을 위한 융합인재교육 프로그램 개발: 로봇, 신소재, 우주 탐사를 중심으로 (Development of Educational Program for Cultivating of Intergrative Thinking Person : Centering on Robot, New Materials, Space Exploration)

  • 이 연구는 로봇, 신소재, 우주탐사를 주제로한 융합인재교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 있다. 이 프로그램을 개발하기 위하여 융합인재교육과 로봇, 신소재, 우주 탐사 주제에 대한 문헌연구를 실시하였다. 그 결과 융합인재교육 프로그램 개발 전략을 마련하였으며, 학생용 교재 체제, 교사용 지도서 체재를 개발하였다. 개발한 교재는 현장적용을 통해 교사와 학생의 의견을 반영하여 수정하였다. 그 결과 로봇, 신소재, 우주탐사의 세 주제에 대한 10차시 분량의 융합인재교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이 연구의 결과로서 융합인재교육 프로그램을 개발할 때 개발전략, 학생용 및 교사용 지도서 개발의 체제를 마련하는데 이론적 근거를 제시하였다. 최종적으로 이 연구의 결과를 현장에 적용방안과 적용 결과에 대한 효과성 검증을 위한 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

실무중심 교육프로그램이 신규 간호사의 임상수행능력, 비판적 사고와 이직율에 미치는 영향 (Effects of a practical work-oriented education program on the ability of newly recruited nurses in execution of clinical competency, critical thinking and turnover rate)

  • 본 연구는 취업 전 간호대학생에게 적용된 실무중심 교육프로그램이 신규간호사의 임상수행능력, 비판적 사고와 이직율에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 실무중심 교육프로그램에 참여한 후 해당 병원에 취업한 간호사 와 실무중심 교육프로그램에 참여하지 않고 해당 병원에 취업한 간호사를 대상으로 실시한 단일군 전후설계 및 비동등성 대조군 사후설계 연구이다. 연구결과 취업 전 실무중심 교육프로그램에 참여한 간호사의 임상수행능력과 비판적 사고는 높게 나타났으며, 실무중심 교육프로그램에 간호사의 입사 후 1개월 이내 이직율은 감소하였다. 병원 취업 전 간호대학생때부터 실무중심의 교육프로그램을 운영하는 것이 중요하며 신규 간호사의 인적자원관리를 위해서 새롭게 시도한 실무중심 교육프로그램은 학교에서 학생의 임상실습 교과과정 개발과 병원에서 간호사 교육프로그램 개발 시 유용하게 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

프로그래밍 언어 교육용 콘텐츠의 평가준거 개발 (Development of an Evaluation Criterion for Educational Programming Language Contents)

  • 프로그램 언어 교육용 콘텐츠 평가 관련 기존 연구는 주로 일반적인 교육용 콘텐츠 평가를 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 하지만 문제해결능력 관점에서 프로그램 언어 교육용 콘텐츠에 대한 평가 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 프로그램 언어 교육용 콘텐츠에 대한 새로운 평가 준거 개발을 제안하며 그 세부 연구내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존 콘텐츠 평가 관련 연구를 분석하여 프로그램 언어 교육용 콘텐츠를 대한 평가 준거를 설계한다. 둘째, Visual Basic 교육용 프로그램 콘텐츠를 이용하는 교사들을 대상으로 설문 조사를 통해 설계된 평가 준거의 타당성을 검증하고 검증된 타당성을 근거로 실제 타당성을 실험하였다. 끝으로 본 논문의 연구 결과는 프로그램 언어 교육용 콘텐츠에 대한 평가 준거 제안과 분석을 통해 현재 사용 중이거나 향후 개발될 프로그램 언어 교육용 콘텐츠의 개발 및 평가 준거를 체계화하는데 기여할 것이다.

다문화가족 아버지교육 프로그램 개발과 효과분석 (The Development and Analysis of the Effect of Educational Programs for Fathers in Multi-Cultural Families)

  • Increased multi-cultural families over the recent decade have led to more studies on the current situations and problems they face. Fathers in multi-cultural families are supporters who can help their migrant wives adapt their new surroundings; however, it is difficult to find studies on them as their roles as fathers in multi-cultural families have been overlooked. This study develops educational programs for fathers in multi-cultural families and analyzes the effect of the educational programs. The educational program development for fathers in multi-cultural families was based on consideration of related articles, studies, and reports. The effect analysis for the educational program for fathers in multi-cultural families was performed through the investigation of 'self-esteem' and 'parent self-confidence' about educated fathers in multi-cultural families. The educational program for fathers in multi-cultural families was composed of 5 themes which can improve their self-esteem, understand the father's role and function, learn the skills of playing and conversation with their children and express the father's thoughts for his own family using positive methods. We educated 12 fathers in multi-cultural families through the development of the program over 5 weeks to verify the effect of educational programs for fathers in multi-cultural families. The results showed the following : The level of father's self-esteem in multi-cultural family increased 124% and the level of parent self-confidence increased 141%. In conclusion, the educational effect for fathers in multi-cultural family exists and their desire for a successful multi-cultural family increased through the educational programs.

교과교실제 중학교의 평면구성 분석연구 - 2013년 LH 현상설계안과 실시설계의 비교 - (A Study on the Plan Composition of Departmental Classroom Type in Middle School - Comparison Design Competition with Construction Design about LH in 2013-)

  • After the introduction of the 7th education program, educational facilities have been requested to change to face new curriculums and have been planned. The purpose of this study is to fill up a gap between the study of education facilities, building planning and real educational spot and also find difference of plan composition by analyzing latest middle school floor plans. In this regard, floor plans of 8 middle schools proposed in LH design competition is compared and analyzed in this study. To sum up this analysis, the guide lines suggested from Korean educational development institute(KEDI) has not been followed in many building planning. For subject classrooms, guide lines from KEDI were ignored and support facilities did not planned as necessary space calculated through scale estimation program. To select a planned proposal in the future, demand of scale estimation, various studies, real educational spot and etc. should be reflected.

  • In the knowledge and information society of 21st century, 'Creativity' which is the core of national competitiveness and an important foundation for the development of the country has been emphasized on the importance of it. As a result, the convergence educational programs, as known as STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) became more and more needed to children for cultivating creativity. As a follow-up study on STEAM program combining robotics and design for children developed by Design Promotion Committee of KIID, this study intends to modify and reanalyze the program and to seize the educational effectiveness of the groups of university students as mentors and children as mentees, The results are as follows; First, although the importance of STEAM education is highlighted, short-term educational programs tend to consist of only the contents of each field: design or science. Second, pre-training and mentoring were helpful to both mentors and children. Third, Children expanded the perception of STEAM concept and increased their interests in career. Mentors recognized the importance and the necessity of STEAM education, and were very satisfied with team activities which gave a new experience of working with other field of people. Therefore, this program provide to children an experience of logical thinking, having interests on uninterested field, and encouraging teamwork. Also, it provides to mentors a chance to develop their potential and experience, and set up a new vision for future.

한국에서의 해외지역 연구와 교육에 대한 비판적 고찰 (Rethinking of Research and Educational Trends in Foreign Studies Field in Korea)

  • This paper is aimed to examine the current research and educational problems of foreign studies in Korean universities and review some alternative ways. Area studies as foreign studies have several characteristics which are different from those of the other research disciplines. It is a research and educational program that promotes comprehensive understanding about political, economic, social, and cultural phenomena of a specific area in the world. For better understand 'others', researchers in the field of area studies must explain the whole mechanism of the area, which could be revealed in terms of the very existence of its reality. Foreign studies are accomplished with joint-research method, collaborating two or more different research disciplines and based on the contemporary system of knowledge accumulation and educational program. Therefore, the critical issue can be gradually taken on a political and social characteristic. At this point, research and educational manner in foreign studies field in Korea should be changed to secure the academic reflections of temporality, sociality, placeness using a new paradigm such as complexity.

교육 연극을 활용한 감성 중심 환경교육이 초등학생의 환경 소양에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Emotional Environmental Education Salovey through Educational Theatre on Elementary School Students' Environmental Literacy)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of environmental education program through educational theatre on student's environmental literacy of 5th graders in an elementary school in Seoul. The students were divided into an experimental group and a control group. Then, the experimental group had the emotion-centered environmental education program using educational theatre, and the control group had the regular education process, which is a general lecture about the environment. The SPSS 12.0 program was used to analyze the results. The major result of the study was as follows. First, the researcher was able to develop and apply professor-learning model for the environment education using the educational theatre by abstracting and recreating environment-related contents from the 5th grade curriculum. Second, the study has showed that applying the emotion-centered program using the education theatre for the environment education certainly contributes to the improvement of the environment knowledge of the elementary students. Third, the emotion-centered environment education program has influenced evenly on the elements of the environment knowledge divided by the four goal levels of the environment education. Finally, the higher the student's emotional quotient is, the more improvement of the environment knowledge the student gets when using the emotion-centered environment education program using the education theatre. In conclusion, the emotion-centered environment education program using the education theatre is a usable method to the elementary schools, and has a positive effect on increasing the environment knowledge of 5th grade students. In the time of requiring the diverse environment education methods, this program is worth to try as a new education method. Therefore, it is necessary to research more on the professor-learning activities related to this study.
