Home networking and its security issues are directly related. Previous studies have shown that home-network and understanding the security of it is a problem for non-technical users. The existing network management tools or ISP adapter tools are far too technical and difficult to be understood by ordinary home-network users. Its interface is not non-technical user-directed and does not address the home user's needs in securing their network. This paper presents an interactive security monitoring tool, which emphasizes support features for home-network users. The tool combines an interactive visual appearance with a persuasive approach that supports sustainability. It is not only an easy-to-use tool for all categories of home-network users but also acts as a monitoring feature for the user to secure their home-network.

The main purpose of the study is to determine the key aspects of the mechanisms of state management of the exchange of information about cyberattacks, cyber incidents, and information security incidents. The methodology includes a set of theoretical methods. Modern government, on the one hand, must take into account the emergence of such a new weapon as cyber, which can break various information systems, can be used in hybrid wars, influence political events, pose a threat to the national security of any state. As a result of the study, key elements of the mechanisms of state management of the exchange of information about cyberattacks, cyber incidents, and information security incidents were identified.

망이 대규모화되고 복잡해짐에 따라 하나의 망관리자에 의해 전체 망관리 시스템 을 관리하는 어려움은 여러 망관리자에 관리 행위가 분산되어 수행되어야 한다. 또한 서로 다른 망관리 정책을 사용하는 각각의 망관리 시스템 사이에는 보안을 유지하며 상호운용성을 제고해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 각 망관리 시스템에 역할 격자구조를 보유하게 하고 새로운 역할의 요구시 동적으로 역할을 부여하는 알고리즘을 통하여 망관리 시스템간의 보안 상호운용을 제공하도록 하였다. 또한 역할 격자구조가 하나의 역할과 다른 역할 사이의 상호 관련성을 고려하여 시스템의 상태에 따라 역할들의 관리 권한을 동적으로 변경하여 비밀성과 무결성이 유지 되도록 하는 여러가지 보안 규칙을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 보안 규칙들을 ECA 규칙을 이요하여 표현하였다.

오늘날의 네트워크는 여러 위협적인 공격에 취약한 상태에 있다. 특히 인터넷 서비스나 전자상거래와 같은 서비스를 제공하는 기업은 위험에 노출이 되어 있고 공격자의 타겟이 된다. 그리하여 기업들은 각종 보안솔루션을 사용하는 것이 현실적이다. 이것은 우리가 이용하고 있는 학내망에서도 예외일 수는 없음으로 학내망에도 FireWall, IDS, VirusWall VPN 등 여러가지 보안 솔루션들이 존재한다. 관리자들은 이 여러 가지의 보안솔루션들을 관리해야 하는데 그러기에는 효율성이 떨어져 모든 솔루션을 관제 및 통제 할 수 있는 어떠한 관리 시스템이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서 ESM이 관리하는 보안솔루션에 대한 기본적인 내용과 ESM을 사용했을 때의 장단점을 다룬다. 또한 그렇게 구현된 학내망에 ESM을 이용하여 관리자가 학내망을 더욱 효율적이고 체계적으로 관리할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

Internet attack incidents have steadily increased along with the increase in Internet users. To protect systems and networks from these attacks, advanced security systems have been developed. Now that these security systems are operating, their successful management is more important than the purchase and establishment of new information security systems. The acquisition of good systems is ineffective and financially wasteful unless they are managed properly. Adequate management policy has recently become the focus of users. In other words, for companies and educational institutions with their domains, capital expenses are enormous to bear, and good security staffs are difficult to find, for which reasons outsourcing vendors or Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) that manage and operate the information security systems of certain domains become very appealing. Today, customers expect ISPs to perform MSSP services that used to be carried out by the security companies. This document presents the role and necessity of ISPs as MSSPs.

In information security and network management, attacks based on vulnerabilities have grown in importance. Malicious attackers break into hosts using a variety of techniques. The most common method is to exploit known vulnerabilities. Although patches have long been available for vulnerabilities, system administrators have generally been reluctant to patch their hosts immediately because they perceive the patches to be annoying and complex. To solve these problems, we propose a security vulnerability evaluation and patch framework called PKG-VUL, which evaluates the software installed on hosts to decide whether the hosts are vulnerable and then applies patches to vulnerable hosts. All these operations are accomplished by the widely used simple network management protocol (SNMP). Therefore, system administrators can easily manage their vulnerable hosts through PKG-VUL included in the SNMP-based network management systems as a module. The evaluation results demonstrate the applicability of PKG-VUL and its performance in terms of devised criteria.

LTE/SAE는 공격자의 키 획득 및 공격에 노출된 네트워크 노드를 고립시키기 위해 핸드오버 키 관리기법을 정의하고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 핸드오버 키 관리 기법이 비동기화 공격에 의해 전방향안전성이 보장되지 못 함을 보일 뿐만 아니라, 재전송 공격을 통해 안전한 핸드오버 키 전달을 저해하여, 핸드오버 지연을 유발할 수 있음을 보인다. 또한 상기의 공격들을 방지하기 위한 해결책을 제시하고, 해결책에 따른 연산 및 통신소모를 분석한다.

그리드는 지리적으로 흩어져 있는 이종의 자원들을 고속 네트워크로 연결하여 협업하기 위한 기반구조이다. 그리드 응용의 수행되기 위해서는 먼저 네트워크의 안정성과 신뢰성이 보장되어야 함으로 네트워크 자원들은 관리되어야 한다. GMA는 대규모 분산된 자원의 모니터링을 위한 효과적인 구조를 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 GMA를 기반으로 실제적이고 전체적인 네트워크 관리를 위한 웹 기반 그리드 네트워크 관리 시스템을 설계하였다. 그리드 네트워크 관리 시스템은 여러 분산된 관리 시스템을 스스로 유지시키면서 연결할 수 있어야 한다. LDAP 인증을 이용하여 시스템 접근에 대해 관리자 인증을 수행하여 그리드 네트워크 관리 시스템의 안정성을 보장한다.

Network industry is complex combined with various fields of industry, such as communication, broadcast, construction, and home appliances. Moreover, it's fairly lucrative since the growth industry makes lots of added values, interacting with the others. The network industry, usually called 'Ubiquitous', connects some home appliances and makes an integrated system that you can use them with whenever and wherever. A demand for network security, however, has skyrocketed due to the relatively low safety. It's been expected that the market of home security is going to be grown up nearly 30 percent every year. Recently, analog surveilance cameras have been replaced with digital ones, and they will be providing stronger security services taking advantage of mutual interaction with related industies. In this paper, a mobile monitoring system for home security is proposed, which makes it possible to supervise all home appliances wherever you're, using the conventional wired/wireless network infra.

최근 급격하게 사용이 증가되고 있는 멀티미디어 서비스는 QoS를 만족하기 위하여 네트워크의 속도, 잡음 환경, 단말의 계산 능력, 컨텐츠 종류 등을 기반으로 멀티미디어 데이터를 변환, 전송한다. 멀티미디어 서비스에서 정보 보호를 위해 중간 수준의 단일한 보안 서비스만을 제공하거나 단말의 계산 능력 및 컨텐츠 종류에 따라 서비스 제공자 정책에 기반한 보안 메커니즘을 제공한다. 안전한 멀티미디어 서비스를 지원하기 위해 응용 계층의 보안과 네트워크 보안 메커니즘을 연구하여 보다 효과적인 멀티미디어 서비스를 위한 보안 메커니즘을 지원할 수 있다. 본 논문은 확장성과 경제성을 향상시킨 무선랜 메쉬 네트워크에서의 보안 수준, 침해 수준에 대한 효용 함수와 누적 보정 모델을 기반으로 멀티미디어 서비스 제공자가 단말의 계산 능력 및 컨텐츠의 종류 이외의 무선랜 메쉬 네트워크에서의 정량화된 보안 수준을 고려하여 멀티미디어 서비스의 보안 메커니즘을 결정하는 프레임워크를 정의 한다.
