Design and Analysis of a New Video Conference System Supporting the NAT of Firewall (방화벽 NAT를 지원하는 새로운 다자간 화상회의 시스템의 설계 및 분석)

  • A video-conference system is being utilized in web based application services in various fields due to the widespread use of Internet and the progress of computer technologies. This system should use the public IP address for sharing file and white board and it is difficult to manage the internal network users of the firewall and non-public IP address users. In this paper, we propose an Application Level Gateway which transforms non-public IP address into public IP address. This mechanism is for the internal network users of the firewall or non-public IP address users over the Internet. We also propose a Control Daemon which manages video and audio media dynamically according to network bandwidth. This mechanism can start and terminate a video conference and manage the process of the video conference.

  • In this paper, Neural-Network Identifier that has time-delay element, error limit and small weighting factor is proposed. A proposed identifier has good performance to identify non-linear system with noise. To test the effectiveness of the algorithm presented above, the simulation for output tracking of non-linear system is implemented.

  • In this paper, a novel speed estimation method of an induction motor using neural networks(NNs) is presented. The NN speed estimator is trained online by using the error backpropagation algorithm, and the training starts simultaneously with the induction motor working. The neural network based vector controller has the advantage of robustness against machine parameter variation. The simulation results using Matlab/Simulink verify the useful of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, a new algorithm is proposed which distributes multicast cells in a copy network. The dual copy network is composed of running adder network, distributor, dummy address encoder, and broadcasting network. It is operated lower input address and higher one simultaneously by the distribution algorithm. As a result, for each input has a better equal opportunity of processing, cell delay and hardware complexity are reduced in copy network. Also, for it adopts the broadcasting network from an expansion Banyan network with binary tree and Banyan network, overflow probability is reduced to a half in that network. As a result of computer simulation, the copy network processed by the distribution algorithm is remarkably improved in cell delay of input buffer according to all input loads.

  • IPv6는 IPv4 기반의 인터넷의 주소고갈과 새로운 부가 기능 등의 필요성 때문에 IETF에서 IPv4를 대체하기 위해 채택 된 프로토콜이다. 하지만 IPv4를 어느 한순간에 IPv6로 대체하는 것은 불가능하기 때문에 기존 IPv4와의 호환 및 연동을 위한 여러 메커니즘이 연구되었다. 그 중 NAT-PT(Network Address Translation-Protocol Translation)는 IPv4/IPv6 헤더 변환기술을 적용한 대표적인 변환 메커니즘이며, IP 패킷을 통과하는 망의 IP버전에 맞게 변환 시켜서 전송하는 방식이다. 그러나 모든 패킷들이 하나의 NAT-PT 노드로 집중되므로 병목현상이 발생하며, 이로 인해 성능저하가 발생한다. 본 논문은 NAT-PT 병목현상을 줄이기 위한 방안으로 DNS-ALG 기반된 서버를 이용하여 다중 NAT-PT를 사용한 방법을 제안한다.

  • Earth parameters me essential to design and analysis of earth. In this study, a algorithm to estimate earth parameter using artificial neural network(ANN) was proposed. Structures of the soil are grouped by using KSOM algorithm before estimation. Earth parameter is obtained by using BP algorithm. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm was verified in the case study.

  • Appling centralized network management architecture SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) to wireless networks causes the network overhead, NAT(Network Address Translation) problem on AP, and performance degradation of mobile nodes. In this paper, we propose an integrated management scheme for wired and wireless networks using mobile agents in order to solve above problems. In our proposed scheme, SNMP is applied to manage wired networks and MAs of SNMP are implemented in APs or wireless nodes to manage wireless networks. In addition, we propose a method to reduce the redundant OID information within SNMP response messages. Through the analysis, we show that our proposal resolves the given problems and reduces the processing delay of the wireless nodes.

  • DHT(Distributed Hash Table) networks such as Kademlia are vulnerable to the ID mapping attack caused by the voluntary DHT mapping structure where the location of a node is solely determined by itself on the network topology. This causes security problems such as eclipse, DRDoS and botnet C&C on DHT networks. To prevent ID mapping attacks, we propose a non-voluntary DHT mapping scheme and perform analysis on NAT compatibility, attack resistance, and network dynamicity. Analysis results show that our approach may have an equivalent level of attack resistance comparing with other defense mechanisms and overcome their limitations including NAT compatibility and network dynamicity.

  • In this paper, we present autonomous mobile robot system, which has an image recognition module and perform tasks by itself with manipulator. Autonomous mobile robot can push each individual button on an elevator panel from a person's command. After the robot receives its command, it analyzes the image information of the elevator button that is acquired by CCD camera in an indoor environment with an elevator.   • The objective of this paper is to control a nonlinear dynamical systems based on Self-Organized Distributed Networks (SODN). The learning with the SODN is fast and precise. Such properties are caused from the local learning mechanism Each local network learns only data in a subregion. Methods for indirect adaptive control of nonlinear systems using the SODN is presented. Through extensive simulation, the SODN is shown to be effective for adaptive control of nonlinear dynamic systems.
