Tuning Fuzzy Rules Based on Additive-Type Fuzzy System Models

  • In this paper, we suggested a neuro-fuzzy learning algorithm for tuning fuzzy rules, in which a fuzzy system model is of additive-type. Using the method, it is possible to reduce the computation size, since performing the fuzzy inference and tuning the fuzzy rules of each fuzzy subsystem model are independent. Moreover, the efficiency of suggested method is shown by means of a numerical example.

  • 본 논문에서는 Particle Swarm Optimization 기법을 이용한 뉴로-퍼지 시스템의 파라미터 동정을 실시한다. PSO의 학습 및 군집 특성을 이용하여 시스템을 학습한다. 유전 알고리즘과 같은 무작위 탐색법을 이용하며 하나의 해 군집에 대해 다수 객체들이 탐색하는 기법을 통하여 최적해 부분의 탐색성능을 높여 전체 모델의 학습성능을 개선하고자 한다. 제안된 기법의 유용성을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 보이고자 한다.

  • Voice is one of the most efficient communication media and it includes several kinds of factors about speaker, context emotion and so on. Human emotion is expressed is expressed in the speech, the gesture, the physiological phenomena(the breath, the beating of the pulse, etc). In this paper, the emotion recognition method model using neuro-fuzzy in order to have cognizance of emotion from voice signal is presented and simulated.

  • In adaptive neuro-control, neural networks are used to approximate the unknown plant nonlinearities. Until now, most of the papers in the field of controller design fur nonlinear system using neural networks considers the affine system with fixed number of neurons. This paper considers nonaffne nonlinear systems and dynamic variation of the number of neurons. Control laws and adaptive laws for weights are established so that the whole system is stable in the sense of Lyapunov.

  • This paper describes the structure Identification of nonlinear function using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference Technique(ANFIS). Nonlinear mapping relationship between inputs and outputs were modeled by Sugeno-Takaki's Fuzzy Inference Method. Specially, the consequent parts were identified using a series of 1st order equations and the antecedent parts using triangular type membership function or bell type ones. According to learning Rules of ANFIS, adjustable parameters were converged rapidly and accurately.

  • CMAC model was proposed by Albus [6] to formulate the processing characteristics of the human cerebellum. Instead of the global weight updating scheme used in the back propagation, CMAC use the local weight updating scheme. Therefore, CMAC have the advantage of fast learning and high convergence rate. In this paper, simulate Color Calibration by CMAC in color images and design hardware by VHDL-base high-level synthesis.

  • 프로펠러 회전면에서의 반류분포는 주로 모형시험에 의해서 규명되어 왔다. 이렇게 축적된 데이터베이스를 통해 선박의 기하학적 형상정보와 반류분포 사이의 입출력관계를 모델링할 수 있다. 면 선박 초기설계시 유사선종의 설계에 도움이 된다. 본 연구에서는 이들 입출력 사이의 관계를 뉴로퍼지시스템으로 모델링하고 학습한 후 새로운 입력에 대한 출력값의 검토를 통해 그 유용성을 확인한다.

  • The Rough Set theory suggested by Pawlak in 1982 has been useful in AI, machine learning, knowledge acquisition, knowledge discovery from databases, expert system, inductive reasoning. etc. The main advantages of rough set are that it does not need any preliminary or additional information about data and reduce the superfluous informations. but it is a significant disadvantage in the real application that the inference result form is not the real control value but the divided disjoint interval attribute. In order to overcome this difficulty, we will propose approach in which Rough set theory and Neuro-fuzzy fusion are combined to obtain the optimal rule base from lots of input/output datum. These results are applied to the rule construction for infering the temperatures of refrigerator's specified points.

  • In this paper, it Is presented a new scheme of adaptive-neuro control system to implement real-time control of robot manipulator. Unlike the well-established theory for the adaptive control of linear systems, there exists relatively little general theory for the adaptive control of nonlinear systems. Adaptive control technique is essential for providing a stable and robust performance for application of robot control. The proposed neuro control algorithm is one of learning a model based error back-propagation scheme using Lyapunov stability analysis method. Through simulation, the proposed adaptive-negro control scheme is proved to be a efficient control technique for real-time control of robot system using DSPs.

  • In this paper, an effective method for selecting significant input variables in building ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System) for nonlinear system modeling is proposed. Dominant inputs in a nonlinear system identification process are extracted by evaluating the performance index and they are applied to ANFIS. The availability of our proposed model is verified with the Box and Jenkins gas furnace data. The comparisons with other methods are also given in this paper to show our proposed method is superior to other models.
