  • The Loose Part Monitoring System(LPMS) has been designed to detect. locate and evaluate detached or loosened parts and foreign objects in the reactor coolant system. In this paper, at first, we presents an application of the back propagation neural network. At the preprocessing step, the moving window average filter is adopted to reject the reject the low frequency background noise components. And then, extracting the acoustic signature such as Starting point of impact signal. Rising time. Half period. and Global time, they are used as the inputs to neural network . Secondly, we applied the neural network algorithm to LPMS in order to estimate the mass of loose parts. We trained the impact test data of YGN3 using the backpropagation method. The input parameter for training is Rising clime. Half Period amplitude. The result shored that the neural network would be applied to LPMS. Also, applying the neural network to thin practical false alarm data during startup and impact test signal at nuclear power plant, the false alarms are reduced effectively.

  • This paper presents a new approach to the design of neural control system using digital signal processors in order to improve the precision and robustness. Robotic manipulators have become increasingly important in the field of flexible automation. High speed and high-precision trajectory tracking are indispensable capabilities for their versatile application. The need to meet demanding control requirement in increasingly complex dynamical control systems under significant uncertainties, leads toward design of intelligent manipulation robots. The TMS320C31 is used in implementing real time neural control to provide an enhanced motion control for robotic manipulators. In this control scheme, the networks introduced are neural nets with dynamic neurons, whose dynamics are distributed over all the network nodes. The nets are trained by the distributed dynamic back propagation algorithm. The proposed neural network control scheme is simple in structure, fast in computation, and suitable for implementation of real-time control. Performance of the neural controller is illustrated by simulation and experimental results for a SCARA robot.

  • In this paper, We propose a control system which compensate a output of a main Neual Network using a RTDNN(Recurrent Time Delayed Neural Network) with a FLC(Fuzzy Logic Controller)After a learn of main neural network, it can occur a Over shoot or Under shoot from a disturbance or a load variations. In order to adjust above case, we used the fuzzy compensator to get an expected results. And the weight of main neural network can be changed with the result of learning a inverse model neural network of plant, so a expected dynamic characteristics of plant can be got. We can confirm good response characteristics of proposed neural network controller by the results of simulation.

  • Radionuclide identification is an important part of the nuclear material identification system. The development of artificial intelligence and machine learning has made nuclide identification rapid and automatic. However, many methods directly use existing deep learning models to analyze the gamma-ray spectrum, which lacks interpretability for researchers. This study proposes an explainable radionuclide identification algorithm based on the convolutional neural network and class activation mapping. This method shows the area of interest of the neural network on the gamma-ray spectrum by generating a class activation map. We analyzed the class activation map of the gamma-ray spectrum of different types, different gross counts, and different signal-to-noise ratios. The results show that the convolutional neural network attempted to learn the relationship between the input gamma-ray spectrum and the nuclide type, and could identify the nuclide based on the photoelectric peak and Compton edge. Furthermore, the results explain why the neural network could identify gamma-ray spectra with low counts and low signal-to-noise ratios. Thus, the findings improve researchers' confidence in the ability of neural networks to identify nuclides and promote the application of artificial intelligence methods in the field of nuclide identification.

  • In this paper, we propose a new active noise control system that cancels the only noise signal from the mixture selectively. A blind source separation realized by a dynamic recurrent neural network is used as a preprocessor of the active noise control system and separates the desired signal and the noise signal. The active noise control system adaptively generates an anti-noise signal to remove the only noise signal separated by the blind source separation. Computer simulation results show that the proposed scheme is effective to construct a selective attention system.

  • In this paper, we introduce a generalized synchronization method and secure communication in the State-Controlled Cellular Neural Network (SC-CNN). We make a SC-CNN using the n-double scroll. A SC-CNN is created by applying identical n-double scroll or non-identical n-double scroll and Chua's oscillator with weak coupled method to each cell. SC-CNN synchronization was achieved using GS(Generalized Synchronization) method between the transmitter and receiver about each state variable in the SC-CNN. In order to secure communication, we have synthesizing the desired information with a SC-CNN circuit by adding the information signal to the hyper-chaos signal using the SC-CNN in the transmitter. And then, transmitting the synthesized signal to the ideal channel, we confirm secure communication by separating the information signal and the SC-CNN signal in the receiver.

  • For the diagnosis of compressor abnormal condition in air-conditioner, AE signal which is derived from wear condition, compressed air and assembly error is analyzed experimentally. The burst and continuous type AE signal occurred by metal contact and compressed air and AE raw signal of compressors were directly acquired in production line. After extracting samples according to waveforms, Early Life Test(ELT) is conducted and classified to normal and abnormal waveform. The efficient parameters of waveform pattern are investigated in time and frequency domain and the diagnosis algorithm of air-conditioner by Neural Network estimation is suggested.

  • In this paper, we propose a pattern classification system for digital signal which is based on neural networks. The proposed system consists of two models of neural network. The first part is a wavelet neural network whose role is a feature extraction. For this part, we compare existing models of wavelet networks and propose a new model for feature extraction. The other part is a wavelet network for pattern classification. We modify the structure of previous wavelet network for pattern classification and propose a learning method. The inputs of the pattern classification wavelet network is connection weights, dilation and translation parameters in hidden nodes of feature extraction network. And the output is a class of the signal which is input of feature extraction network. The proposed system is, applied to classification of EEG signal based on frequency.

  • The convolutional neural network is composed of convolutional layers and fully connected layers. The nonlinear activation function is used in each layer of the convolutional layer and the fully connected layer. The activation function being used in a neural network is a function that simulates the method of transmitting information in a neuron that can transmit a signal and not send a signal if the input signal is above a certain criterion when transmitting a signal between neurons. The conventional activation function does not have a relationship with the loss function, so the process of finding the optimal solution is slow. In order to improve this, an agile activation function that generalizes the activation function is proposed. The agile activation function can improve the performance of the deep neural network in a way that selects the optimal agile parameter through the learning process using the primary differential coefficient of the loss function for the agile parameter in the backpropagation process. Through the MNIST classification problem, we have identified that agile activation functions have superior performance over conventional activation functions.

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG) signal's shape and characteristic varies through each individual, so it is difficult to classify with one neural network. It is difficult to classify the given data directly, but if corresponding normal beat is given, it is relatively easy and accurate to classify the beat by comparing two beats. In this study, we classify the ECG signal by generating the reference normal beat through the template cluster, and combining with the input ECG signal. It is possible to detect abnormal beats of various individual's records with one neural network by learning and classifying with the imaged ECG beats which are combined with corresponding reference normal beat. Especially, various neural networks, such as GoogLeNet, ResNet, and DarkNet, showed excellent performance when using the comparative learning. Also, we can confirmed that GoogLeNet has 99.72% sensitivity, which is the highest performance of the three neural networks.
